Damian had ran into his first brick wall. Having filtered the system for those with a criminal record and quirks matching the description of a woman with a scorpion tail, the final results showed no one. There were around 500 women with notable tails as part of their quirks, but none of them could be described as scorpion like, and those were just the ones in San Francisco. This could mean many things; the woman he was looking for might not have a criminal record, or simply that if she did have one it's not in this state. Her tail may not actually be scorpion like or even her actual quirk. There has certainly been a rise of technological villains using various gadgets that makes even professional heroes think their quirks are based off their tools. Regardless though, Damian found nothing useful.

He couldn't feel frustrated though. He knew it would be too easy for his first search to yield any meaningful results. But now he wasn't really sure where to go from here. He had already narrowed it down to quirks, history, and location. He didn't really know anything else about this villain that he could trace. Just as he was about to give up his search and try to find more evidence a student entered the library. Eira; one of the students who was at the factory. And if he remembered correctly, one of the few students to actually fight said scorpion lady. Just the person he was looking for.

"Eira. Just the person I wanted to talk to. Could you help me track down those villains who attacked you last Friday?" Damian noticed another student too, Judith. She had been reading her book so Damian didn't really pay attention to her until she started looking around like she just woke up. Which in hindsight is probably why she seemed so engrossed in her book. Damian thought that was funny.

Eira Winters ❄ Antartica

@OwO@Ryonara

So, it seemed like mentally willing someone to do something did not work. It also seemed like there was something else she wasn't particularly prepared for, and that was Judith. Somehow, the two had never spoken before. Maybe it was just down to bad luck. The smaller girl stood up, and said something. 'Sour'. It was safe to say that Eira had no idea what that meant. Perhaps she was still out of it from the nap she'd evidently just had. Eira awkwardly nodded at her, but wasn't really sure what to say. There wasn't much to say, they straight up didn't know each other at all.

"Thank you," she decided.

Next, Damian, despite Eira's best (entirely mental) efforts, did say something. Something about the villain attack. She could help with that, even if she wasn't in the mood to do so. How heroic of him to be trying to track down villains even when he was in school. In all fairness, it wasn't as if there was anything better to be doing.

"Villains? Hmm," she paused. "My memory isn't great, but I remember some things. Birds... lots of birds. Not sure exactly what that quirk was, but there were many, many birds. Scorpion lady - nicked me in the back of my neck. Then I had some kind of out of body experience, think that might be because of the sting though. Gabriella got full on paralysed? I think. So I'm assuming it's just a more minor dose of that. Maybe it's a different quirk altogether, but I don't like the sound of that."

She sighed and paused again, lost in thought for another minute. "I don't suppose you can find anyone with a quirk that makes the entire class act gloomy as shit, though. Because that's definitely on the table at this point."

He nodded back at Noxious after she had agreed with him. It was a strange thought that they'd probably never see Jackie again - but, oh well. It wasn't their fault that she had gone and got captured on their first mission. And Dean supposed that it was bad luck that the heroes had arrived when they did - but if you can't get your way out of bad luck effectively, then she was never going to be able to make it when they got to the real missions as a group, when the pro-heroes would be the main focus, not some equipment laying in a warehouse.

Ah. After all that, they were still here to break someone out. Well, not break someone out - intercept a transfer. The orders were beginning to get slightly tiring. And he didn't really agree with breaking somebody out who had gotten themselves captured in the first place. But if they were going to bring down hero society, some principles had to be suspended. They would need all the numbers that they could get. It would be rather foolish to miss an opportunity to put some... well, literal firepower back into their ranks. It could be done, then.

Dean raised his eyebrow when Noxious then went on to tell the group that she wouldn't be coming with them. He only hoped that she would be doing something more important, not just that she couldn't be bothered, or didn't want to risk getting herself captured. Dean wasn't surprised that more villains would be arriving to assist them. San Francisco was a big city, and it was certainly filled to the brim with a wide selection of villains to choose from for a task like this. More villains meant that they could put up more of a fight agains the pro heroes next time.

"Alright. So, where are these new villains? Are we just waiting for them to arrive?"

Marionetta Molly

"Not anymore, you're not."

The answer to Dean's question was carried into the room by a velvety-smooth woman's voice, deepened by her maturity. Looking in the direction it came from, any of the villains in the room would be able to see one of the aforementioned new villains; a woman dressed in a flowing, puffed-up ballgown of black and white, adorned with a large white bow cut in the shape of a bat's wings, wearing a mask over her eyes and nose. Her body, leaning forward at an angle a normal person would struggle to maintain, appeared to glide over the ground, the gentle sound of her footwear scraping along the stone floor audible to the ear. In actuality, her body was being pulled forward by the many thread-thin tentacle muscles that gripped the room's ceiling, sticking and un-sticking as needed to carry her forward toward the table both Corvus and Sharkman had taken a seat at. Her hand reached forward toward a chair to pull it out from the table, then her body rose up into the air for a brief moment as the invisible threads controlling her deposited her body into the seat.

