When worn, the player gains the Dragon Blood, allowing them access to the Dragonborn's power to Shout. The Amulet can also be broken to temporarily transform the user into a Dragon form, an avatar of Akatosh for a scant few minutes. While this form is very powerful and capable of overcoming just about any enemy, taking this form does permanently destroy the artifact in the process.

In battle it can be used like any sword weapon, though it does more effective damage against Dark-aligned foes, and in addition it can be called to its master's hands from virtually anywhere. Outside of battle, it can be used as a Utility capable of opening virtually any lock without fail.

True to Odin's word, the wielder assumes Thor's strength, armor, and combat prowess in addition to the power to summon lightning... for the duration of one hour. The hammer can be recalled to the hand after thrown, and in addition allows its holder to fly... or at least leap very long distances. The only drawback is that while Mjolnir is in use, all other Artifacts must remain unequipped. After its use, the hammer requires a three hour cooldown period before its power can called upon again.
