Niah finished her morning run. It felt good to get her pent up energy out, though she could just imagine Antonie running beside her which made her want to run faster. Things hadn't quite gone as planned, but did they ever? After a shower, she stepped into the kitchen to get some water. She almost didn't go into the room when she realized someone was in there, but when she recognized it as Cass she decided it would be fine. Niah gave her a small smile and nod and poured herself a cup of room temperature water.
"How are the upgrades going?" She asked after taking several sips of water. Niah wanted to be her normal self, but she had a feeling that self was gone, dead with all the people that had died since the start of Phase Three. Her hand tightened around the cup she held as she thought about what HYDRA had done to her and the rest of them.
Location: Cargo Hold Trainng Ground Skills: Hand-to-Hand Combat
Tinley punched the bag in front of her with gusto. She had been relieving herself of pent up stress since her interrogation with von Strucker. She hadn't managed to get out much useful information and it killed her that he knew more than he would say. What was worse, they still had that shadow over them. HYDRA had paid for their powers. HER powers. She had enjoyed having her abilities and to hear that it was because of HYDRA had struck a nerve.
"Use me will they? They wanted a weapon, well they got one!" She unleashed a torrent of punches and kicks. She had volunteered to undergo the process again. She was already with the powers and they proved useful. So she went under again and came out with another power, one she had been practicing with.
She wiped her brow and let the bag have a rest. She took some deep breaths. She felt out of control in many regards and she hated not being in control.
Tempest Renroir
Location: The Playground (Tempest's Room) Skills: N/A
Tempest had spent her time either hacking into HYDRA to provide SHIELD with as much info as they could use. She had found some juicy morsels for them, but so har HYDRA had been dealt a major blow to their funding. It didn't drown them, but they would feel the hurt and Tempest took some small satisfaction in helping.
She also took on odd jobs hacking corrupt businessmen and crooked politicians by leaking their info. She was careful not to let it get back to her in case someone found their way into SHIELD. Though if she couldn't do it before, she doubted anyone else can.
And while not doing that, she was playing Super Smash Bros against a bunch of useless noobs and roasting them alive. Who did she play as? Bayonetta of course. She loved a girl with guns.

@BlueSky44: ~will update the Quantum Realm once Blue returns~
@Kirah@Nallore: The kitchen is fairly quiet and uneventful for the moment. Most people had already gotten breakfast/lunch/whatever they liked to call their first meal of the day, so it would be a few hours before the place got busy. Nothing seems to be out of the ordinary, but among the leftovers Cass will find a box of cookies with Clint's name on them. Mm, they smell good, too.
@FantasyChic: In the hangar, Tinley has likely found just about the closest thing to peace and quiet. No one generally tends to go in there, unless they're stocking up and resupplying for a mission. But since Clint is off base for the day and they haven't gotten any intel, there isn't much of a reason for anyone to go and bother her.
As for Tempest, she will get an alert pinged to her that a proximity sensor went off outside of the Playground. For an underground base, it's more or less only able to be entered through a secret entrance above ground. She has the option to pull up a visual feed, which will show an image of this man. Facial recognition software identifies him as Casper Xavier Theriot. He has a minor criminal record, mostly drug related charges (possession and use, not distribution). It has a mutation on record as well, though it does not describe what it is exactly. At any rate, he seems to just be a harmless druggie.
Dominika Novikova
Location: The Playground - Shooting Range Skills: Metal Bending
Novikova blushed slightly as Maria complimented her hair. "Thanks - realized silver hair sticks out... Especially with all of the hate going around lately," she said with a bit of a thin smile. Tensions between mutants and humans were continuing to rise. Mutates and inhumans had an easier time of it, mostly because there were less of them and the ones that the public knew about tended to be high profile, like the Avengers. It was all too easy, on the other hand, to find a mutant criminal and point to them as a symbol. The Brotherhood helped loads with that.
"Yeah, maybe - might just be having an off day," Novikova said, holding her hand out. The air seemed to shimmer around the arrowhead, but it didn't move at all and instead, Novikova got a splitting headache for a second. It then faded away and she grimaced. "Maybe I should give it a rest for now, try again later..." Her words then trailed off as Maria brought up Sparky and Raynor. Truthfully, she only really cared about Sparky's survival. Raynor was more of an added bonus that she could live a full and happy life without, but she knew how important he was to Theresa.
"...I'm fine," she said, looking away.
Bonnie Chase
Location: The Playground - Bio-Engineering and Research Skills: N/A
"Mhmm," Bonnie replied, holding her head still. She kept on having to click and refocus the lens, as it was having a lot of trouble getting the contrast correct with the terrigen crystals. Of course, they looked more like dust or powder in this form but under the microscope, the crystalline structure was visible again. "Honestly, we ought to bring in an expert on materials on this," Bonnie mused. Unfortunately, they didn't have as many people left in S.H.I.E.L.D. as they would have liked. Bonnie's specialty was biochemistry, for example, and here she was, studying metals.
However, once she had the Raman focused, she set it up so it began to collect data. Standing up straight, she turned and looked at Harry. A bit of her felt guilty about the loss of his hand - but they all had lost things during their time at S.H.I.E.L.D. She had lost her husband. And every time she looked at Flynn, she felt a little bit of that guilt. It helped when he was shirtless, as she had a harder time thinking about James and the vows they had made to each other.
"It's against protocol to eat in the lab - especially when terrigen dust is around, you know," Bonnie pointed out to Harry, rolling her eyes a bit. "And I know that you know since I have on record that you passed your laboratory safety training quiz... So come on, either spit out the burrito or go to the kitchen." Sure, there were people on the team that wouldn't care if food was consumed in the lab - but Bonnie wasn't here to mess around. Dangerous substances meant no burritos.
She was a bit unsettled by the fact that they were still stuck within the Quantum Realm. It made her wonder if SHIELD had just sort of forgotten about them, not really caring if they were still trapped or not, though she supposed that wouldn't really surprise her that much. After all, the Wasp had been trapped for years in the Quantum Realm, and from what she knew, people stopped looking for her a while ago. She didn't like the idea of giving up hope that someone would get them out, but still, they were stuck and there was nothing at all that they could do about it.
Hearing Raynor call her Lana again really made her wonder. She was a bit curious about who Lana was, and why he felt the need to call her that really, but she just went with it, it was probably better not to ask. Sparky gave him a smile when he mentioned she can zap things, which was basically the only thing she could do, she didn't have much with her at all. "Of course, what else could I do?" she asked with a bit of a laugh, "Let's get going then if you think we should get out of here."