If she were to tell the truth, her arrival at that moment wasn't quite as serendipitous as it seemed; she'd arrived not long after Corvus, and had been waiting outside of the room listening to the conversation, partly to gauge the personalities of her cohorts-to-be, and to try to find a nice dramatic moment to enter. Both of these things she'd succeeded at, to differing degrees.

"You may refer to me as Marionetta. Would anyone like to hazard a guess at my quirk?" she asked, quite certain that any smart person in the room would be able to put together by her demonstration just now, and her name, that she manipulates her body from the outside, at the very least. "I know it's a touch rude to request you all to humor me right out of the gate. I figured it would make a good icebreaker."

Renard sighed when all he heard was ‘what ever.’ He didn’t have time to do anything when three more girls suddenly appeared. The blue haired one giving him a wink. He smiled only slightly. Before she went towards gabby. He felt it strange they called them ‘heros’ he didn’t think they really did anything. Course rumors get altered by each person who tells it.

The dark haired girl then started to stir the pot. He gritted his teeth as she mentioned sofia. He didn’t say anything though. Contiplating on just leaving instead.

They then said they wanted to spar or to leave. He walked back to where his bag was, and freya. Sitting down. “Big talk from someone who didn’t see what happened there. You don’t get to talk about it, or our class..” He said matter of factly.

He motioned to the others. “If you want to train, your free too. But don’t speak crap about our class again.” He said starting to rub his leg once again.

While peter was practicing. He didn’t notice a white haired girl under a tree her legs crossed. Texting casually on her phone while listing to some oldies punk rock. Her phone vibrating ever few moments with texts.

She glanced every once and a while at the boy training. She thought he was going to be interesting at first. Dark haired tall boy who looked mysterious. But she couldn’t help but laugh with a pfft as she saw he could only turn into a rock. Like… a rock. Not a rock boy. Not a steel boy. But a rock. Some super hero Material right there.

She sighed and dropped her phone In her lap. Growing bored with texting the bois for a minute. He leaned back against the tree as she looked at the kid training In front of her. Her head cocked to the side. She didn’t know him, just that he was in another class of school. He had to have been bored turning into a ‘rock’ and back again. And she wanted to mess with someone.

She lifted her hands and both of them glowed softly. Two bearded dragon lizards formed in each. They quickly lept off her hands and alarmly quickly sped towards the boy silently.

She picked her phone up and changed the song. She looked up in time to see the lizards run around peter when he was resting. One of them distracting him by running circles around him, while the other zipped up his pants to his shoulder.

By the time he noticed the one on his shoulder, it was staring at him. Instantly it opened its mouth and it’s tongue shot out and into the boys ear. Followed by a loud laugh behind him. The two lizards disappearing as she started to cover her mouth.

Shift, shape, cancel. Peter didn't do much else but that for a long time. Occasionally he might roll around if he was feeling restless, but he knew he had to keep up his training. He was slowly starting to get somewhere though, as he was able to start to form some misshapen rock forms intentionally. They weren't perfect, but the fact he could make them look so strange was a step in the right direction. Eventually Peter took a moment to rest next to a small pile of rubble he dug up during his rolling around. Just a couple of sand stones and a wooden plank, likely shrapnel from a target dummy off in the distance. He was going to toss them somewhere off the sand when he noticed a lizard running around him. "What the fuck?"

That's when he realized there was another lizard on his shoulder. How it managed to get there without him noticing surprised him as he started flailing around int he air trying to throw it off before they both vanished. Then he heard some girl behind him laugh and he quickly figured out that this was likely her quirk. Kneeling down into the sand Peter set up a crude little catapult using the rocks and stone. As he stood on the stick being held up by a sandstone, he dropped a sizable rock onto the stick just as he transformed into a small pebble, sending him flying roughly in the direction of the girl.

It wasn't as clean as he'd hoped, but with some spinning and rolling he'd end up pretty close to her. Once he came to a stop Peter came out of pebble form, standing just a few feet away from her. He seemed angry at first, but then he just smirked. "Didn't know heaven sent an angel to watch over me. Name's Peter."

Stepping foot into the academy for the first time filled Chloe with excitement and wonder. This was the land of beginnings and ends. The wind blew through her making Desmond shiver, Chloe could sense a small amount of sadness in the air, unsure of the cause. Releasing to small braids two long tendril like hairs touched the ground feeling around Chloe, essentially acting has guide. "Why don't we go for a wonder, I'm sure there's somewhere important we have to go but why not take a small tour and enjoy ourselves for a little bit, hehehe a small amount of indulgence wouldn't hurt."

During her stroll, Chloe began to sense a strong aura of transformation around her, whispering under her breath. "Ah, you sense him too don't you Desmond? Let's go for a little observation, shall we?" A small walk towards the fidgeting aura she could sense exhaustion and anger. Feeling a small subsistence beneath her shoes she touched it with her finger, rubbing it against her finger tips. "What is this, are they training in this strange material? Hmm... I think I've read about this mineral before, yet I can't quite remember the name..." Flicking the speck of sand away, Chloe was suddenly intrigued by the sudden appearance of new life forms.

