@Regitnui Issue is, next one in the cycle was Earth, and the guy in control of the Earth Kingdom really doesn't like the avatar, so people don't know if he's been killed or not. So technically it's either Earth or Fire.

@Bluetommy So, if i've got this straight, the Earth King-type-person might be hiding the Avatar or intentionally not looking for them, and nobody knows if the last Avatar is properly dead yet?

Can I be a waterbender from the Eastern Earth Kingdom coast? The old tribe that eventually became the swampbenders, but are now waterbenders learning the "bending the water in plants" trick that allows their descendants to thrive in the swamp?

@Regitnui The last avatar was Water, and he was killed for sure, but the next one was Earth, and he hasn't showed. So there's worry they were killed.

I was tempted to join, then I saw how big the group was getting. I may not join, but I've got an idea for a character who is a noble, and seeks to avatar because if the avatar shows up and saves the day, he wants to be there to get the avatar's blessing and take over as the new ruler. (Basically a nephew of the bad guy trying to get ahead in life. May not go this route later.)