Frederick Flynn
Location: The Playground - Lower Level - Gym Skills: N/A
Flynn was down in the gym, lifting some weights at the moment. He was glad to be by himself for the moment, since it did give him some time to think. Not to mention if he burst into flames suddenly, he wouldn't accidentally hurt someone or something. He also was working out shirtless, since if he did catch fire, then at least he wouldn't have to go on a scavenger hunt for a new one. That was getting a bit on the ridiculous side, that much was for certain, and annoying. He was starting to wonder if they were holding off on finding a fire proof material he could use for a shirt on purpose.
After a few more minutes, a took several deep breaths, setting the weights down as he went over to a water bottle that he had in the room with him. Taking a long drink from it, he contemplated putting his shirt back on and going off to find Bonnie. He wasn't too sure what she was doing, but he was pretty sure he knew where she likely would be. Somewhere up by the labs most likely, so he set his bottle down and grabbed his shirt, hoping not to cause something to burst into flames.
It had been an eventful few days given everything that had happened. Bonnie was in the laboratory at the Playground, cataloguing everything they had. Fortunately, they had been able to make contact with other remaining S.H.I.E.L.D. teams and thanks to Tempest and the Communications Team, their location was secure. "And one vial of Isotope E..." Bonnie murmured, picking up the thick crate. It was covered in insulating material that had been designed in an effort to stop gamma radiation (it couldn't, but it turned out it did a great job with Isotope E). She placed it in the secure safe of the lab and locked it up firmly.
Flynn walked into the room, and saw Bonnie there. He smiled slightly, before he wandered over to her, "Hey there Agent Chase, how are you doing?" he asked her.
Bonnie glanced up from what she was doing, wearing a crisp lab coat. It wasn't covered in stains like they normally were. She doubted that would last a week though. "I'm fine, just doing paperwork - yourself?"
"Nothing too much... Got a bit bored, so I thought I'd check to see how you are doing..."
"I haven't managed to find a material yet that will handle your powers," Bonnie said, setting down the files she had been using. "Everything so far has melted when at that temperature... Or exploded."
"Right, sorry about that... Just never expected to have that sort of problem where I might basically burn my clothes and destroy them with fire by accident. Never really seemed to be that big of an issue."
Bonnie picked up a document and pretended to study it intently. "Of course, destroying your clothes never really was an issue... More of a benefit..." she mused, tempted to add something else. There was a bit of color in her cheeks.
Flynn grinned slightly at that, "Guess that is one way of putting things, guess it just depends on your perspective."
"Mhmm," Bonnie said, putting down the form. Her eyes the went over to her medical kit. "Have you had a physical yet?" she then asked him. "It's probably a good idea - latent X-gene's can be finicky."
"Yeah, nope. Haven't had a physical of any sort yet," he said with a slight smirk at her and a shrug. "Guess I haven't gotten around to getting one."
"I can go and get someone, if you'd like," Bonnie offered. She imagined that he would want a male to do the physical. Most were more comfortable with people of the same gender.
"Well, why can't you do it?"
"You want me to give you a physical?" Bonnie asked, raising an eyebrow. "Are you hitting on me, Agent Flynn? Since that would be highly unethical."
"I wouldn't say that, it isn't exactly that bad of an idea, just would mean you wouldn't have to go find someone else to do it, and you have the skills or something like that for it, so why the hell not?"
"You are something else, Agent Flynn," Bonnie said, shaking her hands slightly. She went over to the sink in the laboratory and washed her hands thoroughly, before putting on a pair of purple latex gloves. They were all out of her favorite ones - a sort of lime-neon green. "You can sit on the bench top," she said, nodding at the large lab set up. There was a free spot where Flynn could be examined.
"Oh really?" he said with a slight smirk, before he went and sat down where Bonnie had told him to.
She wrapped the blood pressure cuff around his arm and secured it, using it in combination with the stethoscope. Her fingers were on his wrist, measuring his pulse. "Just stay still."
"Alright, whatever you say Chase," he said, holding still, at least mostly. He was looking at her still, and he couldn't stop smiling.
Bonnie marked down the results, taking the blood pressure cuff off of him and she then grabbed the otoscope. She first checked out his ears, before she held it in front of him. "Follow the light, please," she said, moving it slowly from side to side.
He looked at the bright light in front of him, and started following it with his eyes, having no problems doing so. This was a little boring, but hey, at least in his mind he was lucky he hadn't burst into flame yet. That would probably cause problems in the long run. She then put the device down, pulling down on his eyes slightly and continuing to examine him, eventually moving her hands to his neck and feeling his lymph nodes. Bonnie then hesitated, turning a bit red. She had to check the nodes in the groin area next.
"Something wrong?" he asked her simply.
"I can't do the next part of the physical with you smiling like a dumbass," Bonnie muttered, clearly flustered. "I need to check the nodes near your groin."
"Alright, I get it," he responded, shaking his head slightly as his smile vanished. This sort of thing wasn't new to him.
Bonnie quickly did that part of the exam, relieved when it was over. They still hadn't talked about what had happened for the mission at Creed Financial and Bonnie wasn't going to bring that up, especially not now. She then grabbed his arm and started checking it over, finding nothing wrong and she grabbed the stethoscope again, walking up behind him and pressing it onto his back. "Breathe deeply."
Flynn nodded, taking a deep breath for her. He was staying remarkably calm, though that might also be because he was trying to keep the fire from popping up. Something like that could end horribly if he wasn't careful, and he really needed to see if he could start working on training in the use of his powers. Though that might have to wait a little bit, at least until he had less flammable clothing. His mind wandered towards what had happened before the mission, and he couldn't help but smile slightly at the memory.
"Good," Bonnie said, walking around again and she pressed the stethoscope up against his heart.
"So, found any problems yet? Or is my only problem at the moment being that I have to stop wearing my favorite clothes for fear of them burning up?"
"Well," Bonnie said, taking a step backwards. "You'll need to up your caloric intake considerably. If you don't, you'll start experiencing dizziness, nausea, fatigue, and headaches when using your abilities. I need to examine your abdominals now, lie down please."
"Right, good to know that," he said with a slight grin, before he laid down.
"I don't see why you're smiling, I'm just listening for bowel sounds now," Bonnie said bluntly, smirking ever so slightly as she moved his shirt up to reveal his abs. Her eyes lingered for a moment before she pressed the stethoscope down and started listening.