"Good greetings you two." Turning towards Peter, Chloe tilted her head, shifting the weight of hair and placed her fingertip on her lip as if puzzled in thought. "Might I enquire as to what this method of training is? I can sense the shifting of your form, it's incredibly intriguing, I've only ever read of quirks similar to that!" With a small giggle she pointed to her eyes hidden behind the bandage. "But I'm sure you can SEE I'm no expert on quirks Ahahaahahaah!" Chloe let out a hearty laugh.

"You there as well, the female capable of producing life!" Chloe exclaimed turning towards Dawn. "Never have I ever been able to experience such a phenomenon such as that. Watching your aura increase in intensity, splitting off into two smaller auras was a marval."

"I'm sorry if the joke was inappropriate, I'm Chloe, it's an incredible pleasure." With a small curtsy Chloe greeted the duo, "The banter between you two is rather humorous ahaha, I wish to make friends as close as you two." Chloe ended in a smile blissfully unaware that the duo never met until just now.

As she managed to stop laughing she looked to see the boy playing around in the sand, not sure what he was doing. It became clear when he suddenly turned into a pebble and flung himself towards her. Like….Really? He couldn't just walk over here. She was only a short distance away. Clearly he was trying to ‘impress’ her with his…’skill’. To which he didn’t even get that far, rolling the last few feet until he was standing right beside her.

She pulled her head back slowly with a thin eyebrow raised at him while the other scrunched down in a semi glare. Why did he have to get so close. Weirdo. Now, Dawn was used to boys hitting on her. She enjoyed it, and she enjoyed flirting with boys. But it’s come to the point where she was critical of how they flirted.

His pickup line was cringe. She rolled her eyes when he spoke. Taking a mental look at herself, her black nails, her short slightly spiked hair, the Heavy metal music the boy surely could hear over the headphones cause she was blaring them. Indicators she was not the ‘perfect girl’ like her little sister now. She got it, claiming she was an angel was to tell her she was beautiful. One point. Minus 10 for saying watching over him. Though he might need one if he continued to stand so close.

She didn’t answer him, she pursed her lips in thought and picked up her phone and finished the text she was working on. “Pebbles? Odd name.” She said while she looked at her phone. After a moment she glanced up without moving her head. “You know, that would have been a SMIDGE more smooth if you didn’t freak out over some lizards just moments before….” She said while pinching her forefinger and thumb barely together. Looking up while sticking her tongue out at him for a split second. A cheeky grin on her face as she thought about what her lizard did.

”Or… trying to ‘show off’ by ‘catapulting’ yourself over here. When you could have easily walked. I'm sure whatever angel is ‘watching’ over you is slapping themselves in the forehead at this moment. I'll give you an ‘E’ for effort though.

This was the moment the girl named Chloe introduced herself. Making a joke that was rather on the nose with her pointing to it at her own expense. Dawn smirked slightly, she always had a respect for those who tried to make jokes about their handicaps. Though she thought this one was quite weird in presentation. She spoke oddly, and how she worded things made it sound like this girl was extremely sheltered. Homeschooled perhaps? She cocked her head to the side as she looked up at the girl from her seat in the grass. Before getting up. Taking this moment to take a few steps away from the weirdo boy towards the girl named Chloe.

“It’s not inappropriate if you’re the one making the joke. But just to clarify, pebbles and I are not close…He was just trying to get to know me.” She said, glancing back at Peter for a moment before turning back to Chloe. ”Oh, I’m Dawn by the way … How did you see my quirk if you...ehm..Cant see?”

Seth Moore ~ Wonderland

Seth couldn't believe he was going to be late to his villain meeting. So, against all of his best interests, he began to leg it, all the way to the prison.

He burst into the door not too long after Marionetta, panting heavily and not nearly as composed as she had been. He cast a glance over the others in the room, and immediately stood up straighter. Seth smoothed out his clothes and hair as subtly as he could, which was not saying much. He continued to watch his new allies, trying to take a stab at what their quirks would be. Some of them were obvious, like the scorpion lady, but as you would expect, the non-mutation ones were kind of hard to figure out. It didn't stop him from making a few guesses.

He pulled out a chair and promptly collapsed into it. "Mornin'," he drawled, sitting up straighter. First impressions are important, and he had just realised that he may have messed his own up. "Name's Wonderland, real one available upon request, my birthday is probably in April, and the only thing I got A+ on is my blood test. It's lovely to meet you all, I'm sure we'll all get along great."

Seth leaned in a bit further. He still couldn't tell much about the rest of his allies, though he had only just arrived. He didn't even know their names - well, except for Marionetta, he'd been able to catch the end of that conversation. He pointed at her. "You. Your quirk is..." He had no idea. He'd missed her demonstration. "Being a goth. Right?" It was a fair guess. Seth got those kinds of vibes from her. As for the others, his predictions were: being British, scorpion tail that did something, something to do with gas, and then a guy with a mask who he couldn't figure out at all.

