Cassandra looked over at Roman over her shoulder, she wasn't sure why he wanted to stay behind, but they would really need him and his ability to manipulate tech. "We may need you i'm just saying." Cassandra whispered back towards him, but it was up to him if he wanted to join them, and started to move forward, seeing the silvery streak over the wall. She knew that it was Luminous over there most likely patrolling the area which would really make their job harder. Cassandra looked over towards Bonnie when she suggested what they could do, it was certainly way better and just hoping to simply walk through and pray that she doesn't notice them.
"Better than praying and just simply walking through and pray for the best." Cassandra said softly she then looked over towards Dr. Strange. "Happen to have any fancy ice spells in that Sorcerer Supreme arsenal of yours?" Cass asked softly, she didn't want to fight her, but she could change the season around the area to make it colder. "I've got nothing right now, anyone else have any kind of ideas?" She asked the others softly, if she had to stay behind to distract her she would.
Maria watched as Flynn knocked the girl over hitting the door frame nearby, wincing slightly as she watched the girl trying to breathe some kind of green smoke. She wasn't sure what that would even do if she made contact with it, Maria looked over at Raynor for a moment she wasn't going to try and touch her. "Just knock her out, and we can continue to move forward." Maria said, she could careless about the girl right now she worked for Ultron after all as well. She started to walk forward towards where Raynor was and took a look over at the girl on the floor.
She could hear over the radio that Captain Marvel and Spider-Gwen were encountering people on the upper floors, and started to quickly move towards the elevator. "I'm sure as hell am not touching whatever smoke she's breathing out either." Maria said, the girl did make a choice to help Ultron after all, even if she was asking for help she didn't trust the girl was probably acting as well.
Niah didn't hear any of what the group was saying since she was still focusing on her sight, but she was keeping an eye on Luminos. She hoped the group saw her warning or noticed the blue streak on their own. Niah hated Luminose and could tell the more she saw the woman the angrier she felt. At least it seemed they hadn't been spotted by her. Now if they just kept quiet and could get past her then they could probably get out of there before they were noticed. Niah certainly hoped so. She didn't want to fight Luminose again. Someone always died when they did.
Not that Niah wouldn't be perfectly happy filling Luminose with ICER juice. She looked back at the group trying to see what they had decided to do. She dropped the focus on her heightened sense "Sorry if I missed any important information, I was focusing on sight and couldn't hear." She said in the barest of whispers. "What is the plan?"

Tinley expected some clapback for her "no-kill policy" but to that end, she knew she was in the right. She was not a killer. If she had killed before, it was out of survival and necessity. She wasn't anti-violence, she knew in this line of work she would be asked to do such things and she was ok with it. She was not, however, ok with harming a young girl, Ultron influencer or not, who was now unarmed and unable to do anything.
Tinley walked up to the girl, seeing her slowly dying on the ground. She didn't want to get too close as she saw the girl had tried to do something, some gas or disease, but she was not long. So Tinley entered her mind. "You will go to sleep and pass away peacefully. I wish you luck in your journey." The girl had tried to hurt them, but she did not deserve this type of pain.
Once satisfied, she quickly followed the others. "I said no kill and I meant no kill. Not unless you have to. Don't like it? Go back to Ultron, but that is how it is going to work from here on out."
"Suppose you're right, Doctor." He responded calmly before quickly moving to grab his icer from upstairs and running back down to make it through the portal. He somewhat wondered why the wizard from before felt so inclined to comment on the situation, after all if he was so perfect why didn't he just magic the damn vibranium to the sanctum? Oh yeah, because there were some things even he couldn't do. Either way, the agent decided that he should probably focus on the task at hand, given that they were now in the open. He wasn't overly eager to test his powers directly against Ultron, however, and decided that if he was going to avoid all of that mess... he would need to be fully focused on the mission and task ahead.
"Well, what do we have along the walls or inside the city? The good thing about my ability is that if I hack something to make some noise and draw her attention, I'm harder to trace than a computer." Roman offered as he stepped up to the group. "Perhaps I could set off a siren, or something to make a bit of a distraction to get her over there once we get closer for an extra safety net?" He asked, looking between the group as he wondered how they might react to his proposal. Of course, he doubted that it was the best plan but, it was what he had in about ten seconds of thinking.