"Hey, you are the one who seems to be the one who has problems with that. I know what your doing, this isn't the first time I've had a physical Agent Chase."
"Do you always smile during them?" Bonnie asked. She then started feeling around, ensuring that everything was in order and finding nothing wrong, Bonnie stood back up to her full height and grabbed a tiny hammer. "Time to test your reflexes." She was a little bit concerned this would cause him to explode into flames.
"I smile a lot anyway, try not to have a bleak out look on things, a smile tends to make things better in my opinion. You never know what could happen," he said, nodding slightly when she mentioned testing his reflexes.
Bonnie nodded, lightly tapping his knee with the hammer. The instant she did, he burst into flames, though he was trying really hard to not cause too much damage. After a few moments from the sudden burst of flames, the fire died down, and he looked over at Bonnie. His pants were perfectly fine, his shirt however was another story. It was completely gone. "Are you okay? Sorry!" he said instantly, looking at her.
"I'm fine," Bonnie said. She took off her gloves and tossed them in the trash. "From what I can tell, you are perfectly healthy - struggling with abilities is normal so soon after gaining them."
"You sure? Sorry, um... Didn't expect that to happen... At all..." He was still a little concerned about that. "Guess it is just something I've got to get used to... That and apparently constantly losing my shirt because of fire."
"Really, I'm fine," she reassured him, sitting down on one of the desks.
"Okay, if you're sure..." he said, nodding his head slightly. He still did not like the idea of possibly bursting into flames randomly like that, it was starting to get really annoying.
"...Is there anything else you need?"
"..Besides needing a new shirt? Not really sure..."
She rolled her eyes at him. "I'm sure you can find a new shirt in supply."
"Oh, probably," he said, smiling at her now.
Bonnie raised an eyebrow at him. "What?"
"Oh, nothing, nothing at all."
"Alright, well, I have to finish cataloguing everything... So I'll see you later, then."
Flynn nodded for a moment, before he decided something else. Instead of wandering away, he walked right up to Bonnie, and kissed her. Pulling away, he smiled at her, "Stuff like that just sounds so boring though."
Bonnie's heart was pounding as she stared at him, her lips tingling from the kiss. She swallowed slightly, trying to compose herself slightly. "Very boring," she practically whispered.
"So..." he said with a smile, looking at her still, "I guess I'll leave you to the most boring work ever..."
"Alright, Agent Flynn..." Bonnie said.
"...You know, you don't have to call me agent or whatever... Just call me Flynn or something since my first name is a bit of a mouthful..."
"Says the man who never calls me anything but Agent Chase."
"Do you want me to call you Bonnie then instead?"
Bonnie nodded at him. "I'd like that, Flynn."
"Alright, Bonnie it is then."
Bonnie looked at him for a moment, before she stood up on her toes and kissed him. He returned the kiss, before pulling away from her slightly and smiling at her. He wasn't generally one to have any sort of relationship with anyone that he technically works with, but being around Bonnie made him happy. It didn't matter if he had just nearly burned her by accident, what mattered most was being with her, right now.
"There. Now we're even with surprise kisses," Bonnie said, walking back over to the desk and grabbing the stack of paperwork she needed to finish.
"If you say so Bonnie," he said with a slight smirk.
"Unless you want to help organize micropipette tips by size and shape, go," Bonnie said, shooing him away slightly.
"Alright alright, I can take a hint, I need to go get a new shirt anyway," he said, before he headed for the door.
Cassandra was looking around, before spotting a container of cookies with Hawkeye's name on them, she was just about to open up the container when she jumped slightly when Niah came up to her. She closed her eyes a little bit and sighed slightly to herself and gave Niah a slight smile. "The upgrades are great, just finished checking the software stuff making sure it was still in working order." She said towards her as she snatched up one of the cookies. One wasn't going to be missed anyway, and she was pretty sure Hawkeye wouldn't really pay that much attention to one being taken.
"How are you doing by the way?" Cassandra asked as she took a bite out of the cookie, and then moved the container over towards Niah offering her one. "Just don't tell Hawkeye." She said as she grabbed some random left overs out of the fridge and then started to put it inside of the microwave and started to heat it up.
Harry McCormick

"Oh, c'mon how long have we known each other Bonnie? But alright since you are the boss and its your lab anyway." Harry said, and sighed as he quickly ate down the rest of it, and then threw the empty plate away as he swallowed down the rest of the burrito that he had eaten. He then leaned back in the chair as he watched her looking down at the microscope. He of course did know better taking some of the classes back at the Academy as well.
"So, need any help?" Harry offered, he figured he could at least make himself somewhat useful while he was in the lab anyway. Harry then stood up and stretched slightly, as much as he hated terrigen now at this point he didn't want to make any sort of contact with the stuff. And he would probably end up having to use some kind of hazmat suit if he ever did want to handle the stuff now that it was also a powdery dust to.
Maria Smith
Location: The Playground - Shooting Range Skills: N/A
"You would look perfectly fine with silver hair as well." Maria said smiling towards Novikova as she watched her try and practice a little bit. But it seemed like it wasn't working this time, at least she did try and figured that her girlfriend was a bit tired as well. She then bit her bottom lip as she brought up the sore subject, and rubbed the back of her neck slightly Maria didn't want to make things awkward then they already were at this point either.
"Say, why don't we take a break maybe head out for a few?" Maria offered. "That's if Tinley or Cass allow it anyway." She said shrugging a little bit, since Hawkeye was off base right now, and they didn't have any missions right now at the moment either so they had the rest of the day for the time being anyway. "Or we can find something else to do on base?"
Location: Cargo Hold Trainng Ground Skills: Hand-to-Hand Combat, Force Field Generation
Tinley appreciated the alone time. Not being bothered by anyone. As much as she enjoyed the work, the leadership role, it weighed on her heavily. She knew she had people looking up to her, people upset with her. Niah, for one. She felt the girl could be trusted until she decided to pick up those earplugs. It was a small slap to her face that she wasn't trusted. She knew she mind controlled Novikova, but with good intention and she would not do such unless it was called for. And Novi was safe. Even if Sparks wasn't.
And that pissed her off too because she was partly to blame for that. She hit the dummy a few more times before she formed a shield around it. At first, it dissipated. Then she got a hold and picked the dummy up, holding it above her. Then she sent it smashing against the wall with a scream. She was frustrated, pissed, angry, and upset. A not-so-good combination of things. She wanted a mission. Desperately, to get her mind off things. She wanted this Quantum Realm business done and over with.