He would learn about their quirks eventually. After all, they had to work together. Seth wasn't one for the whole power of friendship shtick, but if that was what it took, he would do it.

Yi smiled as three of his fellow students decided to join in. Though he did frown slightly at the fact Kerianne said she needed a moment. A flash of respect and concern passed through his head. He believed one should always strive to push themselves to the point they drop, because without doing so, you can never know how far you can push yourself. However, this didn’t mean someone couldn’t over do it. He had heard of Keriannes accident. He was glad to see she was fine, but the fact she was pushing herself so soon, gave him a hint of worry.

It wasn’t his place to stop her...yet. But he was pleased to see that she was willing. As for Gabby he was excited as well...always wanting a chance to confirm his theories and figure out how to get around her repelling quirk without his own.

As for Breeze he looked to her as she agreed and pulled her rubber knife out. He had always thought her quirk was interesting, and would have loved to have had it from time to time. Just imagining how many kung fu weapons he could store on his body. But he had to be sure never, ever use his quirk on her. Who knows what would happen if he accidentally activated it with those weapons or items inside her.

As the others prepared, he didn’t move from his spot, his arms tucked behind him as his left hand gripped his right arm’s wrist. While Breeze yelped at the sound of the newcomers he simply glanced over towards them. His face blank of any emotion.

He was admittedly annoyed with the girl called Erika. But it didn’t show. He was thankful that Kerianne decided to introduce him so he didn’t have to though it was slightly odd she only introduced him. That was a different subject to dwell on later. While the others spoke up, offering them to stay and train with them he remained silent and still.

At the end of it though he gave a simple smile as he made sure to look directly into Erika’s eyes and said softly. It is easy to criticize and break down the spirit others. But to know yourself takes a Lifetime. A quote from a master he admired and based his training philosophy on. He allowed it to sink in for a moment before adding. Hearing bits and pieces of what happened, from other sources. Is hardly an acceptable form of knowing what actually happened there. How do you honestly know of what they did? How can you know how they felt? How could you know if you could do better? If you were not there? Unless you somehow managed to fight and survive an attack from six villains as well.

He kept his tone soft and inquisitive. As if expecting her to answer them. His head tilted to the side as he didn’t look away from her eyes. He then added, ”Train if you like, make friends, but let us not try and pick fights with each other. That is unbecoming of a hero.”

Damian quietly entered in the information that Eira told him about. He suspected that a woman with a scorpion tail would have venom, though he doubts that specifying it would give him any more results. If nothing else at least, he could expand the search for any woman with either a scorpion tail or venom powers. A man with a bird quirk was good to know though. Bird controlling, bird summoning, some avian superpower. That was another lead he could start with. Putting the information into the checklist Damian now needed to wait for the new results. Eira also wondered if there was anyone with a depressive quirk since it seemed to have affected everyone in class. He just laughed this off as a joke.

"I'm sure there is. Or maybe everyone is just taking it pretty hard. I mean, makes sense. From what I heard what happened wasn't... Good." Damian wished he could say anything to help make them feel better, but he knew from experience all the encouragement in the world was only going to be a bandage for the wounds that needed time to heal. Last thing he wanted to do was shove his sympathies in their face. No he wanted to do something more practical than that, and that was to actually find out who these people are. "Even with the school's vast resources and government assistance to take down these villains, data, statics, and trophies don't mean anything to basic surveillance and and boots on the ground." Damian put his laptop away as he started loading his things into a bag.

"Normally I'd do the polite thing and ask you how you're feeling about all of this because I'm sure you have a lot of thoughts considering how you did. But you're also a proud independent woman who doesn't need my pity so I'll skip straight to the point. I'm going to head out and talk to some people in some shady parts of town and gather information about who these villains are. I'll likely run into some trouble and I could use the backup. So instead of sitting in the library doing homework you know you can finish at home, want to tag along with me and actually accomplish something?"

In hindsight Peter felt like a fool for trying so hard. He just got all flustered seeing some girl who likely also saw him freak out when the lizards started crawling all over him, and chances are she's the one who sent them over to him. Now she was sassing him and he wasn't sure if he should feel angry or more embarrassed. So instead he just laughed. He couldn't let himself get upset by this girl's prank. "Glowing like an angel, but with a sharp devil's tongue. I can dig it." Another girl came over, a stranger one at that. She had some sort of blindfold on that made Peter slightly worried if she was okay walking around by herself, but then again she was at a hero school. Even if she wasn't part of the hero course most students here had a solid grasp of both their qurik's strengths and drawbacks.

