Carth nods in agreement. Whatever it meant. But figured it was something they would find out sooner or later.

Maltoran helped Ash get Shinlo to the couch. Altoron walks up to them. "From what we found out, there is a temple there and it might help find out some more answers. Shinlo knows where it is and he is willing to help guide us there." He explains.

Shinlo smiled and nodded “yes I can guide us. Are we ready to get out of here?” Ash nodded and said “I’m ready to go”

Orion was starting to shift back as they discussed. Going back to his human form, Orion opened his eyes when all were asked if they were ready to leave. Orion stands up and nods. "I am ready.

Carth and the assassins nod their confirmation as well. "We are as well."

Scarlet smiled at Orion and said “let’s get moving before something else attacks” she went to finish packing and Ash went outside to check the wagon and just gather her thoughts. Shinlo slowly got up, holding his head.

Carth went to grab his pack, grabbing Ash's pack while he was at it. Orion pulled the top part of his shirt up and puts his arms in his sleeves and straightens his kimono. He grabs his pack and bag and heads to the wagon to put his things in. The assassins go to grab the horses and start to get them set up to the wagon.

Scarlet moved outside to her horse to check him over as Shinlo loaded his one bag to the wagon. Ash looked at him and said “no horse?” shinlo shook his head and said “they don’t like me very much…I can walk with them but never ride…”

Carth set his pack and Ash's into the wagon before he goes and grabbed his horse to add to the front with the assassin's horses. Altoron helps set Carth's horse up to the wagon. Once that happens Carth gets into the wagon.

Orion gets his pack and bag into the wagon with the help of Carth and then gets in. Once the assassins settle the horses, the brothers get into the driver seat as Altoron gets in the back.

Once they were ready and the snap of the reins, they left the fort and back into the light of day and open field and mountains.

Shinlo got into the wagon with Carth, not being able to ride. Scarlet and Ash rode their horses out and they were finally getting out of the city. Ash looked around and said “so much has changed since we came to these gates before…”

"Sure feels like it." Kanarus notes while looking around himself. Getting far enough from the gates Maltoran whistles loudly. There was an answer to his whistle with a howl in response. After, there was a brown wolf that came out of the treeline from nearby. "She is a friend. Her name is Krona. Give her time as she will see you as her pack." Maltoran assures.

Ash looked down and smiled widely. She jumped down from her horse and knelt down before the wolf, holding her hand out. “Hello pack sister. It’s a pleasure to meet you”

Scarlet smiled and said “look at her…”

Carth peeked over to see Ash going toward the wolf whom sniffed the young woman's hand then getting closer and sniffing her more before feeling satisfied as her tail wags and getting all in Ash's personal space, pushing herself against Ash and looking excited.

Maltoran smiled as he saw Krona accepting Ash as Ash was excited to meet his companion.

Ash laughed as the wolf rubbed against her and she said “what a sweet one you are. My goodness.” After a few moments she got up and led the wolf to their wagon and jumped back onto her horse. “Sorry, I love animals and he has such a wonderful aura”

Krona moved when Ash was getting up then followed her to the Wagon before hopping up in the back. She then starts to go up to each of them and sniffs each of them.

Maltoran shakes his head. "It's quite alright. I'm glad that she likes you."

When Krona gets to Shinlo, she starts sniffing him before sitting infront of him.

Shinlo blinked at the wolf and said “what’s wrong furry one? Are you looking for my partner?” Isis came out slowly and moved to see the wolf, timidly moving to show she wasn’t going to strike.

Ash smiled and said “animals and I have a bond…it’s hard to explain it…” scarlet smiled at the wolf as she passed and rubbed her ears a little after her scent was taken.

Krona moves closer Shinlo before placing herself halfway onto his lap to get a good look at the snake and sniffed Isis. After a good sniff, she gives the tiniest lick she can to Isis before giving Shinlo a lick on the cheek with the wag of her tail. She accepts Ash's scratches of the ears while still halfway on Shinlo's lap.

Kanarus laughs at the cute scene before him and nods. Seeing how that would be so. "So do we. Mainly a pack of wolves back home. Altoron has a bond with eagles."

Ash smiled and said “Shinlo, I thought you didn’t get along with mammals?” Shinlo was just as surprised and said “I guess…she sees past my snake blood and eyes…”

Carth smiles seeing Krona get along with Shinlo. Altoron was watching their rear as they traveled along.

Kona had gotten off of Shinlo and lays down at their feet.

They travel on into the afternoon close to evening. Kron had hopped out not long ago and started being the scout for the group while Orion, Carth and Altoron had sat quietly throughout the trip. Carth was watching the sky as he shivered. A slight breeze coming in as they were approaching a river west of the path.

Scarlet saw the shiver and moved her horse over, pulling a blanket out and tossed it to Carth. “Get you and Shinlo under that. If your cold he will be worse” which was true as the White Snake was curled up and shivering, showing his snake nature.

Ash rode by the front and was thinking about the last few days. She had a feeling there was more going on then this Mistress of Darkness. Someone wanted her dead. But who? And why now?

Carth is startled by the sudden blanket tossed in his direction. He looks at Scarlet and nods before moving over to Shinlo and wraps the blanket around himself and the White Snake. He raises his body temperature feeling normal but also so Shinlo could bask in it and feel better. "How does that feel?" He asks.

Kanarus looked over toward Ash when she came near the front seeing her in thought. He leans over a little. "A Copper for your thoughts?"

Shinlo smiled softly at him and said “that helps a lot thank you…I didn’t think to get warmer gear yet…didn’t think it would be cold already…”

Ash looked at him and said “I’m just trying to work out the enemies plan here. I am starting to think we are facing two foes…the mistress and another force that wants me dead…”