Flynn hadn't expected the girl's powers to act that way, it was obvious she was trying to hurt them, but he had not expect there to be a shield of green smoke around her. There was something that he noticed now though, and it was not something he would have expected. "...She used to be one of the Morlocks, that brand she has, they generally did that for anyone without a physical mutation who joined there community would get a brand like that... Usually the group wasn't much of a threat unless you attacked them first or threatened their community..."
This was definitely not a situation he wanted to think about. The fact that they essentially probably just caused the death of a kid or something. They were supposed to basically be helping people still in a way, but considering how screwy the world had become that sort of thinking was long gone for the most part. Now though that there was the thought that they might be able to fix everything and stop the world from ever becoming like this (if the scientist people actually managed to pull it off) then in the long run it wouldn't really matter, but still, he felt really bad for the kid.
Outskirts of Birnin Zana - Wakanda: July 16th, 2021 - 3:10 A.M.
Yes, it's a new map. Yes, it's amazing. And yes, I spent money on this program so damn it I'm gonna use it.
Susan thought for a moment, before looking over at Cass, "You have season manipulation as power right? Speedsters can't deal with the cold, so why not just make it freezing cold and in the middle of winter?"
Doctor Strange's lips quirked upwards slightly as he considered whether or not he had any ice spells at his disposal that could be used against Luminous. "Any magic I use, she can easily counter - she has the abilities of the Scarlet Witch." However, he did know a few ice spells. Perhaps he could at least weaken Luminous slightly if the others could keep her distracted. Susan's mention that Cass had powers over season manipulation was welcome to hear. "Together, let's bring winter," he told her with a nod. "Between the two of us, we might be able to keep her down enough for the others to capture and contain her."
Shuri crouched into a fighting stance, her weapons at the ready. She knew that they would most likely just phase Luminous, but she was going to be ready for anything. The speedster might not be the only villain they'd run into, after all. "You - Wakanda is a valley of technology. Perhaps you can control something to help," she told Agent Carter, since he seemed a bit lost and unsure of himself.
"The problem with a speedster is that setting off a siren would only distract her for a second," Bonnie told Roman with a grimace. She remembered that the X-Men in their fights against Quicksilver typically had to trick or outsmart him - which wasn't particularly challenging. He certainly hadn't been as bright as his sister. Of course, Luminous was cunning and cruel. She didn't need to take cues from Magneto or the Scarlet Witch when it came to destruction.
There was still the telltale blur of a speedster running over by the walls, but their luck had finally run out. Whether they had just been too loud, Luminous had seen them before the invisibility took over, or that she reached out with her magic to sense their arrival really wasn't clear. However, Niah's vision will cloud and she will become trapped in a waking nightmare. In this place, she can see her brother and sister walking in the middle of a busy road, only to be hit by a semi-truck carrying chemicals. The chemicals spill everywhere, mixing with their blood but they aren't dead. Not yet.
"Niah?" Shuri called out softly, noticing that Niah's eyes had clouded over and were now a silver color.
Bonnie then noticed it too and she bit her lip. She didn't know how to snap someone out of one of these trances. Whatever Niah was seeing, it was her worse fear most likely - that tended to be Luminous' M.O. with these sort of things. "You guys take care of Luminous, I'll get Niah out of this."
Serval Industries - Virginia: July 15th, 2021 - 8:10 P.M.

Raynor didn't stop to think that getting into an elevator was potentially a bad idea. Hackers had murdered people via elevator all of the time before Ultron's uprising. They could easily be walking into a trap right now. Of course, with a Morlock in the lobby area of the former Serval Headquarters, maybe the elevator really is safe. Not everyone is a twelfth level intellect after all - some are just a first level and then some. The Scarlet Witch was fine with getting in the elevator, namely since she could use her powers to stabilize it just in case someone did try to murder them.
"Dominion, I repeat - we got hostiles up here," Captain Marvel's voice said again, as Tinley hadn't acknowledged her. On the positive side, Sunshine seemed to have gone to sleep, the green cloud dispersing after they went into the elevator as the girl died.
"Morlock or not, you can't do anything for her," Wanda told Flynn bluntly. Raynor had crossed his arms and fallen silent, putting two and two together. The girl that had died in the lobby had been the one to kill Sparky. He cast his eyes downwards slightly, wishing she was alive so that way he could go out and throttle her. Unfortunately, the elevator doors closed once everyone was inside before he could get the chance to go brutalize the corpse and Wanda pressed the button for the eighth floor.
