► S T R E N G T H SStrength of Character — Having to raise himself for as long as he can remember has instilled Brenton with a fierce independence and self-developed ideals. He is a man who walks to the beat of his own drum, and faces each and every task with a rabid ferocity once he takes it upon himself. Considering his home life, just managing to keep himself from being held back has been quite the accomplishment.
Grease Monkey — As one might expect from his part time job down at the local garage, Brenton has a handyman nature about him. It's practically a necessity considering the state of disrepair most of the appliances in his house seem to be in. Most notably, Brenton repaired an abandoned Pontiac Firebird back to working condition and turned it into his personal vehicle.
Streetwise — Brenton has more than a passing familiarity with the less than reputable side of Angel Grove's population. He's acutely aware of the town's drug dealers and his mother's Johns, and the various con men of the area. Numerous altercations physical or otherwise have taught Brenton how to spot and avoid them for the most part.
► W E A K N E S S E SEmotional — Red is the color of passion and emotion, and Brent embodies both the positives and negatives of that connotation. It is not a stretch to say that Brent leaps into action and only thinks about the consequences after the fact, a habit which has caused him no small amount of black eyes and broken bones over the years.
Social Isolation — Though born and raised in Angel Grove, Brent has never been particularly close with anyone his own age. Most say he is too (rightfully) embarrassed by his deadbeat mother to reach out to anyone. The man himself rather defensively states that he simply can't stand how "fake" everyone around him is. The truth more than likely lies somewhere in the middle. Nevertheless, Brent has little experience dealing with his peers, and only time will tell if he can grow into the leader Zordon thinks he is destined to be.
Impressionable — For all his bravado and jaded view of most of his fellow classmates, deep down, Brent wants to be a good person and do right by others, even if it means he can occasionally be taken advantage of. Perhaps the Power Coin saw this desire to do good within him and sought him out for that purpose.
► F E A R SBrenton's biggest fear is perhaps a loss of independence, or that he is preordained to become an addict like his mother, despite his extreme aversion to all things drug or alcohol related. Other than that there is of course the fear of someone actually finding out about his home life, something he has taken great pains to avoid.
► W H Y M EFar from a stranger to Angel Grove's detention hall, Brenton has found himself there for any number of reasons in previous school years, from getting into a number of fights over such slights as someone insulting his mother or smashing one of his rear view mirrors. However, on this rare occasion, Brenton is not in detention for an act of physical violence, but the exceedingly mundane act of failing to turn in an essay on time.
