"Black Wolf" Coyote

Coyote carefully caught the tiny Den Den Mushi as it was tossed to him, careful not to shake the poor thing up too much. He almost returned the "gift," but decided that, if he was going to be traveling with these folks for the foreseeable future, having one of these babies would ultimately be more convenient than detrimental. Besides which he was being paranoid- it's not like the good ol' WG could track him with one of these little guys, right? ...Right?

...

...Again, overthinking.

He grinned up at Hallelujah, giving a mock-but-still-mostly-respectful salute.

"As you say, Commander," he said cheerfully, before headed to the gangplank to board the rickety little ship. He could have easily Tanz'd up onto the deck, but he had the feeling that would be a bad idea. You never could tell who was watching, and what they might say. And the last thing he wanted to do was draw a bounty hunter crew- or worse, Marine headhunters- onto the tail of his new friends. So, casually, and very much with no superpowered shenanigans whatsoever, he took a place on the railing next to Hallelujah, following her eyes out to the distance, and seeing...

...Oh. Dear. That is a lot of smoke.

"Er..."
He shuffled uncomfortably. "Forgive any impertinence, but you don't suppose that smoke is your crew's doing, do you? Should we go check that out?"

Arafael looked at the burning forests. Handel was as resourceful as the rumours goes, but most associates had sure run wild and loose, or should he say ‘crewmates’? The results of the battle wasn’t so clear from that view of the harbour, all that can be seen was the same smoke from the swamps. Its fortunate for the wolf that the wind sweeps from the opposite end off the swamps, the coastal winds was as fresh despite the view of smoke.

But things on the side of harbour are as peaceful as it is now. Laying by the side of the decks, Arafael took another one of his so-called naps. It would be interesting to know, should the rest of this crew return from the forests.

"Yup." He said in reply to the man asking if he killed Valar. He graciously accepted the bag full of Beris and tucked it away for safekeeping. "Thank you." He said to the mayor. He was about to leave, but then the mayor continued to speak and gave him a sealed letter. He spoke of this man and needing to have this letter delivered to him. Flint racked his brain to see if he could recall anything that might help him, but nothing seemed to pop out. But that wasn't going to hinder him, he wouldn't be good as a bounty hunter if he couldn't find people, especially those who were trying to not be found.

"This man he shouldn't be too far off then, if he came to you only a couple of days ago right?" He asked as he also stored away the letter, but not before looking at that wax seal. This was truly important to deliver and he definitely wouldn't want to fail on this errand. "Well for whatever it's worth, you got my honor as an ex-administer of justice that I'll get that done for you." He said to the mayor before walking away. He took a pause as he thought about his original set of tasks he was supposed to do before he ended up sidetracked fighting Valar and his crew. Right, more supplies and a pet for the Captain.

Flint felt uncertain as to how long they could mingle before they began to draw attention. Ultimately he decided they should just leave and head to the nearest island and hopefully avoid any undue attention. It's not like the Captain and her ship were particularly infamous, individual crew bounties notwithstanding. Better to play it safe though, and get out while it's still calm. He would return to the ship and find himself seeing two new faces with Handel. There was a man and a big fluffy dog. Without skipping a beat he said casually, "Hey Handel, nice dog where'd you get him? It doesn't matter too much having to explain him, but you mind if I pretend having this dog was planned? In all the excitement on this island, I seemed to have forgotten to get my duties completed. But at least one of them would be complete with this dog. Anyway, once Alesia gets back with the others we should get off this island. This dragon Zoan that joined her decided it would be a good idea to torch the entire fucking swamp."

He then turned his attention to Coyote extending a hand, "Hey there new guy, and what might be your name? Name's Fint Ironstag and I see you're acquainted with Handel. If she's already vetted I'm sure you'll have no problem coming aboard with us. As you can see, we're in the middle of something but once everyone gets here, things will get active. So, you got any useful skills for sailing are you just gonna be doing grunt work?"

He reciprocated the handshake. That itself prompted a couple of blinks from the sharp toothed vagabond. Expectations were for more snark at the very least, but this man presented himself as oddly reasonable. A rarity among pirates, or at least in the sharklass' experience anyway. The firm shake went smoothly with no awkwardness, Adam could even feel exaggerated enthusiasm in the gesture with her whole appendage performing unnecessarily large movements following the shake.