Once they had reached the sixth floor, the elevator stopped all of the sudden. There was a soft whine as the power was cut, followed by a large banging - as if something had landed on top of the elevator. The roof was torn off in a moment and Raynor had his fists ready with glowing balls of light, just waiting for something to appear that he could fry. There were three robots, each of them made in Ultron's likeness but none of them were the monstrous robot itself.
"Fuck," Raynor cursed. They were in a confined space and there wasn't really that much room to move around. The elevator doors hadn't opened and with the power cut, they'd have to pry the doors open in order to get an escape route. With the Ultron bots coming at them from above, it would be like shooting fish in a barrel to kill the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents.
"I thought heroes didn't swear," Wanda teased, trying to get a telekinetic grip on one of the robots but she just couldn't get one. It was like trying to grab a wet bar of soap - the robot just kept slipping from her grip.
"Surrender or be destroyed," the robots said in unison.

Cassandra looked over towards Susan and nodded towards her, though she hadn't really used that ability to much as she should have but she did use it during their last encounter with Luminous. However the ability seemed to glitch out when she used it last time but it was worth a shot anyway. "Yeah, though I've used it only a few times and gotten mixed results at best but I can see what I can do. Though it's most likely going to draw a lot of attention towards us." Cass said towards Susan as she nodded towards Strange together they could at least try and slow down Luminous. "Strange and I can slow her down then." She said as she watched Niah when Luminous sent her fellow agent into a trance.
She closed her eyes and started to focus on her ability and then looked up as she watched the clouds suddenly start to cover the area, and then snow immediately started to fall to the ground as the temperature dropped dramatically. The snow was coming down really quickly and looked towards where Luminous should be, as she watched the blue streak suddenly cease, she was to far to see what had happened but Cass assumed that the cold had gotten to the speedster. Looking over towards Shuri and started to notice that she was feeling the chill, as well as Strange a little bit. "Well that went better than expected.." She said as she looked down at the near foot of snow that was now in the area.

Maria looked towards Tinley for a moment, the girl was a threat after all and they simply were just doing was defending themselves and simply shrugged towards her. The girl made the choice to follow Ultron as far as she knew and she promised to make sure that Ultron would pay for killing Novikova. She started to make her way towards the elevator with the others and stepped in shortly after as Scarlet Witch activated the elevator. She leaned back somewhat as she could hear Captain Marvel's voice over the radio, wondering who they were fighting against right now up on the upper floors.
Then the elevator came to a screeching halt and looked up at the ceiling as she could hear the noise of someone or something landing on top of it. The roof of the elevator coming off seeing three Ultron drones there, she quickly drew out her bow she took out three arrows, with EMP tips. And fired three of them in rapid succession noticing that Scarlet Witch was having trouble with one of them, only for two to miss but she managed to hit one of them as the EMP went off shutting down the drone.

Lost in her worst nightmare Niah was mentally screaming. She knew her sister was already dead, but that didn't change how much she wished she wasn't. She ran to her siblings' bodies begging the universe to let them be okay. It was weirdly cold as she tried to help them. Was she dying? It wouldn't be the first time she had almost died. She had felt cold then.
It was more important to help her siblings though. She pushed through the cold and the terror knowing something wasn't right with what was happening. She wasn't an idiot though. She wasn't going to walking into some unknown chemical. She looked at the truck hoping for some information on the chemical only to see the name of the company. Sigma-Aldrich. Well, that certainly didn't narrow down what kind of chemical her siblings were in.
They were clearly still alive. Their blood was everywhere. Why was she so useless? She hadn't been able to help anyone she loved ever. She was a liability to the team. Raynor knew it, why did everyone else pretend like she was one of them? She was too afraid. Too scared to risk herself to save her siblings. Too scared to risk herself when everyone else pushed themselves. She was supposed to be smart. She was supposed to be talented. Her powers were useless in combat. She was useless.
Location: Serval Industries (Virginia) (F7) -> Elevator (Going Up) Skills: Force Field Generation, Engineering Design (Mechanical)
Tinley had only now heard Captain Marvel over the radio as she mentally slapped herself for losing attention. She responded back, "Noted. We are coming up now. Hold out until we arrive." She stepped inside the elevator and waited for ascent. Until it was stopped. She sighed inwardly and looked up. Her concern was correct, Ultron would have defenses in store for them. Robots by the looks of them.