Tempest nearly fell out of her chair when the alert sounded. She had helped add extra security measures to the Playground, but hadn't expected much to show up yet. One look at the camera showed her a man. He was cute too, which means he was probably gay. Still, he shouldn't be there. She opened up the communication system and spoke though the microphone attached. It would sound like a loud, booming voce much like the Wizard of Oz.
"Who dares intrude upon the Old Wise One? Have you come with an offering of 20 virgins? Or perhaps the blood of a newborn babe? Or the latest iPhone since I cannot seem to get my hands on one. Get it? Cuz I have no hands? Ah tough crowd. Anywho, WHO ARE YOU MORTAL AND WHY DO YOU DISTURB ME SO?"
Tempest patted herself on the back. Job well done, thus far.

@Kirah@Nallore: Oh microwaves, so much fun! As Cass puts the left overs inside the microwave and begins to heat them up, it seems that the setting was off or something as the food begins to splatter everywhere inside of the microwave. It's going to be a disgusting mess to clean up, especially in a communal space. But hey, it could have been worse!
@FantasyChic: "...I've been eating speed for the past three days and every time I close my eyes I see centipedes..." Casper mumbled to himself. He glanced around, seemingly staring at nothing as he had a bit of a heated conversation with... no one. Huffing a bit, Casper turned back around, looking around in circles. "Look, if you are a god... How about we just go our separate ways? If you want to fight someone, then maybe try my brothers. They love that stuff! I'm Casper, by the way. Casper Xavier Theriot, it's lovely to meet you...It really is."
Tinley is clear to proceed - nothing noteworthy happens and no one will intrude on her.
Dominika Novikova
Location: The Playground - Shooting Range Skills: N/A
Novikova hesitated, glancing around the room for a moment. She knew that Tempest had surveillance everywhere on base - it was to protect them, but it meant that what Novikova had decided to tell Maria couldn't be shared here. Dominika then looked back at her girlfriend. She gently put a hand on the fabric of Maria's sleeve, the closest thing to contact that the two of them could get. "Yeah, let's go off base for a while," Novikova said.
She then leaned in, her hair blocking her lips from view of the security cameras. "I think I have a way to rescue them - but it stays between us for now, okay?" she whispered softly. She felt that she could trust Maria with this, but she didn't know about the others in the base. Tinley had stopped her from helping Sparky the first time and she wasn't about to give Agent Abercrombie another chance to doom her friend. She had had to go to Sparky's funeral and it was killing her on the inside, knowing that there was a chance she could still be alive.
"I can take you to see it..."

"Long enough to know that you'll come in here and eat food again anyways, and then I'll have to scold you for it, and you'll ask me that question again, and we'll be stuck in this endless cycle," Bonnie pointed out to Harry. She rolled her eyes as instead of spitting out the food or getting rid of it, he finished eating. It was the opposite of lab safety and had it not been so recent, she might have pointed out that his robot hand wasn't helping his case that he was safe and responsible. He had had a real hand up until recently, after all.
She then shook her head slightly, letting the Raman do its thing. "No - workload is pretty light at the moment. If you want, you can try to find a material that'll keep Flynn from bursting his shirt into flames. Everything we've tried so far has given him bad chaffing or rashes," she explained. She glanced away from Harry as she talked about Flynn and his shirt problem. It felt weird, liking someone else even though her husband was long dead. She and Flynn weren't even an item - but there were still times where she wondered if James would be mad at her. Would he have wanted her to move on?
"I've been trying to get Fury to give me access to some of the clothing samples we got from Luminous - but no luck there. It's too bad, since whatever material she used probably would work for Flynn..."
Raynor Blake
Location: the Quantum Realm Skills: N/A
Raynor nodded, giving Sparky a smile. He hadn't registered that he had called her Lana - and it was probably for the best that she hadn't asked, as he wouldn't have told her. She wasn't ready for that information yet. It would bring on too much all at once - to know more about who she was and who her family was... He wanted to give her time to just be Sparky. To be free of life changing and potentially threatening secrets. "How many, Janet?" Raynor asked.
"Just two," the Wasp said. There was a bit of distance between them as the creatures came into view. Imagine giant hairy spiders. And then make them even more terrifying. That was essentially what the trio was looking at. Raynor coughed, blood coming up but he quickly hid it. He pulled his dagger, Lyting, and was so happy he hadn't lost it yet.
"I got the big one," he said, trying not to sound too weak.
"No, I do," the Wasp said, not having any time for his need to be manly as she calmly walked forward, weapon at the ready.
"No thank you, I just ran and eating right after running is always a little annoying." She grabbed some towels and handed them to Cass to clean up the mess in the microwave. "That's good to hear though. I'm glad the upgrades are working. Don't particularly want HYDRA to waltz in here." She finished her glass of water, washed it, placed it in the drying rack and waved bye to Cass. "See you later."
She let out a small sigh as she exited the kitchen, her skin felt like it was crawling even though she hadn't touched the food mess that Cass had made. Niah needed a shower anyway from her run and went to her room to do just that.
Location: The Playground - Dining/kitchen -> Technology Skills:
Cassandra nodded slightly, as she took one more cookie before putting the container back in the corner that she had found it in, hopefully he wouldn't notice that she took two of his cookies. She then let out a very loud and rather annoyed groan as she could easily hear her food starting to pop, and splatter inside of the microwave. "Damnit." Cass muttered to herself as she looked towards Niah as she got her some towels and nodded towards her friend and smiled slightly. "Thank you." Cassandra said as she opened up the microwave and pulled out what would have been her lunch completely ruined.
"See you around Niah." Cassandra said as she watched her walk off, the base wasn't really that big as she took the towels that Niah had grabbed for her and started to pull out the cooking plate and whipped that down. Once that was cleaned Cassandra then started to wipe down the rest of the inside of the microwave. Tossing the paper towel away, as well as her lunch into the trash can, Cassandra then decided to just make herself a simple sandwich. She then made her way over towards the Technology department again, just to monitor the cameras for now there wasn't much excitement going on at the very moment.

"Party pooper." Harry said jokingly as he looked towards Bonnie and nodded slightly towards her, the guy's shirt did always find it's way to burn up whenever he went 'flame on' in front of everyone. "I'll see what I can cook up that he doesn't get an allergic reaction to any of the materials, or so that it doesn't chafe him to much." Harry said, though he was pretty sure that Bonnie didn't mind it whenever it did happen. He was close friends with Bonnie's late husband, he looked towards her for a moment before going back to sitting down and thought for a moment.