Though as Eri was ready to respond with something out of the blue, a sudden crash would catch everyone's attention. A meteor of sorts had crashed nearby, propelling harmless debris around the whole area! Eri's arm broke off the handshake and proceeded to defend its owner's head from any potential danger. This meteor of sorts would emerge from the impact's dust as the mentioned captain of the little squad Erizalla was seeking to squat.

"Oh, oh. You must be the boss lady."

With eyes scrutinising the eccentric leader of the winning side of the recent battle, she'd maintain her large, toothy grin as Adam and Alesia had their exchange. Her optics peered over at the treasurer's direction, following with a wink at him.

"Ah you must've misheard, my bad. I meant to say I'd be honoured to meet this woman he calls a captain! Mush mouth runs in a family I'm afraid, especially with those darn teeth. Useful for extreme violence, not so much for diplomacy."

With an exaggerated shrug and a chuckle, she'd then turn her attention to the behemoth that had called out toward Adam. Her eyes glittered in glee as she recognized the reptilian form as the big reason she made such a quick switch. She paused, simply to admire the potential this dragon-man presented. No longer would they have to be bothered with petty ship fights. They had a dragon, and most ships are made out of wood! This was definitely a good day.

"Keke, where do I sign up then, captain?"

She smirked, looking down at the shorter female.

Cliffsides

That lady sure had her way of words, Alesia thought, as the dragon would slowly descend down towards the cliffside. “Right… hop on,” Alesia climbed back onto the head of the dragon, she was glad that any dispute for the plunder was placed aside for now. But the word ‘defect’ was a bit suspicious. Nevertheless, the more the merrier, she supposed.

Back to The White Pearl @everyone

Along the piers, the dragon flew towards the White Pearl. Arafael let out a few audible sniffs at the sight of the flying creature. The smell of the air was peculiar. Most of these are the same ones that were in the Olde Tavern of the previous skirmish, except for a few that he had yet to see before. Two of them had the smell of money. Have they defeated Valar or…? A lady that he had seen once, and it couldn’t be it, one of those people of Valar’s Crew. Arafael snarled at Erizalla, the enemy that he met a few days before. She is one of them…

“No!” Alesia patted on the fur of Arafael. The pet wolf’s howls turned to a whimper, albeit reluctantly. “Good boy ~” Alesia leaned against the railings of the upper deck. “I like this wolf, and it seemed our crew had a couple of new faces.”

Alesia smiled at the new pet, before turning to look at Coyote and Erizalla, “Oi, new guy, and Erizalla too, mind if you fetch a bit of dog treats? The kitchen is near the ship quarters.”

@Savato
The ‘pet wolf' was none other than Arafael, one of the Marines that fought the Shade Pirates in a couple of days before. A marine that ate a zoan fruit. The Wolf have a pistol hidden within his mouth, along with his sense of smell was how he killed the first mate of the Shade Pirates within the Black Mist. But its due to that Valar’s retreat that made some of his crew come in bad terms with the captain. Not to mention the Marine Captain Falir and the other lieutenant’s abilities……

“We’ll be setting sail for Loguetown!” Alesia ordered. And Falir Crew is still waiting for the Shade Pirates

Handel noted Coyote's concern for the smoke. "...yyyeeeaaaahhh...crew's probably responsible for that. I mean, we could check it out, but part of being a good crew member is not to abandon the post you've been assigned." Handel pulled out a cigarette nonchalantly, lit it and began smoking, making her explanation come off sounding like an excuse to not get off her ass. Also, it wasn't like the captain told her to stay at the ship, Handel had volunteered for that important job all on her own. But as luck would have it, Flint soon returned with word of the crew, verifying that the Black Dragon had indeed joined, just as Arafael had surmised. Speaking of the dog, "Oh yeah, friendly fellow, took an immediate liking to me. Came right on board. But if you're carrying out one of the Captain's hare-brained whims again, sure you can have him. As long as you call him 'Scruffy'."