Maria managed to get one downed. After it fell, she formed a forcefield above them and filled the elevator, pushing up with force. At the top, the robots got damaged, but they would soon fall to them and could hurt them or their transportation. She tried to form another field, but her strength had been sapped from her previous attack.
"Flynn, can you see about preventing those robots from landing hard on us? I'm going to try to fix the elevator." She knelt down at the panel and got to work. She tinkered a bit on the wiring and controls until she managed to get it working. The elevator started up and they proceeded. "Got it!" She came back on the radio to Captain Marvel. "Had a hick-up but we are taking care of it. Will be there soon."
Roman looked between the group assembled as they debated what to do, and Shuri gave the ever so helpful advice. Literally, the exact thing he had just suggested that he do. The man mentally grumbled to himself as his exact suggestion was given back to him, but decided that arguing against it at a time like this was very likely a terrible idea. He simply gave a nod towards the girl as she told him to find something that he could use in the valley. With a long sigh, he calmed himself so that he could focus solely on trying to find something that could prove useful to their efforts. Something like a flying vehicle that could draw attention, or maybe even some stuff he could overload to force the speedster to go investigate and eat up some time trying to fix or figure it out.
However, he was suddenly distracted by the calling out of Niah by Shuri, and how the girl seemed to have her eyes clouded over. Roman swore and tried to focus on his task at hand. As the temperature suddenly fell, and snow started gathering all around them, Roman's focus on his attempts was thrown a bit off. Using his inhuman abilities had always been a bit of a struggle, as he never got official training on them, and unfortunately, the sudden cold wasn't helping. He still managed to get control over the security cameras in the city, however, something which he thought would prove useful and focused on keeping control of those systems. "I can't focus well, I need a target or a calmer enviornment. But I do have control of the security cameras, I can help us find a safe way around once we are in." He said quickly, continuing her attempts to find better systems to help out the group.
Outskirts of Birnin Zana - Wakanda: July 16th, 2021 - 3:20 A.M.

The circles with stars? Each of those represents an Ultron bot. Yup.
Speedsters never were known to do well with the cold. Their powers revolved around them accelerating their atoms at incredibly fast speeds, and given that these speeds are proportional to temperature, Cass' conjured winter slowed Luminous down tremendously. She had been running along the wall that separated Birnin Zana from the small group of rebels, but robbed of her speed, she slipped on the build up of ice. Falling from the wall, she hit the now frozen lake on the other side of the wall, cracking her head open as her blood spilled onto the ice. With the cold limiting her speed, her healing factor wasn't able to keep her alive despite the head injury and she died. Of course, only Roman would be able to see this, as he was interfacing with the security cameras - the others would just know they couldn't see the speedster running anymore.
The snow continued to pile up - ten inches quickly became a foot. If they didn't get out soon, they wouldn't need to worry about the chill settling into their bones and disrupting their bodily processes - they'd be buried alive. "...Well that honestly went a lot better then I had thought," the Invisible Woman commented, thinking along similar lines as Cass it seemed.
"Niah," Bonnie said gently, putting her hands on Niah's shoulders. "You're trapped in an illusion. I need you to listen to the sound of my voice and wake up," Bonnie urged. She hesitated for a moment, thinking on everything she knew about these sort of situations. She didn't like the conclusion she came to, but she wanted to help her friend - so she smacked Niah across the face. "Wake up!" she repeated, slapping her again. She then paused, hoping to see some sort of change in Niah's condition from the impromptu cognitive calibration. Hurting her wasn't ideal - it went against the hippocratic oath too - but if it could get her out of Luminous' illusion...
"Allow me, Dr. Chase," Strange said, moving his hands in complicated yet methodic motions. It took him a moment, but the haze then cleared from Niah's eyes and she was freed from the illusion.
"If you destroy the cameras, then Ultron's forces will be blind," Shuri reasoned. Ultron was all about technology. If they were able to get rid of the security cameras covering the city, it would create numerous blind spots. With Luminous down for the count, it was a pretty good chance that their presence in Birnin Zana had already been noted. There was no point in maintaining secrecy.