"Ever think of maybe contacting Reed Richards maybe? Since I believe he made the Fantastic Four's clothes, he could send some specs over to try and recreate it or something? It would make my life easier than having to figure out and making materials from scratch again." Harry suggested, he figured that maybe they would be willing to help out in some way and then looked towards her. "Though you do like seeing him shirtless to." Harry decided to tease her a little bit in a friendly way and he was sure that James would have wanted her to move on at some point as well to.
Maria Smith
Location: The Playground - Shooting Range Skills: N/A
Maria looked towards Novikova when she agreed to go with her off base for a bit, feeling her gently gripping the fabric of her shirt one of the major issues with her powers, she wasn't allowed to make any kind of skin contact with anyone or anything. But she was lucky that Novikova still agreed to go out with her, and gave her a slight smile. Then she was surprised that Novikova said she had a way to get her friend Sparky and Ray out of the Quantum Realm as well. Maria could understand that she whispered and hid her face with her hair when she said that.
"I'm on board with you, I did promise to help out whichever way I could." Maria whispered back to Novikova blocking her mouth with her hair a bit as well when she said that. The only problem was getting out of the Playground without being seen by everyone, and then thought for a bit. "Could take one of those stealth suits if you want." Maria suggested, she did genuinely want to help get their two agents out of there as well, even if it did mean that they could get into some serious trouble as well.
"W-W-Why did it h-h-have to be spiders," she said instantly, starting to panic slightly now. Sparky was freaking out, even more so than she was before. She had gotten used to being stuck in the Quantum Realm, so she wasn't freaking out over that any more at least. Still, she did have a major fear of spiders, and it was horrible for her to basically be stuck there, and still having to worry about the damn arachnids. Her hair started sticking out at odd angles slightly, from the built up charge of her panicking.
She figured that she might at least try to help out, and she sent an electrical charge at one of the giant spiders. That was when this really became her worst nightmare, as the spider seemed to almost double in size, growing even bigger. She made a sort of weak little cry, freaking out. Not even caring really anymore about trying to hurt the things since she seemed to make things worse, she hid behind Raynor, grabbing onto him slightly as she panicked. Unfortunately, as her hair obviously showed, she had a little bit of an electrical charge, and accidentally ended up zapping him slightly. "S-S-Sorry," she stammered out, kind of hiding behind him.
Frederick Flynn
Location: The Playground - Lower Level - Gym Skills: N/A
Flynn was basically finished downstairs in the Gym, not too sure what else to really do. He put his shirt back on and grabbed his water bottle, before standing up and going to see if he could find Bonnie. She was probably up in the labs or something, he just hoped he didn't end up having to wander back to his room to find a shirt again. Since that would likely just cause major problems, him walking around shirtless since his body decided to catch on fire.
He headed upstairs, and eventually heard voices coming from the Bio-Engineering area, and he walked into the room. He basically ignored Harry, not really caring at all that he was in the room. "Hey there Bonnie," he said with a grin, before for what felt like the one hundredth time, Flynn's shirt burst into flames and basically got turned to ash. "Well this is awkward... Um, you wouldn't by chance be having any luck finding something that isn't, you know, flammable?"
This certainly wouldn’t be the first time that Conrad Wu would be one of those. He has spent most of his childhood being the new boy. Hell he even made his bones in the police as the new blood in whatever gang he had been tasked with infiltrating. No this certainly wouldn’t be the first time for him but this time may certainly be the most pivotal.
He had heard whispers and rumours about the Barton unit from his compatriots at S.H.I.E.L.D. The members of this team were the truest of the true; the very essence of what it meant to be an agent of SHIELD. Everyone brought something to the team that would be useful in their fight for justice. Conrad was unsure why he himself had been recruited. He was a fair operational hand sure but his talent was in the long game, infiltration and intelligence. Hell he has spent the last few months in deep cover and was looking forward to a bit of rest before he got the call to report immediately to the Playground. He couldn’t lie, the place was nothing like he expected. Well, if he was perfectly honest Conrad actually didn’t know what he expected. If the organisation was struggling for funding, this place certainly didn’t show it.
The plan was never to save the world. It just so happened that all of Conrad’s talents and passions made it the easiest thing for him to turn his focus towards. If his parents had had their way, Agent Wu would be knee deep in history books teaching at some stuffy school like Eton or Oxford. That would never have been enough for him, Conrad craved more than that, much more. He craved adventure, fun, danger and everything in between. The world was a stage and he wanted to have a major part in that production; that was just something he couldn’t do sitting behind a desk.
Conrad was so entranced by his new surrounds that the velvety tones of Phil Collins - You Can’t Hurry Love playing in his earbuds was nothing short of background noise. ”Honey, I’m home” He muttered to himself as a pearly white grin crossed his handsome face. He did not know what the future held for him as part of this group, would he be accepted? Would he be liked? Would he die his first go round with these guys and prove to the world that all he’s good for his a smile and a lie? He didn’t know but he couldn’t wait to find out.
Location: Cargo Hold Trainng Ground -> Playground Skills: N/A
Satisfied that she gave the training dummy (and all surrounding breakable things) a run for their money, Tinley toweled herself off and walked back to her room to take a quick shower and get dressed before she met with the new guy. She quickly put on her best looking SHIELD uniform, checking herself out in the mirror. Satisfied she looked the part she quickly made her way to where the guy was waiting.
She had formed her opinions about him based on what she read in his file. He was older than her, which gave her some sense of pride. He worked with the police in Hong Kong and the Metropolitan police departments. She knew China was no joke with law enforcement so that put a check in the positive column. He was Operations, like her, and all reports showed good things, but she would see what he was like.
She came to their meeting place and saw him waiting. She joined him, holding out her hand. "Agent Wu? Tinley Abercrombie, Field Team leader. Follow me and we will begin the briefing before taking a tour of the Playground and I show you to your facilities." Tinley would turn and start walking, expecting Conrad to follow. "Any preliminary questions before we get started?"
Tempest Renroir
Location: The Playground (Tempest's Room) Skills: N/A
Tinley cackled at the result of her admittedly clever prank. If the man was truly on speed, it made some sense he wouldn't be phased by a talking voice with no physical manifestation. Or he was pulling her leg. Either way, she may as well make the most of it. "Fear not, mortal, for I am a benevolent god. I've no interest in fighting you. You intrigue me, mortal, and you must answer my questions. What brings you here to this of all places?"
