The world of Edanica. Beautiful, bountiful and free but, most surprising, relatively peaceful. Indeed, the many Kingdoms and Domains of Eolai and Lushora - the known World - have struck a balance and have remained in status quo for many years. Of course the occasional disputes and skirmishes may happen with neighbors for various Feudal problems, but no full out Wars have been waged in more than twenty years.
Until the 'Nuniel Aggression'.
The Empire of Nuniel, one of the two largest Kingdom of Lushora, had always been trying to expand it's borders east. However Zuiterra, with it's favorable terrain, always managed to push back their hungry enemies.
This was about the extent of hostilities throughout Edanica...until about two years ago, when the Empire of Nuniel launched an offensiveagainst the twin Kingdoms of Coris and Latis, who always had good relations in face of their northern neighbor's power.
The world is changing, and the political theater may yet hide things from unwanted eyes. Still, such Conflicts can be profitable for the right type of persons. The Red Branch Company, a band of mercenary, have been hired by Nuniel for their Campaign in East Lapis. Mainly, they have been ordered to take and keep the port city of Flemont while the main forces push Westward to solidify what gains the Empire took and reinforce the Western Front.
Setting
Players will mainly play characters that belong to the 'Red Branch Company'.
The Company is currently hired by the Nuniel kingdom with the task to take and hold the coastal city of Felmont. Eventually, the band will possibly get entangled in conflicts and events that may surpass them, and lead them to challenge ever rising odds for an ever rising crisis. The RP will try to respect certain aspect of the games. Some of the points of focus will be;[i] Characters Relations, Chapters, Classes, Weapons and Permanent Characters Deaths.
Rules
Classes and Skills
Classes and Characters in general will try to respect the game's 'spirit' as much as possible. There will be a list of active characters in the CS section with EXP awarded to them as well as current level. More information there on levels and leveling.
I give a list of Fates' Classes, but I believe I will accept almost all Classes from all FE games. I only ask that players uses their judgement in the creation of their characters and create something that is believable to the world of Edanica and that respect the Rules. Some exceptions will apply.
For all Classes that are heavily Japanese inspired (Hoshido), you can modify it so that it fit the lore better or use one of the Asian-inspired Nations I will be listing below. Discuss with me before hand if you have question or want to know how it can be adapted.
Again, all characters will need to be approved by me before being accepted, so use your judgement to make something believable please.
Classes
1- As far as skills go, they will be used in a narrative kind of way. Characters will be able to use them, active of passive, through a visual and auditory representation. Meaning if it's a passive, you have to activate it by saying the name of the skill - same if you want to use an active skill. For all % skills or 'Powerful' abilities, I can but only trust in people to respect the rules of no Power Play.
2- If I see abuse, there will be OOC talk. Of course, I don't think I can think ahead of everything possible or any possible combination of skills and classes - so I trust you to respect the rules here again.
3- Important Modification: I will allow a Personal Skill that is unchanging, and everyone will have Three Skill slots. If you are a Mercenary - and keep in mind we use FE Fates Skills - they only have Good Fortune at Level 1, and unlock another skills at Level 5: Strong Riposte.
While all classes of all games are technically allowed (exceptions may and will arise) only skills from Fates can be chose from. Personal Skills can be created, but only used if accepted.
PS: Get your inner Anime Edge out. If you need an example; check Overlord (Anime/Manga/Visual Novel).
Skills
Additional Classes
Pistoleers
Nuniel have managed to downsize their new discovery in order to be able to equip what they call a 'Pistol' to foot soldiers. It's smaller size meant severely reduced range as well as rate of use, but still dangerous.
Obligatory first Skill: Pistol Shot (Close Range powerful shot that can only be used once per fight or after a very long loading process)
Usable Weapons: Swords
Promotes to: Cannoneers, Long Gunner
Cannoneers
Cannoneers are the bread and butter of Nuniel forces now. Equipped with a much larger weapons that can fire up to mid-range, they remain out ranged by most other missiles troupes. Including Magic users. However, their weapons pack a serious punch once in range to use it.
Skill: Shell Explosion - A skill that makes it so the shot explodes, hitting an area instead of just the primary target.