"We've got more hostiles incoming, don't think a little bit of cold is going to phase them though!" Susan Storm warned. There were roughly twenty Ultron bots that flew over the city wall, hovering in various positions to the west of the party. For a moment, it looked like Susan's powers had fooled the robots into thinking that no one was there - but then the robots opened fire. Strange and Susan tried their best to put up defense shielding, but they couldn't stop them all. Strange was hit in the stomach, Susan was grazed on her left cheek, Niah was hit in the thigh, and Cass was hit as well (but nothing really happened, thanks to her dermal armor).
Bonnie flinched slightly. She didn't know what to do here, but she knew to look to the leader. And as much as Strange wanted to think it was him, she knew who had the most experience here - Shuri, the Black Panther.
"Delta formation!" Shuri ordered, essentially wanting everyone to form a triangle. Heavy hitters in the front making the base, while the squishier members would be in the back, making the tip of the triangle. Strange, Shuri, and Susan moved towards the base of the triangle, while Bonnie headed towards the tip, knowing that while she had combat skills, she would better serve as a medic than a fighter.
Serval Industries - Virginia: July 15th, 2021 - 8:20 P.M.

"I can try, no promises on succeeding with that, but I'll definitely make the attempt," Flynn told Tinley. He engulfed himself in flames with ease, the temperature in the small confined space rising. The Scarlet Witch paled slightly as she looked at the fire, backing away from him ever so slightly. Even monsters were afraid of something. He shot the flames straight up, managing to hit the sentinels. One of them exploded and caused the other to combust as well, with bits of metal raining down on those in the elevator.
"Nice aim, Fire Boy," Wanda muttered, clutching her side. Raynor had gotten hit as well but he didn't say anything as he stumbled backwards, colliding with the wall of the elevator and leaving a slight dent. The others had been fortunate, just getting a slight scratch from the debris at the very most. And thanks to Tinley, the elevator operated normally and opened up onto the Research and Development floor.
Directly in front of them, there was a little office area. To their right, a pair of double glass doors separated the lab equipment from this more open area. They could see Spider-Gwen shooting taser webs at what seemed to be a red and green android, while Captain Marvel attempted to get power dampening chains off of herself. "It's a trap!" she shouted, rising to her feet as the android picked up Spider-Gwen and tossed her into the glovebox like a rag doll.
"I - love - Star - Wars!" Spider-Gwen shouted, forcing herself back to her feet. Her entire body was trembling and she was bleeding from multiple wounds. She threw more web grenades at the android, but they passed through him like he was nothing, like he was just a ghost.
"Agent Abercrombie, I've been expecting you," the android greeted. "I am sorry, but I have to cut this short," he then said, looking at the young web crawling hero. The gem on his forehead was glowing as the Vision shot Spider-Gwen with a prolonged energy blast.
"NO!" Captain Marvel shouted, diving forward and tackling the android, only to pass through him as well. The Vision then dropped Spider-Gwen to the ground, her fingers twitching slightly. She was alive, but barely. Captain Marvel hit the chains repeatedly against the ground, managing to dismantle one of them but there were still more. This wouldn't keep her down though - she was Carol motherfucking Danvers, after all.

Niah came to her senses. She was freezing, her face and eyes were stinging. She reached up and touched it feeling the warmth. Niah couldn't be certain but she thought someone must have slapped her. "Thanks." She said to Doctor Strange. The vision may be gone, but the feelings that had come from it certainly weren't. She closed her eyes for a second trying to dispel the feeling of hopelessness and uselessness. Then Storm was telling them that they had hostiles coming in. She pushed away her thoughts, something else to deal with if she had downtime ever again, and maybe a therapist.
With a deep breath, she opened her eyes and looked out against the incoming bots. At first, it seemed they wouldn't be noticed, but then they were shooting at them. Bullets hit her teammates and one tore into her thigh. She winced, but it wasn't the worst physical pain she had been in. A bullet to the stomach was way worse, which of course reminded her of one of their fallen.
Niah fell into formation. Taking a spot in front of Bonnie but behind Suri, Storm and Strange. Niah decided at that moment that she would start carrying an actual gun. An ICER would be useless against these machines.
Flynn said nothing in response to what Wanda had said, he had essentially done what Tinley had asked him to, which was to attack the Sentinels coming towards them, not his fault that they both exploded and sent debris raining down on them. There wasn't much else he could really do at the moment as he just waited patiently for the elevator to get them to the R&D department. He still wasn't too thrilled with the idea that back on the first floor they had essentially killed a kid, that probably was going to stay with him for a while. One more instant of how badly screwed up the world was becoming.