Handel had to chuckle though, as Flint introduced himself to 'Kurt', expressing confidence that Handel had already vetted the newcomer. She just invited him on-board as collateral against the Marine Lieutenant in wolf's clothing. But soon the oppressive wingspan of Bakuto covered the sky, as the captain and the rest of the crew descended. "Welcome back, Captain, Ship's all in order, and we're ready to sail whenever you'd like. Kurt here wants to go to the Grand Line, or just Loguetown if we're not crossing over just yet. And I see you've already met the dog Flint got for you." Did she intend to reveal that they were harboring a marine Lieutenant on board at some point? Maybe. Did it make matters worse that she was making this more tangled by getting Flint involved? Probably. Was it fun to keep spinning this ridiculous web of lies? Definitely. But considering that they flew back instead of walekd back likely meant that time was of the essence, so Handel set to preparing the ship to sail, ready to unmoor from the dock and unfurl the sails. Calling to Erizala and Coyote, "Just don't accidentally give him chocolate. Shitting your life away is a bad way to go."

Flint replied to her, "Well let's just say I'm good with children. Someone has to, after all, anyway thanks for the save. Come along Scruffy." He didn't know nor really care how this animal got aboard. This would be something to take care of later once things calmed down. Eventually he'd see the dragon, the Cap, and some more new faces coming aboard. It seemed like it was starting to get a bit crowded on this ship with all the people. This might be something he would broach to the captain, he did have plenty on money on hand give or take what would be used on supplies.

"Hey there Cap' here's Scruffy. I hope you like him as there's not taking him back." He said to her as he took a sip of drink from his canteen. He took another as he felt himself refresh after the events that transpired earlier. During that time Alesia gave the orders to set sail for Loguetown. It seems like they'd finally be entering the Grand Line. He wasn't surprised, it was bound to happen. Things would get more interesting once they leave Loguetown.

"Cap' when we get to Loguetown mind if I chat with you about some things?" He said to her before he went off to work. He'd assist in the sailing of the ship. Well as much as he could anyway, with all the new people on it's not like there would be dearth of tasks to be done. After they were set for their destination, he would go back to idling and watching everyone move around. He leaned against the mast and adjusted his shades. He thought about the Mayor's instructions. Hopefully he'd steer clear of any distractions and be able to do this task.

When the group arrived back the the ship Adam quietly removed himself from the group. He had little to say on the matter, and whatever the treasure was he had little interest in that too. All in all the day had been a tiring one, and one that he himself had contributed precious little too. He wondered to himself if he shouldn't just walk off the ship right now. After all what did anyone care if the new guy just put himself somewhere where he could lay down. In doing such Adam made his way below deck to find a cot, or a hammock. Wondering if he could maybe drop ship in the next port and go see if he can make his way back to father. He could point him in a better direction.

Brown Isles Harbour

The pet that Flint bought was surely larger than what she wanted, but it is better than what she’d expect. The whole fiasco surely made the whole ship well known throughout this island, Arafael thought, taking a couple of glances at the crew that took down the Pirate Captain Valar.

“Sure, no problem,” Alesia replied to Flint without much of a concert, as she looked at the treasurer Adam who had went down to sleep at the Hammocks, “We’ll need a few good charts for the voyage of the Grand Line, and on how to split the treasury, anyhow.”

Watching from the Stern, Alesia looked to see the White Pearl setting sail for the waters.

Out at Sea

Setting her quill down on the map of the East Seas, Alesia scribbled out a few charts for the entrance to the next sea, The Grand Line. Loguetown was the island for any decent goods and supplies on the ongoing Voyage. “Tsk…” Letting out an audible click of her tongue, the Captain of the Scarlet Pirates dipped the Quill onto the ink reservoir, before marking the ship current position with a blue ‘X’. About halfway there, and it would be by the next evening that they would ever embark on the next island. Not especially with the unfavourable winds. Alesia thought, before exiting the Captain Quarters with a loud slam on the creaky door. She should’ve been more generous in the purchase of the ship deed…

She pulled on a couple of foremasts’ ropes, to tack onto the winds. And what did the first mate want to talk to her about, that could only be said once they reached the port of Loguetown. And to remind her of a bar, she hoped that the bar of Loguetown wouldn’t be as bad as the one in the Brown Isles.