"Well, howdy. Name's Peter. The other girl, Dawn, didn't seem too interested in Peter anymore. Suited him just fine. As for your question, just doing some conditioning with my quirk. Transforming in and out of my stoneshape takes up my stamina, so I'm conditioning myself so it won't be as taxing. That and I'm trying to manipulate my form too. Different textures, different shapes, basically do anything more than just be a giant rock. Sure sure, you'd think I'd learn how to do that by now, but it was hard enough learning how to change size and moving around. Just means I have more potential." Dawn was curious about how the girl, Chloe, could see them. But Peter just figured it had to do with this girl's quirk, whatever it was. It usually is.

"By the way Sunshine," Peter walked up to look at Dawn, giving her a smirk. "I was minding my own business when you decided to come onto me. How could I possibly ignore you, especially when you were playing around with me? Of course if you're done, I suppose I could always hang out with Chloe too." He turned his attention back to the blindfolded girl. "You haven't seen nothing yet."

Arachne || Judith Astera

Huh. Did that boy just 'strong independent woman' someone? Wait, that wasn't important. What was important (and considerably more interesting) was what happened. While Judith had heard a few things through the grapevine of what happened, getting the stories firsthand made the picture considerably clearer. The information that Eira had given out, unfortunately, had not been something that Judith could shed a new light on. She did know a few people that might, though. Emphasis on 'might'. The people who she knew weren't exactly reliable.

The entire internet searching of the guy wasn't going to go too hot. After all, properly using a search engine was an art form. Searching up 'bird' 'man' 'group' was infinitely more likely to show the hottest new k-pop sensation of bird quirk possessing superstars instead of a villain. Same with 'scorpion' 'girl' 'stinger' 'venom'; there was a better chance of spotting a local news article of "family shocked that girl who played with scorpion gets stung". Point is, the boy needed to empower his search with quotation marks, ORs, "-"s, and possibly even Around(x). Wait, that wasn't the point at all. He was right. Actually going and investigating would be considerably more helpful that just lazing around and doing nothing.

"Oh." Judith's head lazily straightened. "I think I miiiight know some people who can help~" She paused to find a perfect reason to third-wheel a random couple. "You'd prob-ab-ly get in trouble for going into a daaangerous area with just one person, so I'm coming along too~. Let's see if we can't fix everyone's sourness~"

Eira Winters ❄ Antartica

@OwO@Ryonara

Eira was a little startled by the request. She wasn't really sure what she expected Damian to say, but that certainly wasn't it. But he did make some good points, and she was in the mood for something a little less boring. Not to mention, she was getting sick of school and everyone in it. It wouldn't hurt to do some extra investigatory work from time to time.

"As it should be. I don't want to talk about last Friday, not because I'm upset but because I'm fucking sick of it. I think I could live with playing detective for a little bit. I'm in," Eira said, smirking. "Let's just hope we don't get ourselves killed, hm?"

Judith spoke up next. Eira wasn't sure how the airhead could even know the sorts of people Damian was after, but you never really know with those types. "You make it sound like we can't say no," she said to the smaller girl, but it was clear from her tone that she wasn't going to argue with her about it. Eira didn't have any issues with her tagging along. Judith wasn't that bad, even if she was a bit odd and had only ever said thirty words to Eira. And she was right that having more people would be better. "Alright then. That's three of us - I think that's enough. Mainly because I don't want anyone else, they're all busy moping anyway. Will that be all?"

"I've yet to see anything? yet to see? ..." Repeated Chloe, she began to snicker and then burst into laughter, unable to hold it in. "Ahahaha! Oh my! You're rather humorous aren't you ahahahaah! Ha..." Chloe regained her composure. "Ah, my own quirk also gives brings me great strain, as of current, using it too much can cause quite the exhausting experience, I've yet to have a large amount of formal training in terms of strengthening my capacity but I suppose that's what this institute is for, no?" Chloes voice carried her excitement.

"To be surrounded by so many people with different quirks is such a dream. I can't wait to observe and interact with all of you!" Once again regaining her composure. "A transformation perk such as yours could lead to wondrous feats, who is to know where you could go! Please, allow me to aid you if at all possible in the future ahaha." Chloe smiled, she finished her spiel before turning to Dawn.

Pondering how to explain her third eye Chloe gave it her best attempt. "Well, it's rather difficult to explain, since I can remember I have been without sight. My grandfather, used to teach me the arts of detection and meditation so as to not rely on my quirk so much. Essentially, with the removal of my sense of sight I've slowly heightened my various senses. But this strength of mine appears to be of some other height. I can.. Hmm.. How do I put this..." Chloe mumbled to herself unsure of how to continue.

"Well, I see these coloured blobs! And these coloured blobs are your aura! If I focus enough the aura will take a more precise shape but I'm still working on that. Whilst I can see these auras most of the time, if I'm unfocused I will even lose this otherworldly sight. That is to say, if I were to panic, I will become truly blind to everything around me." Chloe then shrugged her shoulders.

"But I'm quite strong despite how I look, I'm not easily shaken." Smiled Chloe. Quickly gasping in surprise, Chloe continued.
"Oh my! I completely forgot to even answer your question during my long monologue ahaha! The reason I could see your quirk is due to the small life forms you created. Your own aura began to glow brightly and then separated into small auras which acted on their own."