When the elevator opened up, he glanced out and saw the android, and that android did not look like any other ones that they had really come across before. What the hell was with this one? It definitely was strange, and seeing it take out Spider-Gwen and then Captain Marvel with power dampening chains on her made him a bit concerned with how best to deal with the situation. "Alright Abercrombie, got any bright ideas to get us out of this mess? Since I don't think just blasting at him and attacking is going to really work..."

Cassandra looked over towards Niah for a moment she was worried about her fellow agent while her friend Bonnie went to try and wake her up, the weather was getting pretty bad, and if she didn't change the season soon they would most likely end up being turned into ice sculptures at some point. She closed her eyes again and started to turn the seasons back, trying to focus more on the summer weather than anything, but it ended up not going what she had intended. It was more spring temperature now than winter, which was pretty damn close now and they wouldn't end up freezing.
"There we wont freeze to death now." She said softly and then started to notice the twenty or so Ultron Drones now as they started to fly over the walls of the city and towards them. Cass had a feeling that once she did change the season they would be on top of them in an instant. Shuri quickly ordered them all into a delta formation, taking her spot next to Strange. Cass felt a small sting when one of the Ultron drones shot her, luckily she was tougher though, she then started to think of a plan. She looked over towards Roman for a moment, since they were made of tech he could control them. "Roman, take control of the drones, make them group up as closely as you can and see if you can make them self destruct. And Susan, make a force field around them and try to corral them together." She then turned towards Strange. "Strange, if you can teleport us somewhere in the city, they pretty much know we are here now, they will just keep coming."

Maria watched as Tinley started to get the elevator to work again while building up a forcefield around them, so that they could be protected from the Ultron Drones. And then Flynn attacking the remaining two drones, wincing slightly when she was slightly hit with small bits of debris making a few small cuts. And then the elevator started up again and then they were finally on the R&D level of Serval Industries. Seeing The Vision there, and noticed Spider-Gwen with a few injuries from the fighting, and all of the attacks on Vision seemed to phase through him.
Knowing that a bow really wouldn't work, and she was pretty much normal for the most part if she didn't have anyone's powers to borrow from, looking at the others and stared at Flynn for a moment. She watched as Vision shot a laser at Spider-Gwen, before finally speaking towards Flynn. "We fucking kill the robot then!" Maria said, she didn't care that it was a trap, Spider-Gwen was down and Captain Marvel was chained as she quickly made her way over towards her taking off one of her gloves. "Sorry if you feel any kind of discomfort.." Maria said as she touched Captain Marvel and absorbing some of her power.
"Nice work Flynn." And she honestly meant that. Debris aside, it could have gone far worse for them. She was a bit tired still, but she felt herself regaining some energy as the elevator made its way to their destination. And upon arrival, they were quickly greeted with another henchman of Ultron.
Spider-Gwen and Captain Marvel were tangling as she stepped outside to face him. Judging by what she saw, she knew he did not intend to just let them walk out of here and they were unable to get a hit on him. Judging by his powers, she determined that if they overloaded him with electricity, or perhaps even Flynn's fire, they could hold him here.
"Vision. I heard about you. Nothing but good things, I assure you. Why don't we skip the pleasantries and just get to what we both know is inevitable." Taking out her batons, she ran forward and launched them both. One missed, but the other Vision grabbed. She turned it on, sending a shock to his system. She didn't know if it was enough, but it was a start. "Overlaod him! Maria, shoot EMP arrows if you have them. Flynn, burn him down. Get him long enough to hold him here and we'll take him out."
The man kept with the group and listened to their suggestions. While he agreed with the girl about destroying the cameras, he also wanted to try to keep them and use them for their own benefit. Yet, he would not get that option as the Ultron drones soon started to close in and start to fire upon them. Of course, they had to fire upon them, because what was a day without being shot at by murderbots anymore? Redirecting his attention, the man focused on the Ultron bots firing at them. With the intention of causing some critical failure in all their systems. He closed his eyes to allow himself to focus as he battled past whatever firewalls Ultron had put up to try to keep others out of his little toys. When he opened his eyes, six of the Ultron drones suddenly seemed to freeze up for s second before exploding into little bits of shrapnel as he sent their cores into a reckless overdrive.