From the far horizons, a ship could be sighted. Alesia brought off a slight smirk at the faraway ship. “Merchant Ship, Prepare for Pillage---” On a closer look, the ship has something painted on the mast, a symbol of a simplistic drawing of a bird, that is painted in blue. Both terms start with the same alphabet, but the latter aren’t so pleasant as the first. “Those Marine Scums----”

Alesia cursed, the pet wolf of the ship howled at the seemingly familiar Marines.

A drove of birds flew above the White Pearl.

Erizalla would recognise it as the ones from the Bird Tamer Falir. And the last time, the Marine Captain Falir had sent bomb laden seagulls at Valar’s Ship.

"Captain are you for real? Can't the others deal with it? They're just marines right?" complained Adam as he adjusted his knife belt from where he had taken it off. Just in case he was ready, always be ready, to fight never give someone a chance to screw you. But marines were different there were thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of them spread across the world. What did one ship carry usually? Some dumbasses with some guns. They had people who could destroy entire towns on this ship...what measly threat did common foot soldiers have.

Bakuto 'The Living Dragon'

Location: The White Pearl
Interaction: Everyone on the Ship

Bakuto landing on the ship and made his way up the mast and into the crow's nest once the ship. He stayed there most of the trip mostly napping. He did help get the ship going when needed but he spent his time just either gazing out over see or napping in the crows nest. He heard his captain say something about pillaging, something he isn't fond of but he lept out of the crow's nest and lands on deck of the ship when he hears the captain say marines.

Bakuto grabbed the rail of the ship as we walks towards the edge of the ship and he just looks at the marine ship. Squeezing his fist trying to suppress his anger for marines who he use to be a member of he then says without looking away, "What you want to do captain?" He hears he hears Adam say something about them being just marines Bakuto instantly says, "Don't underestimate the marines. While a normal solider might not look like they can challenge most. It is a good way of getting captured. Who ever is in charge of that ship might not be a normal marine."

Bakuto turns and looks at his captain finally looking away from the ship, "We might want to be wary here. If they have a transponder snail they could get a call out and could make our trip to Loguetown a bit more difficult, but this your call captain."

The Marine Sloop, East Sea

“Those aren’t the Shades Pirates,” A marine recruit reported, putting away the telescope. A pigeon flew by along the decks of the Marine ship, landing on the side of the Marine Captain.

“The hearsays are true, someone killed Valar?” Falir, the Captain of the Marines pushed her snail transponder to one side, sitting by the ship railings with her legs crossed, feeding a handful of sunflower seeds to the flock of pigeons. “They have intercepted my letter for Arafael,” Her bright yellow eyes squinted at the Jolly Roger of the Pirate Ship. One of the no name pirates have defeated Valar, from a stab wound.

"That Dragon Marine isn’t the kind to use a blade, but no matter, Bakuto would do.” Falir’s long and neatly combed hair reflects a slight tint of Orange.

“Perhaps we should wait on Arafael, we aren’t so sure on what those pirates could do,” The Marine Lieutenant Shakar folded his well built forearms beneath his Marine Coat.

“Don’t get me started with that stupid wolf!” Flocks of Seagulls flew off the Marine Ship, the Marine Captain turning away and shouting orders, “Prepare to engage!”

The stone faced lieutenant frowned, a few lines of wrinkles creased on his forehead.

The White Pearl
“Right…” Alesia sniffed at the sight of the enemy ship. The sails of the Marine Ship was tackled towards them. The hull of the Marine Ship slanting to meet on its broadsides. “We’ll escape, only after a few exchanges of cannons. The winds favour them...”

Seagulls flew towards the ship of the White Pearl, in droves of Dozens upon dozens.

The loud bark from the crew pet Arafael, had alerted her on those birds. Birds far from the harbour is peculiar enough. Each and every of the seagulls have something held on their claws: Bulky ‘packages’ that are wrapped in various colours. Bombs.

The first drove of bombing birds closens towards the white pearl Ship. As the Marine ship started to meet by the broadsides, a few deck cannons mounted towards the White Pearl.

“Shoot them down! They’re bombs!” Alesia’s Cutlass flashed in a whirling arc, a couple of seagulls swept away from her Thrusting Winds. The birds took off with a spectacular explosion.

