Is this going to be more linear than sandbox? I notice the original RP was pretty huge in scale and character intimacy was lost as a result.

What are you implying, if I may ask? I feel the previous RP was somewhat a mix of both. The anime/manga was followed closely, giving the RP an end goal, but sandbox-ish enough to give people freedom to reach the end goal in their own ways.

Last time I did one of these was like 2 years ago on discord and it died from too many people powergaming. I still have the sheet lying around so I might work up an adaptation tomorrow.

I am implying that sandbox RPs are a “hard sell”. I’m up for giving one a chance again, but unless you marry linear and sandbox I’m probably going to scratch my ass like a chimpanzee and go “wat do” a lot.

Last time still, for the most, followed the linear path before it was supposed to branch out. However, other commitments caused some issues and character interaction was ultimately limited. I hope that we actually go ahead and interact more, as I found myself only talking to one person occasionally.

Yeah, you can. The CS in this version is the same CS from before, I just merged the height and weight sections into an appearance section.

Well the Shiganshina part didn't last for very long, so it's all fine. Just post the CS when we get to that point. :)

Attention:

This RP has been underway for sometime, yet as we prepare to shift over to the training arc, I have decided to open this RP up to at least four more players in a hopeful push to increase activity and character interaction. Signups will last until Sunday, though if there are still spaces open by then, I will likely keep the open until all spaces are filled. This will not be first come, first serve, so if there are more than four people interested, then I would like to see your sheets by Sunday (which should be more than enough time to fill in a simple character sheet).