"I'll try again, I doubt an ICER is going to do shit against those drones!" He said, going to check the cameras for reinforcements before realizing he had lost control. With a sudden swear, he spoke up again. "I lost control of the cameras, but on the bright side I can confirm from before I lost control, that the speedster is dead." He said quickly, frustration edging into his tone as he tried to calm himself and focus on calming himself to go for another attack on the Ultron drones. He wanted this time to flip their friend or foe identifiers opposite their current status but knew it would be a bit before he could commit to such an attack once more.
Outskirts of Birnin Zana - Wakanda: July 16th, 2021 - 3:30 A.M.
Yes, it's a new map. Yes, it's amazing. And yes, I spent money on this program so damn it I'm gonna use it.
The circles with stars? Each of those represents an Ultron bot. Yup.
They were currently in somewhat of a triangle formation - there was the line of heavy hitters in the front (Strange, Susan, Shuri, and Cass), followed by the geeks without muscles (Roman and Niah), and then their healer in the very back (Bonnie). However, it was probably easy to forget that Bonnie actually had a decent amount of combat experience of her own, meaning that Roman and Niah were comfortably sandwiched between a lot of badasses, all intending to do their best to keep them safe. It was the best they could ask for these days - and with Roman taking out a few of the Ultron bots and the weather returning to spring, they weren't making too shabby progress towards their goal either.
Susan nodded her head, gritting her teeth slightly as she concentrated and made the best force fields she could at the moment. The bots were swarming towards them anyways, so it made it a little bit easier - but with the extensive space they were dealing with, she more of was able to construct two force field walls. "On it," she said, before starting to work on making a better enclosure - she needed to make a sphere around the bots for this to be truly effective.
"Strange, my laboratory," Shuri said, rattling off the coordinates quickly to him. The Sorcerer Supreme nodded, tracing a circle in front of them with the sling ring. On the other side, they would be able to see Shuri's state of the art laboratory. It didn't seem to be in the best condition at first glance, but they didn't have a lot of time.
"Through the portal, quickly," Strange urged. He was so busy keeping the portal open that he didn't have a chance to react and block one of the blasts sent at him by the Ultron bot. It hit him in the stomach and he managed to power through, though he was visibly bleeding and his hands were shaking from an old injury. Shuri was hit as well, but she managed to deflect and absorb the majority of the blow with her gauntlets, before redirecting the blast back and destroying an additional drone.
However, one of the drones had managed to move towards those in the back. Bonnie saw the blast headed for Niah and she didn't have time to shove her out of the way. All she could do was jump in front of her and she took the blast directly to the chest, her heart stopping before she even hit the ground. The bot then resumed firing on Niah and Roman, missing them for the moment but if they didn't get a move on, they could be the next agents to fall in this age of Ultron.
Serval Industries - Virginia: July 15th, 2021 - 8:30 P.M.

Intense light began to emanate from Raynor's hand, as he cauterized his wound and stopped the bleeding. Once that was sorted, his thoughts were a little bit clearer and he emerged from the elevator, noticing that the Scarlet Witch was clutching her side. He hesitated for a moment, before he cauterized her wound as well wordlessly. Her eyes flickered over towards him and she nodded slightly. It was the closest she had ever been to telling someone thank you.
For Maria, siphoning off Captain Marvel's powers was likely more than she had bargained for. One of Carol's lesser known powers was a sort of precognition or cosmic awareness - and in that moment, she'll be able to see everything happening in the outskirts of Birnan Zana in Wakanda. She'll see Bonnie Chase drop to the ground, dead from taking a blast to the chest in order to save Niah and Roman's lives. Maria will also be able to tell that Strange is seriously injured and that the so-called geek squad is in serious trouble.
Unfortunately though, Bonnie isn't the only member of the resistance who drew their final breath. Spider-Gwen succumbed to her injuries, her blood staining the floor around her. Captain Marvel had just been knocked unconscious from Maria's abilities - understandable, given that the last time someone used power absorption on her, she had ended up in a coma (thanks, Rogue).
"I must say, I admire your courage," the Vision complimented. While Tinley's idea of using electricity would prevent him from phasing, each electric shock would only last for a minute or so at most. She would need to throw her weapons when she wanted to stop the android and keep on repeating this process until she took him down. The synthezoid crushed the baton that he had caught, dropping the remains down to the ground. "But this is not a fight that you can win. You must surrender - it is imperative for your survival."