Handel appeared on deck, clicking her teeth in irritation. She had caught Marine chatter on her intercepting den den mushi, but had hoped they would be able to avoid them. She wondered if she should have alerted the captain of Arafael's true identity, but now it was perhaps too late. This would be a defining moment for the lieutenant in Handel's eyes, as this was a good opportunity for the wolf to turn on the crew while they were distracted with the bomb-laden seagulls. If he did not, then perhasp he was ready t oleave the marines, or he was simply waiting for to build more trust and would betray them at a better opportunity. On the other hand, Handel could message the Marines, letting them know that sinking the ship would likely result in the death of one of their own. She decided to hold off on that option unless she absolutely had to, ebcause notifying the marines might buy them some time, but it would definitely cause the marines to maintain their focus on this crew because they might think the lieutenant was a hostage or something.

"Bombs, eh?" Handel said monotonously, then joked, "I wonder if they'd still be bombing us if they knew how many marines were on this ship?" Of course, this was meant for Arafael's ears, but to everyone else, they would probably just think that Handel was referring to herself and Bakuto. She dragged her bass to the edge of the railing, held the strings on the neck at a specific chord, and gave the strings a long, sustained draw with her bow, releasing an inaudible hum that could be felt through the ship. This sent forth a concussive blast of sonic energy that spread out in a hemisphere towards the seagulls, its lower edge visible as a ripple on the surface of the water. Such a force, though unlikely to do real harm to a human, was still harmful to birds, who had brittle bones by comparison due to needing to be lighter to sustain flight. There was also the possibility that such a concussive force might cause primed explosives to detonate prematurely. At minimum, the sudden, sharp, undulating changes in air pressure would make flying difficult for such small creatures.

Bakuto 'The Living Dragon'

Location: The White Pearl
Interaction: Everyone on the Ship

'Well looks like the marines want a fight oh well guess it couldn't be stopped.' Bakuto thought to himself as he sees the ship move its way towards the White Pearl. Deciding to stay in his human form he didn't want to make this battle a great fiery disaster like he did in the brown isle.

He saw the doves coming in and the moment he hears the captain say they are bombs. "Shoot them down alright captain will do." Bakuto started to spit small flames of fire out at the birds. If they were going to carry bombs he might as well set them off early before they can be dropped. Using the smallest amount of fire to avoid burning the white pearl but trying to use enough to burn the birds in between attacks Bakuto says, "Maybe...some..one should take...care of their sails." Getting rid of the bomb birds was one thing but Bakuto sees the ship chasing them the bigger threat. As they wont be able to get away as long as the marines have the wind in their favor chasing the white pearl.

Bomb dropping birds isn't a normal marine move or at least not one that Bakuto knew of from his time among them. Either this was a special unit of some sort or just a group that randomly uses. Bakuto hoping these were just normal bombs and not some devil fruit user who makes bombs. Devil fruit users of the marines from Bakuto's memory normally were high ranking officers and have notably skills when dealing with pirates. If they were facing a high ranking officer getting away could be more difficult than it seemed before with the marines having the wind in their favor.

Aboard The White Pearl

That crazy Captain…. Arafael sneered at the sight of the seagulls. He was sure that the decision was of hers and hers alone. What have that old man Shakar been doing all this time.

Behind the railing of the marines ship was a tall lady of a neatly ironed Marine Uniform. A tall, young girl with golden, drooping down straight across the shoulders, a bristle dangling on the railings. She had a wooden staff, and alongside her was an old man, donned with a Marine coat. Beside her was a short old man with a few strands of grey. A longsword was by his side, the hilt & crossguard have a glint of sapphire.

Upon the tune of Handel’s Violin, the birds’ packages explodes into a rather spectacular fireworks. The Dragonfire burnt the remaining seagulls into a crisps. Both the pirate and the navy ship met each other by the broadsides, both ships are open to one another’s of their cannons, or even bullets. Those seagulls flew back to the Marine Ship, following the loading of the cannon from the Marine Side.

“Bakuto, can you torch them?” Alesia asked, the booming sound of the cannon fire rang across the horizons as a couple of cannonballs whizzed towards the ship of the White Pearl. Alesia deflected a cannonball with another one of the thrusting winds from her cutlass.

Bakuto 'The Living Dragon'

Location: The White Pearl
Interaction: Everyone on the Ship

Taking out the birds the seagulls surprising to Bakuto actually worked as planned he could see he marines gathering on their side of the boat. He didn't have time to think about the old men or the lady standing at those railings as the cannons come out and start firing. He then said, "Oh seems the marines didn't forget their cannons!"