Tempest had to wonder why a seemingly innocuous man was walking around where they were supposed to be out of the public eye. Was he running from something? Or running to? Either way, she needed to press him for information before she decided if she should bring him in or not. For all she knew, he was HYDRA.
The Playground - Location Classified: October 24th, 2020 - 1:45 P.M.
@Kirah: When Niah returns to her room, nothing will seem out of place at first. However, she will eventually notice a small little postcard set down on her nightstand. The postcard is clearly vintage and there doesn't seem to be anything written on it, with the exception of a date - March 5th, 1984. The most alarming thing about that, of course, is that Niah will recognize the handwriting. It's her own. And she has never before seen this postcard in her life. The writing itself is faded, enough that it even looked like someone had written that on the date indicated and somehow, it had found its way into her bedroom.
@BrutalBx@FantasyChic: Feel free to proceed, you two! Nothing evil from the dice yet!
@FantasyChic@Nallore: From Cass' position in Technology, she also will be able to see the guy hovering around outside. Of course, since she isn't in Tempest's room, she doesn't get nearly as much information displayed on him. Her computer does run facial recognition, but just pulls up the following name: C. Xavier-Theriot. It doesn't even give a full first name, criminal record, or anything like that. She will be able to also hear Tempest messing with the poor guy.
"Hey, did I ever tell you about the time I waxed my ass with chocolate pudding?" Casper said, as if he was talking to someone just a few feet away from him but there was nothing there. He then gasped slightly, pointing into space and he turned, somehow managing to look straight into the camera. "I'm sorry, my brother is normally not that vulgar. Being dead has not done wonders for his sense of humor... I love you still though!"
He then shook his head slightly, clasping his hands together. "Can I call you Betty? All Powerful God seems a bit... tacky," Casper mused. "But Betty, my dear, I am here because I need to pee."
Dominika Novikova
Location: The Playground - Shooting Range Skills: N/A
Novikova nodded - Maria was right. The stealth suits would be a good idea. She had been making trips out of the Playground by herself and had managed to not be caught so far, but with the two of them leaving, it might draw more attention. She really didn't want Tempest to hack their phones and send them angry messages asking what they were doing and why they were keeping it a secret from everyone else. She didn't like lying to people she considered friends - but this was the only way that they could get Raynor and Sparky home. She knew it from the bottom of her heart.
"I think those are in technology right now," Novikova whispered. She was trying to think who to expect in there. Agent Chase wouldn't be there - she specialized more in squishy things. Harry was a possibility, as was Cass and Tempest. Everyone else that came to mind she doubted would be in technology. And if they were to take two suits...
"Do you think we can get them without anyone noticing?" Novikova asked Maria. This sort of thing fell under the expertise of those trained in Operations.
Bonnie Chase
Location: The Playground - Bio-Engineering and Research Skills: N/A
"Someone has to be a party pooper around here," Bonnie said with a shrug. If everyone was all fun and games and no rules, then they'd both get nothing done and likely end up dead. She knew that a lot of agents had been lost in HYDRA's uprising - she didn't want to see a return to that number of fatalities. She liked having her friends and colleagues living and breathing - rather than ending up on the table for her to perform an autopsy. It always was both tragic and awkward when she had to do that. "But actually, no, I haven't... Maybe I'll give him a call, do you think we have his private number in our files?" Bonnie asked. She doubted that it would just be obtainable from a simple Google search.
She felt the heat of Flynn's flames before she spotted him come into the room. Her eyes swept over his chest for a moment before she looked up at his face, trying to hide the blush on her cheeks. "Not yet," Bonnie admitted. There wasn't really anything in the lab she could give him, but they did have supposedly flame proof lab coats so she grabbed one and tossed it to him. "If you can handle looking like a nerd, we can see if that works for now. Harry's on the case however."
She bit the inside of her cheek, hoping that she still seemed professional. Even though Flynn had kissed her during the heist on Creed Financial, they hadn't really discussed it or anything like that.
Raynor Blake
Location: the Quantum Realm Skills: Jack of All Trades (Bladed Weapons)
Raynor grunted slightly as Sparky shocked him. He didn't even have a moment to be impressed or wonder how the spider like creature had doubled in size when she zapped it. "I'm okay," he muttered. He could taste something metallic in his mouth - blood? He wasn't even sure anymore. His vision had briefly doubled, before it resolved itself.
The Wasp, meanwhile, was having no trouble with her monster. She expertly zipped around it, looking almost like an adult fairy, and she skewered it with her weapon. The limbs splayed out as it fell to the ground and Janet tugged her weapon out. "Theresa, it's just a quantum beast - nothing to be afraid of," the Wasp called out. "And besides - we now have food for dinner. I cannot remember the last time we ate..."
"Somehow, I doubt you'll enjoy that," Raynor quipped slightly to Sparky.
Raynor took Lyting, his dagger, and he threw it at the second monster - the one Sparky had caused to double in size. His aim was as good as it could get, hitting the creature and the beast fell to the ground near the second one. Holding out his hand, the dagger then flew back to his grip and had he not felt so worn out and exhausted, he would have smiled.
Cassandra took a moment and pulled up a seat and looked over at the cameras, as she took a bite of her sandwich she stopped and looked up at one of the cameras in front of her. She started to groan to herself as Tempest was tormenting or messing with the druggie in the camera, she looked at the facial recognition screen. Only had a name on the screen currently which bothered her a bit, Tempest probably had more information on him since she had her own little setup as far as she could tell. Then he started to talk about waxing his ass with chocolate pudding, which Cassandra really did not need to know and wished she didn't hear that either.
Then he looked directly up at the camera, naming Tempest's voice Betty she started to think that maybe he was a possible HYDRA spy of some kind. Cassandra wasn't really to sure, but she really wasn't going to take any chances, he would have to be dealt with as she started to think how to. Cassandra stopped for a moment as she started to hear some footsteps coming up to the Technology wing, and looked over towards the door to see that it was just Maria.
Harry McCormick
Location: The Playground - Bio Engineering & Research -> Kitchen Skills: N/A
"I think we do, I can check out if we do and i'll see about trying to get a call to him." Harry said, as he took a moment and got up, when he heard Flynn's voice coming into the room. He stared at him for a moment as he spoke to Bonnie about his little shirt problem, when he suddenly lit himself on fire. Which made Harry quickly look away, he really did not want to see Flynn half naked in front of him, as he looked over towards Bonnie. "I'll get to looking into that now." Harry said as he started to get his things ready to get up and leave.