Chloe had been talking about herself and abilities for some length, hopefully the duo could understand her but if they needed further information they need just ask and she would answer. Chloe fanned herself with her hand for a moment.

"Well then I think I've now made two lifelong friends. Aside from the servants at home, and the man who drove me to this school, you two are quite honestly the nicest people I've met in my life ahaha! What shall we do know, perhaps get something to eat and drink? I've read that is the usual tendency for friends such as us. I would really like to try something called... A Ham.. Hamburg...Ah, Hamburger! Do they have those here?" Asked Chloe. "I'm not sure what else to do for the moment as I was called to become a student rather suddenly and don't yet know my way around."

"You figured wrong." Noxious said, cutting any chit chat short. She, for one, was fully aware of all of their Quirks as they were recommended to her to be part of the team. Although she cared nothing for guessing games, she still remained silent - maybe because she didn't want to outright spoil this newcomer's fun straight away, remembering how bad she made a first impression...but probably more due to the fact that she didn't care enough to say anything more on the subject.

In the end, it didn't matter as Seith played her game. Noxious sighed and waved it off, continuing on talking. "As you guys have guessed, these here are your new friends. And this..." she said as she pointed once more to the screen as it displayed an accurate map of a part of the city with a big circle around one particular junction "...is where you'll stop the prison convoy. Free Animus, any other villains and whatever gets out of that truck will be diversion, at best. Once Animus is back in action, we'll kick things in second gear. The Helicopter is waiting for you on the roof. They will take you straight to the location where you'll wait for the truck. "

As she said this, Noxious closed the computers and everything and began walking out of the room. "Ah yeah. Before I forget - Anarchy Red, you're team leader on this one. I know you guys don't exactly stick to plans, but for what it's worth I figure it's best to have one. Don't forget - you'll be paid as you get back. For the previous job and for this one, plus extra. That's in case loyalty and the promise of an equal society isn't enough motivation for you." With these last words, Noxious took her leave once more, playing her cold, silent act.

Back at the School's Gym, there was a very short lived silence as Momo stared, surprised, at Gabriella's copy cat move. Then, progressively, life came back to her face as her lips and eyes went from surprise to happy in the blink of an eye.

"Wow! That's the Spirit! Erika, you see that? Those guys are cool !" To which comment Erika simply rolled her eyes and sighed, seemingly tired, before speaking up;

"Yeah, Momo, we know - you say that about everything that so much as looks at you funny." Then, she fell silent as this guy spoke up. Yi, the other one called him? Erika listened to him in silence, each seconds of which she looked ever so more tired. "Alright, alright" she said at the end of his speech "We are heroes and all that, I get it. So - you still want to train? Because I am all out for getting to know you all better." she looked at them one after another before adding

"Six of you, three of us - doesn't exactly seems fair, even if we probably are better." she said, crossing her arms and raising her shoulders as if ti was a fact. All the while, her more quiet friend looked nervously at them and the members of Class A, back and forth. "Tell you what - we probably can take four or fi--"

"What's this?!" the voice that cut Erika short was powerful and deep and, yet again, coming form the Gym's entrance. Almost exactly like it had happened before, someone else had made their way into the Gym - only this time this person was a beast of a man, quite literally, as he was nearly sever feet tall with shoulders and muscles to match and...a Moose head.

The man walked closer to the gathered student before crossing his enormous arms together, looking down on them with a disapproving look as he exhaled air from his nostrils as if venting his frustration. Maple King - for that was his Hero Name - was the teacher of Class C, and Momo, Erika and their friend's home room teacher. Mostly, he addressed them, but he message also went out to those of Class A.
"Picking fights on the School's grounds again, are you? Training is one thing, but I know you three - and especially you, Erika. Sparring is one thing, but full on team fights without the supervision of a teacher is forbidden, as you all should know!"

"But...Sir ! You are here now. Don't you think we could use this practice? Beside, we already made friends. Look!" Said Momo as she jumped beside Gabriella, trying to pass her arm around the larger girl...but soon realizing it was impossible, she instead lifted Gabby's arm and dropped it on her own shoulder "See?!"

The Teacher didn't look impressed...but nonetheless stopped a second to think, then turned to Renard, Freya and everyone else. "Sorry, but is this true? I am Sorry that my students caused you troubles...but tell me; were you willing to practice? I am aware that Mr. Hayes gave you free practice until your next class, so there would be some time to spare..."

He bumped his chest with one of his fist, laughing "...and now that I am here, it falls perfectly under School's regulations. So what do you think?"

The Sharkman had asked Quinn a 'friendly' question. A simple how have you been. Well, the gesture was weird. They were villains bound by a common goal, not friends who entered summer camp. He had inquired about Jackie and asked her if they were to break out the chainsaw freak. Probably not, Quinn thought. She gave him a nonverbal shrug and lightly shook her head. Really, if Sharkman wanted to break her out, that was his prerogative. Quinn didn't feel like risking her life for Jackie, though. Muscle was, as always, a dime-a-dozen. A brainless brute was easy to get and use. Just point them in a direction which they can smash, then accept whatever happens. The others should have known this. Noxious, however, gave them their next job.

