Aya
“You’re kind of pathetic, you know that?”
Name:Naganohara Aya
Gender: Female
Age: 16
Physical Description: Naganohara Aya stands at 157 centimeters, bearing a smaller height than some of her peers but not exactly considered short enough to be decidedly mocked about her stature. Though, sometimes Aya thinks she’d prefer being a few centimeters shorter if it gave her even a little more depth to her bust size – a symptom of her physical form that she has been insecure about since she entered High School. That aside, Aya is a well-dressed and confident young woman with long green hair that is often strewn into twin-tails or a clean ponytail; she rarely wears her hair down and refuses to show weakness in her posture and manners. In fact, due to her insecurities with her feminine figure she often tries to make up for it with a presence that can only be described as “loud”.
Gender:Female
Former Life:Student
Clubs:Girl’s Baseball
Gear: TBD
Skills: Athlete: Seeking to find something to be passionate about, Aya has turned to the pastime of Baseball. It is widely known that Aya’s mother prior to her car accident was a committed minor league athlete and it seems Aya’s interest in the sport has gained her an understanding of all of the tools of the trade. She has the athletic prowess of a runner, pitcher, and hitter though it is no secret that she enjoys the third option the most.
Good Student: Aya may not be a bookish nerd, but she is at the very least good enough to be above expectations for a tomboyish sporty girl. Her father was very strict with her academics throughout her life and instilled pride in her work ethic whether it is with a shinai, baseball, or book.
Music Hobbyist: Aya’s favorite thing that isn’t club-oriented to do is sing and listen to her favorite albums (because listening to songs is what people who don't care about music do). Sometimes she screams in her room and it helps her clear her anxiety. Othertimes she listens to Shiina Ringo records really loud. It helps that she lives by herself.
Martial Arts: Aya was a junior regional champion in kendo before she entered high school and despite abstaining from joining or forming a kendo or judo club of any kind, her skills that she honed when she was younger have not vanished. The reasons for her “retirement” from the art is unknown and as such it appears that Aya is not privy to tell anyone. It is likely that Aya could defend herself with above-average determination compared to some of her classmates.
Likes & Dislikes: Aya’s interests are mostly within baseball, Japanese literature & film, and alternative music. To go into specifics this includes the cinematic genre of jidaigeki, television serials in the asadora style, and bands in the style of Polkadot Stingray and Tricot. She doesn’t much care for contemporary idol groups and other contemporary pop music. She’s tried to be interested in manga and anime in the past but has outright come to the personal conclusion that such things are “dumb and basically for children and perverts”. She also doesn’t like people who don’t focus on the task at hand and as such doesn’t really understand multitasking.
Personality: Antagonistic

Biography:By all appearances, Naganohara Aya is a normal high school student from an otherwise irrelevant sector of Japan with equally irrelevant parents. The most important and standout thing about Aya is the fact that her mother died in a car accident when she was nine years old, changing the course of her life and most of all her disposition of being a friendly, optimistic Japanese girl into a girl who was not ready to cope with the sudden death of a person who was everything to her. Her father would notice this on his return to Japan and eventually suggest she take her sadness and channel it towards something more productive. This suggestion wouldn’t exactly motivate Aya, but after her uncle introduced her to the martial art (and sport) of kendo she found an outlet for her own despair. This would last well throughout her middle school years, earning herself accolades and a few championships until one day she just upped and quit.
As a high school student she has found herself on the Girl’s Baseball Team – a place she finds herself more happy than she did in Kendo.
Other:Her theme is in her picture. You can click it. It's a fun time, I promise.
If you say she looks like Hatsune Miku she might break your arm.