Usable Weapons: Hand-cannons
Long Gunner
A select few individuals will become Long Gunners. They are equipped with the most refined form of Nuniellite technology which can fire with relative precision at long range. Less powerful than a Hand-Cannon, but more precise.
Skill: Deadeye - Automatic Critical hit on a chosen enemy on it's next action taken
Usable Weapons: Rifles
Trinities
The Trinity of Weapons and Magics will be respected in this RP, mostly. Since it is not Tabletop and there are no stats per say, I only ask that as a general rule you consider these two things when you write fighting scenes in IC.
■ Sword > Axe
■ Axe > Spear
■ Spear > Sword
■ Anima > Light
■ Light > Dark
■ Dark > Anima
Special weapons and Tomes still exist.
Weapons, Tomes, Staves and Others
We are going to be using Weapons uses.
Like EXP, I will be reading the posts in Battle and keep track of your inventory usage in a Section of the First post in the CS Tab. It will add authenticity to the Fire Emblem/RP relation as well as add a layer of planning during combat and between.
Now in the game the basic weapons go up to 30 uses - which I think is a lot for Narrative use. Seeing as we will not use actual stats or HP, one good thrust into a man's stomach will kill him. As such, the number of uses per Weapons or other items will be reduced in a way that should keep the use/Kill ratio kind of the same as within the game.
E-Ranked Weapons: 25 Uses : Brass/Bronze Weapons, Fire, etc
D-Ranked Weapons: 20 uses : Iron Weapons, Thunder, etc
C-Ranked Weapons: 15 Uses : Steel Weapons, Lightning, etc
B-Ranked Weapons: 10 Uses : Silver Weapon, Ragnarock, etc
A-Ranked Weapons: 8 Uses : Unique Weapons, Rare Spells, etc
Special-Ranked Weapons: 5 Uses : Legendary Weapons, Spells or Staves, etc

Nations
Zuiterra is easily considered on equal foot with Nuniel in terms of strength. They have been fighting off skirmishes and harassment from their Western rival for many years though it never turned into a full fledged war. Zuiterrans are a proud and resilient desert folks.
Latis is a simple land where people mostly live off of farming and some trade with their ally neighbor. It is one of the two 'Twin Kingdoms'. Latis' cavaliers are considered among the best in all of Lushora, and maybe even the known world.
Coris is the second 'Twin Kingdom', ever allies of Latis in face of Nuniel power. Their advantageous position allow them to trade with most of the Western most nations. Coris' army is somewhat lacking in both size and strength, but is bolstered when need arises by mercenaries of all sorts paid for with the nation's extreme wealth.
The Empire of Nuniel. Powerful, military service has been part of it's culture for as long as one can remember. It fields the largest army of any nations on Lushora, as well has possessing the largest land. Even then, it's expansion plans have been thwarted time and times again by the southern alliance and Zuiterra's natural defense. No more...as the Nunielites marches to War, they now wield pwoerful new weapons born of an unknown technology.
Not all Pegasus Knights come from Brudel, but all Pegasi does. Known also as the 'Queen's Peaks' Brudel is a well respected mountain Queendom who breeds some of the finest Pegasus Knights on the continent. It's highest peaks are Pegasi migration breeding grounds.
The polar opposite of Brudel, Dricia's lands are almsot exclusively comprised of plains and rivers. Apart from it's capital city, the folks of Dricia are nomads that follow livestocks around the massive Drician plains. It is said that every respected Latis Cavalier have a Drician mount, for they breed the best horses in the lands.
Mica was once part of the same land as Yeryn, it's neighbor. After a civil war which Yerynians won thanks to their disciplined philosophy and Battle Monks, one became two. Where Yeryn is a mystical land of prayers and magic, ever consumed by thick jungle forests and mist - Mica is a land of hardworking people, fielding some of the best artisans on Ealai. The two kingdoms have an uneasy peace ever since the civil war, but peace nonetheless.
Malia is a harsh land of ice and snow. Far to the north, it's people live mostly off of hunting and what meager food their short summers give them. This land breed some of the finest and most enduring warriors, who often set out to become sell swords to any who needs them.