They were to bust out Sana. That was the next job, anyways. A simple prisoner transfer to be ruined by the gang with the assistance of fresh blood. Noxious herself wasn't coming, which meant that one of them would have to fill in the gaps. Someone would have to lead a group of... three plus the fresh blood. Between Dean, Ryan, and Quinn...

Well it wasn't going to be Ryan.

And with the (only temporary) losses of the chainsaw wielding freak and the burnin' bitch, their new allies had arrived. Whatever was Noxious recruitment technique, it worked. Really, had she not been a crime boss/supervillain/all-around baddie, then she would have made for an excellent recruiter. With them entering, Quinn silently judged them the same way that she silently judged her teammates.

First up to her proverbial chopping block was a woman that seemed to learn to walk at Jeffery Dunningham's school puppeteering. Her costume was... something. The best thing Quinn could say about it was that she had an idea of what she wanted: an aesthetic. While Corvus wore his suit, sharkman with his cringe inducing weebshit, and herself with reinforced punk aesthetic, the marionette had a black combat dress. Well, at least it had a little white on it. Showing up to bombings like you're dressed for goth prom night.

She had entered with a movie-like entrance. She employed the old trope of entering the scene with something perfectly timed to say. White vaudevillian as hell, it was also incredibly sad because Quinn could guess that she was just standing outside waiting for the perfect time to enter instead of actually being a normal person. Well, asking a bunch of villains to be normal was a bit of a high standard. Her name was Marionetta and... was a marionette.

Man, she could have at least entered with a gat or something. That would have made things interesting.

The second (and by extension, last) person to enter was a touch more interesting. He was high energy; wheezing and dying from running whatever distance, but still trying to make jokes. Well, Quinn liked his effort. At least he wasn't super serious to the point of being a bore, while not being silly enough to make Quinn want to disassociate with him. As far as his entrance was concerned: 4/10.

Which was pretty good, considering how the highest in the group was a 6.

Noxious, like a suburban soccer mom who drank enough wine and popped enough xannies to kill a horse, gave up on trying to speak to Wonderland. The plan was simple; helicopter like before, stop the convoy, get Animus, then get the hell out of dodge with a living flamethrower in tow. Pretty simple stuff; it was like taking candy from a division of police and prison guards devoted solely to preventing extremely dangerous criminals from escaping.

What was interesting was that Quinn was the leader. Bestowed upon her was the title of team leader. It was her job to make sure that their motley band of misfits and sociopaths would complete the mission. Well, now wasn't the place to waste time. They had to yeet into a helicopter and stop the transport. Well, quick introduction time and planning. She could go over the specifics in the helicopter ride.

"Well: Corvus, Sharkman, Anarchy Red," she said as she pointed to the names she had said, "together we form Animal Planet. Don't ever call us that or acknowledge the fact that we all have animal quirks. So a convoy is pretty hard to stop. They travel across mostly empty roads from prison to prison but this one's cutting through the city, they're heavily guarded and armed, and one wrong move murder an entire bus full of people. Usually, convoys move at an uncomfortable and unstoppable 30 above posted speed limits, but they can't do that since they're in the city. Ask me anything about what we're going to do. Otherwise, it's just easier to tell you all your roles when we're in the chopper."

She paused before looking towards Corvus.

"Say, how attached are you to your birds?"

Ryan "Sharkman" Jacobs

"I'm sick of living on ramen." Sharkman said when Nox called him greedy. He was about to protest at not getting paid until after - What if he got arrested? - because he was distracted by the two new friends. The first was a gothic lolita type. As he gazed upon her, like with anyone else, he could see the steady pulse of bioelectricity radiating from her body. Unlike most people, he could also see it coming from above her, almost as if she was attached to the ceiling.

"Nice threads." He said, then glanced at the white-haired young man who had just burst into the room. He looked tired, and worldlessly, Sharkman pulled himself up, leaving. He returned a few seconds later with a small styrofoam cup filled with water.

""Here." He handed it to Seth, before slouching back into his chair, looking at both of them. "Sharkman." He said, his thumb pointed at himself. "Noxious, Corvus, Anarchy Red." He said, pointing to each of his teammates in turn. He watched as Noxious brought up the map, and behind his mask, smiled slightly as he saw a familiar street name.

"Drop me off here and I'll meet up with you guys." He said when Quinn opened the floor, tapping the point on the map where the garage he used was. "I happen to have a motorcycle for just this sort of thing."

Freya Leander ~ Cait Sith

@Heartfillia @SimpleWriter

Freya nodded as Renard called out the dark-haired girl. If Eira wanted to accuse anyone of being excessively gloomy, she needn't look any further than Erika. "You heard him," the catlike girl said. "Hold off on the judgements until you know the whole story. If you'd seen anyone here who got caught up in that..." Her voice wavered as she thought of the person who wasn't here. "Or Sofia, the one pulled out through no fault of her own... You'd know how much they accomplished back there."

