Okay people! As you know, player directed missions are a thing in this rp, and I've spoken to Marrok, and he agreed to let me have a go at one :) It's bassically gonna be a haunted house-esque sort of thing, with all the trappings including paranoid locals, creepy children, and general spooky-ness if I can figure out how to write it lol

If you're interested or have any questions, let me know either on here or on discord as soon as you can so we can work on ways to get your character involved! :)

Yup yup. The "Main Mission" will initiate soon, but again, not everyone is required to go on all of the main missions until we get toward the very end. You can jump in and out of them as you please until it's indicated otherwise. The Main Missions will essentially act as a trail of crumbs leading to the climax of the campaign. I will initiate that at daybreak (in character). I want to get some social time in first with other peoples' characters before then for selfish reasons.

Anyone and everyone can initiate a personal mission at almost any given time. I would just prefer if you have at least one other person tag along with you. For the main missions, either Finlay or Ryder will be required party members. Other than that, no holds barred.

I have a pretty decent core idea in place as to what's actually going on, but I'd be happy to hear any suggestions you have! Will probably be angled more in a Haunting of Hill House/Steven King style character driven horror - but with the actual thing that's going down I could definitely lean more into the lovecraftian 'big incomprehensible force' kind of thing if that's what you're on about?

I was thinking an abandoned mansion or estate in a village that was rumored to be cursed by townsfolk that we have to investigate. Kind of like a smaller version of a Shadow Over Innsmouth. More mystery and less Eldritch creature we can't understand. That kind of thing.

I suppose my idea has all the mystery and fear of the unknown of Lovecraft without the creature itself. Its existence might be implied, but it wouldn't be seen or fought. Only it's followers.