"And now if you excuse me i'm going to go gouge out my eyes, and pour bleach in my eye sockets. I'll get back to you if I find anything." Harry said, as he left Bio Engineering and started to think for a moment as he started to think where the files would be as he took a moment to stop in the kitchen and opened one of the cabinets and grabbed himself a glass and started to fill it up with some water.
Maria Smith
Location: The Playground - Shooting Range -> Technology Skills: N/A
Maria started to think for a moment looking over at Novikova a little bit as she thought who would be there, mostly Cass and Harry spent their time there. "Cass, and Harry usually spent the most time there, I don't know about Tempest though." Maria said, as she looked at her phone for a second and then over at her girlfriend. "Might want to turn off your phone and any apps that have GPS, and remove the SD card. Tempest or Cass might be able to track our phones that way. But I think we can get them without being noticed, just follow my lead." Maria knew a bit to try and remain off grid during her training, phones were a rather quick and easy way to track down someone.
Maria gave Novikova a slight smile as she started to leave the shooting range and started to make her way down the hallway she remained fairly calm and relaxed. She knew that the cameras were always on within the base as she took a moment and stood outside of the door of Technology when Cassandra was about to leave as well. "Sorry." Maria said as she took a step back and then looked up at her as Cass spoke. "Have you seen Tempest anywhere?" She asked Maria, and gave a slight shrug. "I don't know, maybe her room?" Maria suggested, Cassandra gave her a slight smile and nod. "Thanks, and can you do me a favor? And watch the cameras for me?" Cass asked, and Maria gave her superior a nod. "Sure thing Agent Reed."
Conrad took the blonde woman’s hand and shook it firmly. Field Leader? That was a turn up for the books. She seemed very young for that role but he was one to rarely question the decisions of his higher ups unless absolutely necessary so she must be damn skilled to get to where she was that’s for sure. This was an elite unit, the best of the best no doubt. He was looking forward to meeting everyone else and seeing what they brought to the table.
After giving Tinley the once over, Conrad had many questions but he knew one thing for sure, he still hates the S.H.I.E.L.D uniform. Even on some as beautiful as she was, it was still garish and not up to his high fashion standards. ”Only question is do I really have to wear that uniform?” a rhetorical and humorous question of course yet one that he wished would be answered with a resounding no.
Wu began to follow his fellow Agent deeper into the Playground; it was a marvel. He had been in some very big tech places over the past few years and in some very low tech ones as well but the Playground was something special. ”It strikes me that you probably run a very tight ship here. I’m not here to rock the boat, just to help out and do my part. What do I need to know?”
"Are you sure you're okay?" she asked Raynor again, before she made a sort of face at the Wasp for the comment she made about eating the creatures. There was one thing she knew for sure, and that was that there was no way in hell she was going to be eating spiders for food. No way, even if the things were dead, she just wanted to stay as far away from the arachnids as possible, and that definitely included with a passion not eating them! She actually looked like she might be sick at the thought of that.
"I am not eating those things, and you can't make me," she muttered, looking away from Raynor and the Wasp. She knew that survival was necessary, eat when you can and stuff like that, but still. There was no way anyone was going to make her eat a spider, she had arachnophobia of sorts, so spiders really freaked her out, and considering what her job was, it was a little pathetic that she was afraid of little spiders, but she couldn't help that.
Frederick Flynn
Location: The Playground - Bio-Engineering and Research Skills: N/A
"Hahaha, very funny Harry," he said with an eye roll as Harry left the area. The guy really could get on his nerves, that much was clear. Flynn didn't care much for him, but he was nice to Bonnie, so he could somewhat tolerate him, but that was about it. He wouldn't make any promises about liking the guy, tolerate yes, actually make friends with him or something like that? Hell no, was not happening at all, at least in his mind, the guy was annoying more than anything.
"And I think I can survive looking like a geek for a while. I mean, there isn't anything really wrong with it," he said with a slight smile at Bonnie as he took the lab coat and put it on. It definitely was better than nothing, not to mention maybe they'd get lucky and this thing would actually be able to withstand the flames, but that was really all he could hope for. "Anyway... How are you doing Bonnie?" he asked with a smile.
Niah came out of the bathroom and saw on her desk something she had not placed there. It was a postcard, of San Francisco. She flipped it over to see what it said, weirdly though in her own handwriting it had a date. She had never even been to California before. It clicked after a second that the date was in the past. Far enough in the past that she hadn't even been born yet. She frowned. This was weird. How had it gotten into her room? How had she written a date, that appeared its age, before she had even been born?
Niah removed her glove and touched the postcard hoping for a clue. It was disorienting. She could see herself writing on the postcard, a newspaper nearby had the same date. And even though she couldn't make out any other faces she knew that the clothes all made sense for 1984. She was shaking a bit as the vision ended. The question that stuck in her mind the most was how had the postcard gotten into her room. The cameras would have shown something, right?
Hoping to see something on the cameras Niah went into technology, holding the postcard. "Hey Maria, do you know how to look back on the cameras and see who has been in and out of my room in the last hour or so?"
Tinley had to admit the uniform was not the most flattering. But it was part of the job. "Necessary evil I'm afraid. Though I guess it depends on the mission. Undercover work is a big part of the job, I suppose. Either way, when around here, you are allowed to wear what you wish, but for official work, the uniform is a must."
Tinley proceeded into the Meeting Room, which would be unoccupied as they had no current mission. She gestured for a chair and sat at another one across from it. "I have read your file Agent Wu and I like what I see, but you will pardon us if we still have to be thorough. Mind telling me why you chose to join SHIELD? By all accounts, you were doing well for yourself in other jobs."
Tempest Renroir
Location: The Playground (Tempest's Room) Skills: N/A
Tempest was just having too much fun, though she should probably stop. But then again this guy seemed like some drug addict who wandered elsewhere to piss and stumbled upon them. "By all means, urinate to your heart's content mortal." The man spoke to someone else, his brother she wagered. Did he see spirits or was that part of the drugs too.
"Betty is my mother's name. Please, call me Princess Consuela Banana-Hammock if we are to use names. Tell me sugarpie, are you in need of assistance? Being all powerful and all knowing, I can easily find you a place to rest your head and find someone to talk to. If you want, of course. Far be it from me to let the fun die."