Yi also had a thing or two to say, putting it much better - and more calmly - than she could have. Freya returned to her lounging posture, hoping the verbal jabs really would stop, as unlikely as it seemed. Maybe the other two students could rein in Erika's behaviour. "Anyway," she said, adressing Erika's friends, "Nice to meet the two of you, I'm Freya." She shifted her position, wincing as her ribs and right arm twinged. "Although I don't think Renard and I are really up for sparring, I'm afraid." She glanced at her friend, recalling what he'd said earlier, as he continued to rub his leg. If a training session would help him, that would have to wait for another day.

Erika, just as Freya had expected, showed no signs of toning down the attitude. The feline girl sighed, bracing herself for an actual fight to break out. Then, a hulking figure made his appearance - the Class C teacher, Maple King. Normally, Freya wouldn't be too thrilled about a teacher turning up to lecture everyone, but the moose hero's arrival was better than the alternative. Not to mention better than Hayes scaring the bejeezus out of the group.

"Crisis averted," she muttered.

Kerianne Morley ~ Nightwatch

@SimpleWriter @Nyahahameha @Tenma Tendo @Aerandir

Judging by Erika's look of utter boredom, Kerianne doubted she was even listening to Yi. The horned girl's bragging right afterwards confirmed this suspicion. "A sparring session's fine," Kerianne said, her cautious glare on Erika, "as long as it remains just that. A friendly competition. Emphasis on friendly." She took note of where the shadows fell, tensing in case she had to take on damage control duty. She'd seen enough situations spiral out of control to recognise when it looked likely to happen.

Before anything could go wrong, a voice boomed through the gym as Class C's giant of a teacher strode in. Kerianne turned her head, seeing Maple King look down his long moose snout at the three students while scolding them. At his mention of their reputation for causing mayhem, she pressed her lips together. Typical. So now the class had a trio of troublemakers to deal with. She cast her gaze to the floor. Not that she really had a right to judge, she thought, and maybe they had their reasons. Still, the Class A students who'd gone on the ill-fated visit probably wanted a day of peace and quiet.

Approaching Maple King, she spoke up. "It's ok, and yes that was the plan, considering we were meant to practice anyway." Maybe this would be more like the formal lesson the class had been supposed to have. They'd have more freedom than they would in official physical training, but the teacher would make sure nobody abused said freedom.

Turning back to the others, she glanced from student to student. Yi, Breeze, Gabby, Momo, Erika and the blonde who had yet to reveal her name. Freya had declined, and it seemed Renard would do the same, but that still left a decently sized sparring group. "So," Kerianne said, "we'd better sort out some teams."

Gabriella Gonzales
Repulsa Libre

Gabby felt a bead of sweat grace her brow as she looked upon the surprised expression her performance had placed upon Momo's face. And it wasn't the good kind of sweat borne of exertion. But in a flash, Momo's smile returned, seemingly brighter even than before, and Gabby was immediately infected by it. The tension eased out of her face, allowing her nervous smile to become a genuine grin as Momo bragged to her friends about how good of an impression she'd made, referring to her as "cool". An honor Gabby recalled having dreamed of for many nights in her younger days, before she found comfort with her own image in her later years of high school. Still, even if she didn't yearn for it now as much as then, that didn't stop it from being a nice moment all the same.

Gabby allowed the rest of her body to relax afterward as the darker haired one began speaking again. Gabby half-paid attention, having already decided she had little to gain by giving that girl her attention. Something about a team-on-team training exercise. Gabby pursed her lips, kind of liking the idea, but wishing it came from someone she actually cared to give credit to for the idea. Luckily for her, someone much more appealing entered the room, signalled by his loud voice booming throughout the gymnasium. Ah, Maple King! She'd never admit it to Mr. Hayes, but Gabriella had actually been hoping to end up in Maple King's homeroom back during the application process, when she learned he was a teacher at UJ Academy. He was like the Canadian version of her grandpas, how could she not?!

That being the case, her grin remained stuck to her face even as he chided them for picking fights on school grounds. She knew that wasn't what had been happening anyway so it didn't worry her any. Her face beamed still as Momo referred to her as a friend and tried to wrap her arm around Gabriella's wide midsection, putting her arm on the smaller girl's opposite shoulder and pulling Momo against her abs. Maple King didn't look convinced, which hurt a little, but she put her trust in Momo's word.

As Kerianne answered Maple King's question on the team practice session, Gabby nodded along in agreement. Kerianne then suggested forming their teams. Gabriella's face was split by a grin once more. "Gabby calls Momo for her team!" she announced, raising her hand for the added attention. She then looked around at the other students, her smile turning sheepish as she realized that maybe they might have wanted to split the teams up based on class, or that Momo might rather be on a team with her own friends. "...Assuming that it is not too bold of me to do so..."