"You see, that's what you just don't fucking get..." Raynor snarled, walking forward. His hands were holding two gigantic glowing balls of light and there was murderous intent in his eyes.
"We don't care if we survive," the Scarlet Witch finished for him, her own eyes actually red with hatred. She had chaos energy swirling around her and she shot it forward at the synthezoid, wrapping him up in it. She pulled her hands apart and started to pull the Vision apart, piece by piece. This wasn't her eliminating an enemy or a foe - this was torture, revenge for her lost family and loved ones.
Choices in the heat of battle are always hard. This one hurt more than Niah could even explain. She chose to step through the portal and get away from the threat rather than try to pull her dead friend with her. The time wasted could easily be the end of her and she needed to complete this mission. She needed the time travel machine to work. There was too much blood. Niah could apologize to a living Bonnie who had no memory of this world. Dealing with Flynn would be a bit more unpleasant, but she'd make sure they ended up together when time was reset.
"Tell us what to grab Suri." Niah said as she stepped through. Her voice cracking and her eyes blurry until she wiped at them. Strange was in dire straights and he was their exit plan. With Bonnie dead, they didn't have a medic. Niah also cast her gaze around for something that might be used as a weapon. Her ICER was fine against human targets, but the Ultron bots weren't human.

Cassandra watched as Roman took out some of the Ultron drones with his ability, and also managed to confirm that he Luminous had been killed as well. She was more of a close quarters fighter, as Susan managed to create a force field to try and coral the Ultron drones into a group. Though some had managed to get through and turned around to the other side of their formation, while another managed to shoot both Strange seeing the wound didn't look good at all either, while Shuri managed to get hit as well but was fine and managed to take out the drone.
Then what happened next made her stop where she was as one of the Ultron drones managed to fly around their formation and aimed for Niah, but her best friend Bonnie taking the shot to the chest. As she watched her closest friend fall to the ground and not getting back up, tears started to go down her eyes as she watched someone else she was close to die right in front of her, remembering their earliest days together assigned to Coulson's team, and hitting it off really quickly as well. Even remembering as going as far as hiding her own sister from being put on the Gifted Index that SHIELD had at the time.
She noticed that Dr. Strange wasn't looking to good either, and he had to hold the portal out. "Get through the portal now!" Cassandra yelled towards the others, before turning towards the Ultron drone that killed her best friend and ran towards it, and tackled it to the ground, not caring what else happened to her as she started to beat down the Ultron drone and tearing it apart piece by piece.
Maria stopped for a moment the moment that she had absorbed Captain Marvel's powers, she could see the science team over in Wakanda and from what she had witnessed as Bonnie was killed, and Dr. Strange didn't look good at all either seeing the wound. They weren't doing well right now, as soon as the vision ended. Maria looked over towards Flynn, she wasn't sure how she would be able to break the news to him about what had happened to Bonnie. She closed her eyes for a moment, knowing that no one wouldn't like the news at all especially Flynn, and finally said it. "Bonnie's gone, she was killed by one of Ultron's drones i'm sorry Flynn.." Maria said softly.
She quickly drew out her bow as Scarlet Witch started to use chaos magic on the Vision, she managed to notch three arrows with the EMP tips, and fired off three arrows, in quick succession. But all three of them just simply phased through the android with no issue at all, which started to make her even more annoyed looking over at the others. "He bastard just keeps phasing." Maria said.
Flynn nodded his head when Tinley essentially gave the orders to take Vision down. He saw that Wanda and Raynor were basically pissed off and were attacking him. Preparing to attack Vision himself, his blood ran cold when he heard Maria's words. Bonnie? Dead? That was not possible, could it be? Internally, he was screaming, and it would seem his powers wanted to show that he was not the happiest person in the world at the moment either, as he instantly caught fire, his body surrounded by the flames now, and he stepped towards Vision and the others now, ignoring what Maria had said about him phasing now.
"I'm with them," he said, a bit coldly, nodding his head towards Raynor and Wanda, "I don't care if I survive." With those last words, he sent a blast of flame flying at Vision, and it was clear that he was definitely wanting to hurt Vision as badly as possible. It would seem that his anger was being useful, as he managed to slam the flames into Vision before he was able to phase and avoid them. Now Vision was starting to spark a bit from the damage that he had caused, but Flynn was not calming down. He did stop blasting at Vision completely, but he essentially was still a big ball of fire walking around at the moment.
