How would everyone feel about an updated Deathcry?
Interesting choice, but so long as you have a solid concept and direction to take her in, there's no reason it couldn't work.
How would everyone feel about an updated Deathcry?
@Inkarnate
She is apart of the Shi`ar, an alien race. She was exiled and ended up on Earth. She joined the avenger briefly where the only people who liked her were Hercules and Vision (I get Herc...But Vision?). She later left the Avengers to return home. Where she died in battle against a Kree.
BOOM.

To describe Nightrunner? ... I might use it.

I smell Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, and Thor team-ups. Interesting.
I do everything solid.
Potentially have a Black Canary player lined up that'll change Ollie's premise a little (namely their shared time on the Island). Edited my sheet to suit it. Hopefully you'll get to see something soon.
Can I make a Panther? One who is, in particular, black?

EDIT: Nevermind. Page didn't load correctly.
Other than a sample post and adding a few more villains under the "supporting characters" section, this CS is pretty much finished.
Ultimate One Universe: Year One Application
Character You're Applying For: Janet van Dyne, the Insect Queen
Powers And Abilities:
-Bio-Genetic Ring: The Bio-Genetic Ring is an ancient Egyptian relic. The powers of this ring are derived from the powers of the Egyptian sun god, Ra, in his role as Khepri. As the wearer of the Bio-Genetic ring uses it over time, the ring itself starts to form an association with the wearer. With enough usage, the ring can even recognize when it has been stolen and will either try to return to its original owner or find a new bearer who is more worthy than the robber.
With only a thought, Janet can transform her body from the hips down (and sometimes her arms, depending on the species) into any kind of arthropod, even those native to alien planets. She can only take the form of arthropods that she has knowledge of (aka she can't turn into Kryptonian insects unless she somehow reads up about them). The ring also alters Janet's costume so that her clothes would fit her new form. Specific powers vary with each species, but she generally superhuman agility and low-level superhuman strength. If the wearer loses the ring while still transformed, the wearer will be stuck in that form unless (s)he gets the ring back. The ring also allows Janet to communicate and control arthropod creatures. This power does not depend on Janet being transformed.
While she is not using the Bio-Genetic ring to take on the form of an arthropod, the Bio-Genetic ring grants her wasp-like wings capable of flight, enhanced stamina, and bio-electric blasts from her hands. If the ring is stolen, the wearer maintains this form for 48 hours to give him or her a chance to win back the ring. Once the 48 hours have elapsed, all powers related to the Bio-Genetic ring will disappear.
Expert Fashion Designer: Janet learned the art of the trade from both her mother, who was a successful fashion designer in her own right, and from college at Fashion Institute of Technology. While Janet is still living off of her mother's fortune, her own fashion company, Yellowjacket, has proven lucrative, too. Janet's fashion expertise also applies to her superhero life. She probably has more costumes than any one crimefighter needs and might even give suggestions to other heroes.
Origin And Backstory (In A Maximum Of Four Paragraphs):
Janet was born to Amelia and Vernon van Dyne. Her mother was a highly successful fashion designer who built quite a fortune through the course of her career, while her father was an expert in Egyptology. During one of Vernon's excavations in Egypt, he had bought an Egyptian ring, thinking it was just a little knick-knack. However, this ring was actually an ancient relic imbued with the power of the Egyptian sun god, Ra. For years, no one knew that this little knick-knack was really a magical, Egyptian ring. Its true power would not be revealed until years later.
After Janet graduated from Fashion Institute of Fashion in New York City, she followed in the footsteps of her mother by starting up her own business, Yellowjacket. Since Janet was still living off of her share of the van Dyne fortune, she could take risks in the fashion business without worrying about losing everything. During this time, Janet first met Dr. Hank Pym, who was working with her father, Vernon, to apply Pym's discover of Pym Particles to the preservation of endangered archaeological sites, especially those in the Middle-East.
During one of Vernon van Dyne's excavations, Janet's father contracted some mysterious disease that stumped all modern medicine. Locals claimed that the excavation site was cursed, but no one could confirm whether the cause of this disease was mystical or mundane. After Vernon van Dyne's death, Janet found the ancient Egyptian ring that her father had bought years ago while going through his things. Even though it was an antique item, it nevertheless appeared as new as the day it was forged. Without a moment's thought, Janet slipped the ring onto her finger and continued to look through her father's belongings. While she was thinking about a good memory of her father, who would used to call her his little bumblebee, her lower body magically transformed into that of a giant bumblebee, wings, legs, and all. Since she was freaked out by what had happened to her, Janet immediately removed her ring, but the bumblebee appearance still remained. Not sure what to do, Janet sneaked out of a window unnoticed and went to the only person who she knew could figure this out: Dr. Pym. After he examined her predicament, the two realized that all Janet had to do to return to her normal form was to wear the ring again and think about becoming human again.
After the public emergence of metahumans six months ago, Janet wanted to do more to help people. Since she now knew how to turn on and off the ring's powers, Janet decided that she would use this ancient relic to give her powers so that she could become a superhero. She even asked Hank Pym to join her as a crimefighter. At first, Pym resisted, arguing that it was not his place to interfere with police matters. Nevertheless, he gave into her 'suggestion' because he knew that Janet would become a superhero no matter what he did. He might as well make sure she does not get herself into trouble. After Janet threw together some colorful costumes, they became the Insect Queen and the Ant-Man.
What Makes This Character 'Ultimate'?:
Obviously Janet never received the Bio-Genetic ring, since Janet is a Marvel character, while the Bio-Genetic ring is from the DC universe. The main "ultimatization" is the ring itself. In most interpretation, the ring is alien in origin. Only the "Golden Age" Insect Queen had a non-alien origin, but this version did not have the insect transformation. This version is based on "magic" (or divine blessing), which is different from both Wasp's and Insect Queen's regular technological powers.
Also, if the game lasts long enough for it, I would like to do a different interpretation of Ultron becoming a villain. Instead of trying to wipe out or replace humanity, Ultron would try to pacify humanity and become their benevolent overload.
Supporting Characters:
-Dr. Henry "Hank" Pym (Ant-Man): The scientist who discovered and named Pym Particles. Has pacifist views and dislikes fighting. Only has the Ant-Man secret identity because Janet pressured him into it. He normally uses his Ant-Man equipment for his scientific research.
-Ultron units: Artificial Intelligence developed by Dr. Hank Pym to help him in his research.
-Beatriz al-Zenbewr: Sister of the current queen of Bialya. She wishes to be the queen, herself.
-The Beetle: A Bialyan mercenary who uses an insect-themed powersuit.

At least Star Lord and maybe the resident GL at least. The latter I'm going to have to run somethings by.
<Snipped quote by Afro Samurai>
Nope. No diversity here. Only straight white male (unless gender swapped or Gowi) humans. No black panthers.
The American Panther it is, then.

I'm both confused and fascinated.