Bakuto then hears the captain ask if he could torch them. Bakuto then answers as the captain fends off the cannon shots, "Which their cannons or their ship? Not going to lie, I could do both. While taking out their cannons might be simple, their ship, I cant guarantee that I can without burning our ship in the process. Not to mention any wrong moves then I'll be going into the sea and I cant swim for obvious reasons but..." Pausing for a second to transform into his humanoid zoan form then punches a cannonball away from the ship then says with a rougher voice thanks to his dragon form he had taken on, "I should be able to take out the cannons without burning our ship too much."

While he was speaking with big bravado, he wasn't entirely sure he could take out the marines cannons without going to the full zoan dragon form the fire blast then would be the strength of a cannon his zoan humanoid form was strong but it lacked the power the other. Bakuto breathes in then releases a torrent fiery orange and yellow flame pillar he releases towards the cannons. At the least, he could scorch the marines ship and maybe heat up the cannons or set the ship ablaze.

The White Pearl & Marine Ship

The dragonfire roared at the navy ship. Even at the lesser form, the Dragonfire shone a bright shadow over the mainmasts. Shakar's drawing of the sword of sapphire coloured hilt was as silent as the night, without even the slightest ring or screech. The Dragonfire was shredded into tiny ribbons from the one slash of Lieutenant Shakar’s blade. Some people whom are more familiar with the marines will realize that the handle & crossguard of that old man’s sword is made of Seastone.

“What the….” Alesia sneered at the sight of the blade. It wasn’t just blocking Dragonfire like that Valar did. She had almost thought the blade sprung alive for a moment. The Marine ship veered towards the White Pearl, following the exchange of cannonfires and Dragonfires. Ramming onto the White Pearl Ship, the Marines started to board the ship of the White Pearl. Alesia grasped a rope of the Ship Riggings, and boarded the Marine Ship. Alesia knew what she should do following a ship boarding: Take down the captain of the ship. She got past a few Marines with a few uses of Gales and Winds of her blade. The air soothed down, in front of an old man, the same one that had shredded Dragonfire. That must be the Captain.

The stances of the Hills and Cavalry, or something that goes along the line. But that stance was so to conceal the length of the blade, its irrelevant if she had seen the full length of the Longsword.

Alesia charged in with a swing of her blade towards the opponent. The corner of Shakar’s eyes glinted towards Alesia. Not good! Alesia twisted the path of the blade following the menacing sound of the longsword fuller. The light weight allows her to do so. Despite so, the hilt of Shakar’s soared towards her, pommeling Alesia at the ribs. She gasped for breath, not from the attack, but it was as if she was struck down by the sea itself. Alesia crashed onto the Deck floor, her ability to change weight drained by that Seastone handle of that old man. Just what in the hell is that thing…?

“You show too much hesitation in your attacks, young pirate,” Shakar said, as Alesia got up and fended off an onslaught of slashes, albeit barely. She grabbed the railings to keep herself from standing. Almost drowned from that Blue Crossguard. That guy’s blade was of any regular steel, much to her relief, but that doesn’t make it any less dangerous. “A fruit that can change weight, from the looks of it, and there might be more of those, 'Captain Falir'.”

Shakar voiced the last few words in a lesser regard.

Bakuto 'The Living Dragon'

Location: The White Pearl and Marine Ship
Interaction: Everyone on the Ship

Quickly Bakuto cut off his fire attack after seeing the attack cut to ribbons. Bakuto feared this part because there are marines that are highly skilled in combat doing things that might seem like miracles with their trained weapons. Bakuto sees the captain boarding the marine's ship and decides to do join the captain boarding the ship figuring he would have better luck damaging the ship with his strength if his fire attack could not get the job done.

Once on the ship Bakuto starts hitting marines looking as if he was just poking people with his claws very quickly. Using the finger pistol/Shigan ability, using his zoan transformation to enhance his strength and damage of the attack. He was trying to work his way to the mast of the marines ship thinking he can take it down with a few full power punches. He sees the captain get stopped though and sees what he needed to take a moment to think what he saw, 'That sword's hilt it is...' As his thoughts are interrupted by his own words, "Captain watch out, these marines have sea prism stone! They cancel out devil fruit..." Bakuto was cut off by a few bullets fired at him.