@Nallore: Harry would realize that most of the files would probably be up in Barton's office on the higher level of the Playground. While Barton wasn't really an office type, he did have one anyways from the job and he enjoyed the birds eye view it gave him. The television in the kitchen was on the news as well - announcing that Tony Stark and Pepper Potts had married in a quiet ceremony over the weekend. There's rumors that they are expecting a child together as well.
@FantasyChic: "Okay, fine, we aren't technically related but who else did I spend my summers with? Not my actual brothers - can you blame me though? Dave's mental and Jackie... Jackie was too good for us and you know it," Casper said, seemingly content on carrying on a full conversation with nothing. He did, however, turn his back to the camera and he started to just urinate in plain sight. "I hope you don't mind, your majesty, just doing a bit of watering here of your lovely garden!"
Dominika Novikova
Location: The Playground - Shooting Range -> Technology Skills: N/A
"Or I just turn my phone off and leave it in my room," Novikova pointed out. However, she did appreciate Maria's efforts to be thorough. And come to think on it, leaving it in her own room wasn't the best idea. Instead, Novikova took out her phone and she turned it off, powering it down completely. Glancing around, she then took the little metal batons she practiced with in the shooting range and she went over to the cubbies of sorts. Putting the batons away, she dropped her phone in there with them.
Following Maria to technology, Novikova found it suspiciously easy getting Cass to go someplace else. She wondered if there was something weird going on and that was why Cass was looking for Tempest, however. "Maybe now isn't a great time to move, if things are getting scrutinized heavily," Novikova pointed out quietly. If they were worried about their slightly odd behavior getting through before, now Novikova was paranoid that it would be even harder.
"It's your call - you're ops, after all." She was then incredibly glad she had been quiet as Niah walking into technology. She didn't want to drag Niah into this.
Bonnie Chase
Location: The Playground - Bio-Engineering and Research Skills: N/A
"See you later, Harry," Bonnie replied, waving at her friend as he left. She decided to ignore his comments about needing to bleach his eyes due to seeing Flynn shirtless. Bonnie had seen a fair number of shirtless guys in her time and there was definitely a scale of eye bleach to mentally photograph. Flynn was on the better side of the scale in her opinion. He wasn't too hairy and he had abs for days...
Her cheeks were still flushed, even as Flynn put the lab coat on. "I'm fine - been doing some work on the terrigen crystals," she explained. She tucked a bit of hair behind her ear, only for it to instantly pop out and fall in front of her face again. "So, um, did you need anything? Beyond a shirt, of course."
She knew she was rusty as hell when it came to flirting, but Bonnie felt a bit pathetic with this display. Maybe she should go and talk to Tinley about why Flynn hadn't asked her out yet. Sure, she was a bit conflicted and hesitant to date... but it had been seven years. She couldn't spend her entire life grieving over James. It was time to move on and she was ready to do so.
So why couldn't Flynn just ask her out already? What was stopping him?
Raynor Blake
Location: the Quantum Realm Skills: Knowledge of the Quantum Realm, Light Manipulation
"I'm fine," Raynor insisted. The sad thing was, he knew what was wrong with him. His father was the God of Light - he himself could manipulate and bend it. There was something off about this realm he found himself in, causing his cells to yearn for light to absorb. Sure, there was some but it wasn't right - it was as if he was incompatible with it. "But you know what'll make me feel better? If you eat," he pointed out.
"Just close your eyes when you eat," the Wasp recommended to Sparky. "Then you won't have to remember what you are eating could be classified as a spider." Janet got to work, cutting off pieces of "meat" from the carcass. She then waved Raynor over and he used his powers to roast the pieces. The air was then filled with the sweet, sweet aroma of roasted quantum monster.
The Wasp handed a leg to each of them, before taking a bite herself. "It makes me almost remember what chicken tastes like..."
Raynor then took a bite of his portion. "Janet - this is the best meal yet," he said with a bit of a crooked smile.
Location: The Playground - Technology -> (Outside of Tempest's room) Skills: N/A
Cassandra was grateful that Maria had agreed to watch after the cameras for a bit, she did find it a little bit weird that Maria and Novikova were both outside of technology. But she would have to find out later for now, she was a bit more worried about who Tempest was trolling outside of the Playground. It was a top secret SHIELD base after all, and they couldn't have someone come in at completely random for all she knew he was HYDRA scooping out the base for any kind of information on them. As Cassandra headed down the hallways of the Playground she stopped for a moment seeing Harry heading up the stairs to Barton's office.
She eventually found her way to the other wing of private rooms for the rest of the team's, Cassandra found Tempest's fairly easily as she leaned herself up against the door and knocked on Tempest's door. Hoping that she would open the door, maybe she was paranoid or not but the guy just felt suspicious to her. And started to think if he should be brought into the base for questioning. "Hey, Tempest wrap up that conversation, I don't have much information on him through the facial recognition system. Do you have any information about him?" Cassandra asked her.
Harry McCormick
Location: The Playground - Kitchen -> The Director's Office Skills: N/A
As Harry finished up drinking the rest of his water, his attention turned over towards the TV screen that was on, quietly grumbling to himself at the news. He certainly hated the Starks for taking his job from him, and still did but Harry was content now working with SHIELD even if it resulted in him losing his hand in the first place. He then quickly turned off the TV, as he started to think about where files would be held. Technology, maybe but most likely not either but then he did realize that Barton's office must have more information to begin with.
Harry walked past Cassandra and gave her a slight nod as he made his way up the flight of stairs, and then opened it up once he was inside Barton's office. Hawkeye didn't really use it to much anyway, as he looked over at the window for a moment, before starting to head over to search around the desk for any kind of files that he could get his hands on. Even though Harry didn't really like Flynn all that much, Harry wasn't that much of an ass and not let the man walk shirtless around constantly either.
Maria Smith
Location: The Playground - Technology Skills: N/A
Maria thought for a moment she wanted to help out, but so far nothing big has happened just yet around the base while looking over at her girlfriend. "Continue with the plan." Maria whispered back towards Novikova just as she heard Niah speaking up, turning over to look at her friend and gave her a slight smile. She wasn't sure why her friend wanted to look through the cameras around her room, there weren't any within the rooms themselves so she wasn't sure why.
"I'm not really sure to be honest, technology isn't really my area of expertise." Maria said, as she rubbed the back of her neck slightly as she tried to think of an idea to get her to either get the help she needed, or find on the camera's themselves. "Maybe, Harry, Cass or Tempest could help out. Whats up?" Maria asked, she did want to help but she also wanted to get out of the base and help out find Sparky and Ray for Novikova as well.
