Sonny & Missy
Interacting with: Sunshine, Richie, Bradley,
Dee, Lupe, Silas,
whoever else is in the kitchen,
and at the end, Missy interacts with Spice.
Annoyance wasn't the best word to describe how Sonny was feeling right now. He was already on edge solely because he went on this trip with a bunch of kids he spent the past four years avoiding. Weed was a necessity to put up with his classmates for one last summer. He would manage because he at least had a few faces he could deal with like Sable. Quietly, giving a subtle smirk with her entrance in the kitchen, Sonny glanced over to one of his close friends and rolled his eyes, "If you wanted strong, I could give you straight up liquor." Of course, he would avoid that because he didn't want her to get sloppy drunk yet. It was far too early for him to babysit.
Before they could have a moment to converse, Missy's 'call' summoned the lot of them and for some goddamn reason everyone felt inclined to tease the bartender that went out of his way for them. It didn't help that he felt like he was in between a stare off between one of his best friends and a girl he couldn't stand, solely because how overbearing she could be.
Molly left as fast as she came in, which Sonny momentarily acknowledged while he fixed himself a straight Whiskey shot and downed it in a matter of seconds. He wasn't one to talk, at least not when there was a herd surrounding him. He was standing next to the Wicked Witch, most people who didn't see through the 'bitch', which was anyone not at her 'level', avoided her like the plague.
"Better save some for tonight fellas." Richie's voice entered the scene, which was rewarded with a snort from Missy.
"Oh please, if we run out of booze, we'll just get more. Plus, I'm sure the party will have plenty." Missy may have been sexually attracted to the boy, but she wasn't going to pretend to be anyone but herself. Does no one know how to actually pregame? What is this? Preschool? They were in America and yet everyone was being a bunch of lame asses. When Richie asked about Jem, Missy was no longer interested and tugged at Sonny's sleeve, "Heyyyy, make me a whiskey sour, pleaseeee?"
"Oh wow, you said please." Sonny shrugged and made Missy her drink, while glancing up to Richie, "Nah, man. I haven't. I'm sure she'll show up soon enough." Unfortunately, his response probably could not be heard because right when he said something, Bradley came in to flirt with the dude.
Why was he here again?
His eyes went from Bradley to Richie, then to the sudden glistening body of DeShawn whose hand immediately groped the plump bottom of the Witch beside him. Okay, this was just getting too crowded for him.
"Needs more flavour, Santino. Tastes like piss” Sonny's eyes were enough for anyone who knew him, particularly Sunshine, Lupe, and Molly, to know the weed hadn't hit yet and everything that was around him was like fingernails against a chalkboard.
"Oh my god, babe!" Missy playfully punched Dee's arm, as she giggled, "I think I deserve a little break. You don't look this fine without treating yourself from time to time. I'll get back to our routine first thing in the morning. You, me, Bradley. You two totally can be shirtless and I'll jog in between. Everybody be jealous!" Missy swiped the drink Sonny had finished making and took a graceful sip, "Approved. Good job, Sonny. You should consider tending for the rest of your life." She gave a teasing grin, her stare going from Sonny then to Sunshine. Purposefully, she rested her gaze on the girl's face, trying to get a read out of her, while still talking to her bestie, "Dee, you know I had to check out Ocean Drive. We might've just got here but I cannot, absolutely cannot, waste a day!" Which reminds her, she needed to see her Spice and get a change of clothes for tonight! A 'you-want-me' dress!
Sonny had drowned out Missy's voice when he caught a glimpse of Lupe. His demeanor changed for a moment or two, where his eyes brightened and he couldn't help but give a cute, small, very small wave. Yes, he had lingering smoke slipping out of his mouth and no, he wasn't going to share that weed, because it was his good weed to help him cope with these kind of situations. They can all have a smoke circle later, with his other stuff. Not his good weed.
"Hey, how's your day been guys?" Her voice was like a nightingale, too sweet, too pure for this world, and could calm him no matter the situation. Gentle, like soothing, calm waves. Like the ocean. That's what Lupe's voice reminded him of. Too caught up in thinking about her voice, Sonny forgot to answer her, ultimately ignoring her! ON ACCIDENT.
"Oh, it's you." Missy's attention fully went to Lupe's face and her look. The girl who never apologized for anything that she did to her. Her gaze trailed down the timid girl's body and with a short acknowledgement of approval, Missy simply sipped her drink once more and purred, "Cute."
Before he could be the hero, either saving Lupe from Missy, or swiping Lupe's shot, drinking it for her so she didn't have to deal with his terrible shot, Silas beat him to it. The uneasiness crept back up inside of Sonny once more.
"You didn't have to drink it." Sonny watched as Silas mocked him to his friend and part of him wanted to say 'fuck it' and walk back outside. Looks like Sunshine can handle providing drinks for everyone for the rest of the night.
And then Sam entered, acting like a hot shot. Ruffling Sunshine's hair and then checking Lupe out, giving her a damn wink. He didn't care about the whistle to Missy, because he didn't care about her. Okay, he was done with this. "I'm going to change." Leaving the counter as it was, mess and all, for anyone else to make drinks, Sonny walked away from everyone, making sure he made no contact, went to the living room where another group of people were talking, and shuffled upstairs to his bedroom. He had left before fireworks was a topic of discussion between the Min siblings. The one who without a doubt, always had a light on him, left the area to retain his peace. Alone.
"That reminds me!" Missy watched Sonny walk away, hardly giving Samuel the time of day, knowing very well she was sexy. Sam was an easy lay for her, she wanted a challenge tonight. He was cute and definitely was fun to... play with, but this was her last summer to really explore her horizons! Of course, if he chose to try to get some, she wasn't completely opposed, but right now, she was going to be on the prowl. Perhaps for... her sultry gaze followed the brown hair on Richie's head...
Hm. Did she have a type?
Maybe.
"I'm going to give Kitten a visit. Sunshine, Dee, you're more than welcome to come, but do know, I'll be changing into something more suitable for tonight."
Smirking, she looked to Sam one last time before she made her exit, "Baby, I don't need to plan."
As she walked past the Min siblings, she yawned, "Shouldn't you light 'em when it's dark? Well, whatever. You guys do you, I have better things to do." As if the invitation was open to her.
And with that she made her way upstairs to her destination.
By Spice's door, Missy respectfully knocked on it (believe it or not, she could respect people) with the hand that wasn't holding her alcoholic beverage, "Knock, knock! Busy, Kitten? I'm sending out an SOS, I need a wardrobe change ASAP!"
