Certainly unique. Sure to give my crew a "what the actual $#&@" moment!

I'm sure most people will when 'I am Eggman!' happens.

I'm hoping to kick things off end of this week/start of next. Basically wanna give @Assallya and others a chance to apply

Still something of a work in progress:

Name of Ship: Faith of the Heart
Home Universe/Name of Franchise: Star Trek
Ship Class: https://memory-alpha.fandom.com/wiki/Nebula_class
Technical Specifications: http://techspecs.acalltoduty.com/nebula.html
Role: Explorer/Cruiser/Cargo Hauler

Physical Size:
Length: 442.23 meters
Width: 318.11 meters
Height: 130.43 meters
Weight: 3,309,000 metric tonnes
Armaments:
Three Dorsal Phaser Arrays
One Ventral Phaser Array
One Phaser Array on each Nacelle Pylon
Two Fore facing Photon Torpedo Launchers
One Aft Facing Photon Torpedo Launcher
Crew Complement: 750

History of the Ship: The Faith of the Heart was an Exploration vessel, using a massive Sensor Pod to map out large swathes of unexplored space. All of that changed with the introduction of the Dominion War. The Cardassian Union and Bajoran Protectorate were on the outermost edge of Federation Space making supply lines long and vulnerable to attack by Dominion craft. As a result, many Nebula class explorers were tasked as heavily armoured transports for relief equipment including phaser rifles, rations and medical supplies to for the completely unexpected ground war that was evolving on frontier planets.

It was on one of these replenishment missions that the Faith of the Heart ran afoul of several Dominion strike craft. The Faith fought hard, continually moving to maintain distance and use its longer ranged phaser arrays to defeat the shorter range of the phased poloron beams belonging to the Dominion.

Despite fighting valiantly, Captain {INSERT NAME HERE} came to realize that they would be overwhelmed and changed heading to slingshot around a singularity. The plan was simple. Any deviation from the trajectory set by the Faith of the Heart would result in a great difference in angular vectoring. This would separate the combatants and give the Faith of the Heart a chance to escape. Further, by concentrating fire immediately aft they could seriously intimidate matching their own trajectory. It was a brilliant plan. However, during the final moments before diving into the event horizon the main bridge was struck by the nacelle of a Dominion strike craft attempting a ramming maneuver.

First Officer, {INSERT NAME HERE}, who had been overseeing the repelling of boarders, was barely able to gather enough crew and reach the battle bridge to prevent the Faith of the Heart falling into the black hole. Unfortunately, due to some unexpected side effect or other force, the slingshot effect took them not where they intended, nor through time, but who knew where.

Notable Crew:

Captain: Chandani Madan, Formerly first officer of the Faith of the Heart, has only been "Captain" for several minutes. Her ship is in damaged and in chaos, many of her colleagues have just been brutally killed. It is not a good day for her.

Rex Miller: Chief Engineer and unapologetic Texan. Skilled in ranching in addition to being a grease monkey.

Medical Officer: Doctor Benjamin Campbell was an xeno-biologist and virologist that truly enjoyed the exploration, discovery and categorization of new life forms. He is somewhat bitter about the recent war. Not only is it a waste of life, it also gets in the way of his one true interest, studying new lifeforms.

Security Chief: Shaavi: The only other Bridge Officer to survive, Shaavi was leading the effort to defeat the Jem'Hadar that had managed to beam aboard the vessel. They had just put the unconscious surviving Jem'Hadar in the brig when the bridge was hit.

Science Officer:

Helmsman: Andorian

Operations: Gideon

Optional, but helpful:
Unique Technology: Transporters, Massive Modular Pod System, Holographic Recreational Facilities, Replicators,
Faction/Operator/Owner: Federation
Note: There are no depictions of the Nebula Class with the Cargo Pod attached.

@mattmanganon

Get in there. We're going to assume that everyone else sees your anthropomorphic animals a bit less cartoony. Just cause I never liked the 'cartoons in the real world trope'.

@thedman

I don't know if you're W.I.P or not. If you aren't, maybe a little more on the history section, even another paragraph detailing what it's been up too so far. Also, I don't quite understand Starcraft, but from what I've read would Zerg perhaps be antagonistic? If that's the route you want to go that's fine. I'm just checking.

You wanna use that you go ahead and use that, it's your choice. I just think with us going somewhere photo-real I feel like it takes away from the seriousness if you have actual cartoon looking people running around. Now they obviously don't need to look like anything that can actually exist, much like that. Just so long as they actually look real and not like an artist drew them.

Oh hey, this is a thing. I'll consider what to be, perhaps an Advent ship from Sins of a Solar Empire, or maybe something from SBY 2202. Will come up with something by the time I'm off work.

@Sep Alright, I'll add some more for that. Is there anything else I should add while I'm at it?

As for the Zerg, surprisingly no. Without getting into too much detail, basically the Zerg have changed a lot by the end of StarCraft 2. In StarCraft 1, the Overmind, the being that controlled the Zerg, was created with the objective of assimilating the Protoss, causing the Zerg to be highly aggressive. The broodmothers that control the Zerg now don't have this objective, and are much more independent, being individuals with their own personalities. Since the events of StarCraft 2, the Zerg have been at peace with the other races. While they might not be thrilled at the idea of working with humans or another race, they're not going to be automatically hostile.

I can't think of anything in particular. My sheets a bad example as I went canonical, but the likes of the other sheets in the tab show me the kinda detail I'm looking for. Just so I know where your ship is going to fit in.

I added Thunderbolt The Chinchilla to the roster, she's small and adorable and is thirsty for some good old-fashioned bestiality

Best way to do it. Reread it as if it's the first time, if there's any questions that pop into your head fill in the blanks. Once you've done that I'll give it a go and I'm sure I'll love it.

@Sep Alright. I think I've added enough detail, and answered any questions people might have.

edit: actually, I might go and add a bit about the ground forces.