The bullets bounce off the scales of Bakuto lizard human body, then with all his strength strikes his fist down onto the deck of the ship. Normally he can break boulders in this form so using all his strength on the wooden deck hoping to get the attention of the swordsmen that was targeting the captain. Bakuto lets out an intimidating growl letting out his more primal dragon side as he just lets loose on the ship.

"Quiet you!" Clint pulled at Arafel's scruff as the dog barked at the boat. His annoyance grew as the boat which was full of marines began to attack them. They were trying to bomb them with these birds with bombs on them. Luckily for him, at least he had a weapon for to hit the flying birds. Shells and feathers littered the wooden planks of the ship as he blasted at the birds with his shotgun.

He watched as The Captain ordered Bakuto to spew flames are the marine ship only for the captain to slice away with a series of slashes. Flint's eye narrowed as he realized that sword had seastone on it. The presence of that sword would no doubt inconvenience the handful of devil fruit afflicted crew members. And of course Alesia had to jump headfirst and fight against the captain. With his guardian instinct kicking in, he would follow her too.

Before he did that however, he'd reload a different type of shell into his gun and then take the leap into enemy ship. He pulled the triggers one by one. Each pull triggering a plume of fire. One aimed at the sails and the other aimed the captain. It wasn't as good as more conventional shot or slugs but it should do the work of what he wanted. "Hey Cap, gotta be more careful. Be a shame to have you fall into the drink you know."

The White Pearl

In midst of the battle Arafael straddled himself towards the side of the ship, before taking for himself for another nap. Its better for him to stick to the current plans, and get to Loguetown, steadfast. Its unlikely for the marines to sink this ship, still. And for their crew set of plans, Shakar would see to how things fulfill themselves. And now to talk about Shakar, that captain and the Dragon is challenging a swordfight with that old man. The smell of gunpowder was ever as irritating to his keen nose. A few of the bounties is due to being born to a wanted criminal, not that he has any opinions of that sort of thing. But that would be of what he sees, from his own sense of ‘Justice’

And he got grabbed by the scruff. Reluctantly, Arafael quieted down his howls to a lone whimper. He had to play his part here for now, convincingly.

The Marine Ship

Bakuto slammed on the ship deck, cracks on the surface forms. Sea Prism stones, she’d swore to herself not to touch on those things. That explains on the drowning, but that dragon seemed to be a whole lot of knowledgeable of those Marines. Another swing on that old man’s blade and she know how things would end up.

The giddiness on that drowning attack was gone for now, Alesia shifted herself into her full weight. “Ten Tonnes.” The entire marine ship tilted from the sudden change of the weight, as she evaded a slicing wind that would land on both of them if they had not done so. Marine soldiers scrambled to maintain their foothold on the less than stable ship, as the effort from both Bakuto and Alesia sank a good hole down the lower decks. The Slicing Winds swooped past above the place where they both used to be. That Lieutenant Shakar is clearly stronger than what his rank might suggest.

Shakar delivered a thrusting blow off his sword. Winds soared from the blade of Shakar, fanning away the fumes of the bullet. But, only for the flare that was aimed at him. The other fume hit a hole in the mainmasts of the marine ship, before it singes itself out. But it was good enough, should the crew decide to outrun the Marines at least.

“The captain sure likes to stick her noses into my battles…” Shakar sighed, taking a few glances on his long sword before asking Flint, “Just a question, does that lady with the violin happen to call herself ‘Handel’?”

Flock of crows emerged from the other side of the Marine ship, in drove by droves, it soared down towards the place where Flint was standing. “Falir’s crows doesn’t have bombs on them, but they’re very distracting.” Shakar's blade gleamed on the evening light.

The Lower Decks

“We’ve got some cover now, thanks for the help.” Alesia whispered to Bakuto below the crater hole, created from the help of that dragon and the sudden weight. Remembering that, Alesia changed back to her normal weight. The lower decks, the Quarters of the marine soldiers are mostly empty due to the ongoing battle. But that serves as a better place for her, now that they can hide away from that old man. “Now we can burn the hull from here~”
