What’s your name?
"Lindy Audrum: Proud daughter of Detective Linda Audrum."
Also known as the hopping and stomping Spider-Cricket!

How old are you?
"Seventeen. Ruin your hopes?"

What do you look like?

"I'm only five feet tall but just because I'm short doesn't mean I'm weak: I workout on a regular basis and slim body is toned with muscle! My hair is bright red just like my mom's, and it goes well with our also shared blue eyes! In warm weather I prefer to wear tanktops and shorts of varying colors, and in the winter I prefer baggy clothes to keep warm while I drink hot cocoa. My preference for footwear is usually sneakers, or just going barefoot. Sometimes I wear boots during the winter."

"You see this necklace with the cross on it? It was a gift from my dad on my eighth birthday! I've worn it ever since! I've also got the occasional bandage on me from minor injuries in the ring, but don't sweat those; They add character!"

"Shhh. So, my suit, right? I designed it around the uniforms of the New York City police! The suit sticks close to my body and doesn't cause much burden, and it's mainly black in color. It's got a ring of yellow around the neck, and it goes down from both sides of my neck to my feet with golden lines. The gold is also in the eye-area; I thought adding more colors would be too much. It's not just the suit, though: I also 'borrowed' my mom's old officer cap to wear, and I found a cool black coat that looked enough like a detective's trench coat to wear over the suit, too."

"I made this little badge, too. I put it on the cap as my own little insignia: I made a few of them to like... Leave at the scene of a crime when I stop a criminal, or something. Maybe that's too mysterious for me, but it's also kind of cool, right?"

What did you do before the Recluse incident?
"I spent my life idolizing my mother and working towards being an amazing detective like her. I did my best to ace my studies and spent my free time entering into classes to learn to fight so I could defend myself. My parents always worried that those krav maga classes were too brutal for a girl my age but I showed up and worked through the hell my instructor put me through: I'm no expert, but I bet no girl in my school that's in my age group is even half as kick-ass as me. "

"Actually I don't think the guys are, either... My dad hasn't stopped being a worrywart about me getting violent outside of my classes ever since I slammed some stupid pervert into the pavement. Can't he just accept that was self-defense? Sometimes my parents fight about it, and it tends to leave those nights quiet and awkward. They leave me really pissed off."

What happened after the incident?
"I am... REALLY strong. I also seem to be able to do high jumps to reach airborne targets or to simply get places above me fast. I can also do longjumps that help me traverse the city faster than I could by any normal means. ...I've been wondering if I can do one of those crater smashes from the air like some tv hero. That'd be badass."

Do you believe in aliens?
"While I'm totally into Sci-Fi I have enough grasp on reality to not believe in aliens. But considering what happened to me, maybe I should open up my worldview."

What are your goals for the future?
"I planned to become a N.Y.C police officer to follow in my mother's footsteps. But with these recently obtained powers I'm starting to think I can do more than just patrol the streets in a uniform... Would it disappoint my mom if after how much I said I'd follow her, that I decided to not do it? Can I even tell her about what happened to me? My future isn't really certain."

You lived in New York for a while now, right? What do you think of the city?
"I wish it wasn't as hectic. My mother is always on a case because there's always something happening here; I wish she had more time at home like when I was younger. I've made good friends here, and I don't think I'll ever leave this place for good."

How much technology do you use on a daily basis?
"I text with friends a lot, and like to binge TV shows sometimes. I read ebooks and watch videos on occasion.

What do you like?
"I... Love fighting. Don't tell my dad this, but I feel most alive in the middle of a brawl. I almost considered going the route of an MMA fighter or something! I like to jog and do workout sessions at the gym, and I'm fond of a good story, be it from a TV show, movie, or book. My favorite things to eat are omelettes for a meal and cashews for a snack. I'm also a dog person. I like thoughtful people, maybe those who are a little playful. I also respect people who can duke it out with me without it being one-sided."

What do you dislike?
"Crime in general makes me pretty angry: Because of criminals my mom gets worked to the bone and comes home always tired and stressed, despite trying to put on a strong smile for me. Chocolate is overrated, and I despise the texture and scent of onions. Remember what I said about playful people? There's a difference between that and being perverted or outright stupid. I don't like when a plan falls apart, especially if it's because of someone in my group. I wouldn't usually admit it, but... I'm also a bit prideful. I don't like losing a fight."

Do you think true evil exists?
"Absolutely. There are terrible people in this world: We hear of their actions everyday. A lot of them express no remorse."

"I'd have to say yellow."

David Audrum / Father
I love my dad. He's always there when I need a talk or motivation, but his constant worrying about me getting hurt kind of annoys me. I know he means well, though.

My mom is my hero: I want to help people like she does. If she wasn't my role model, I might not have taken to these powers as well as I did. I wish we could spend more time together with dad and be a family more often.

"Even with my powers I think this guy can kick my ass. He taught me how to fight to win, and how to protect myself in a multitude of ways. Even if he's a jackass, I think we're good friends.

What did you do before the Recluse incident?

Life was much simpler when I was younger. It wasn’t a fairytale, just average at best but that had been enough for me. It was when my mother got sick that everything started to change for the worse. Hospital visit after hospital visit. My mom not able to work anymore and my father barely making it by. He started disappearing more, coming home either drunk as hell or in a fowl mood late into the evening but pretending everything was fine while in my mother’s presence. It was like I was forgotten, all on my own and trying to navigate the world. I found more often than not that I was locked out of my own home so I found myself wandering a park or going to the nearby ice skating rink to watch, trying to find something to keep me busy till I could go home. This went on for years until suddenly, everything changed....my father seemed happier, things started to seem normal again, I wasn’t alone anymore and I hoped that meant that mom was getting better. I was able to do more after school activities, not understanding at the time we shouldn’t be able to afford to do them. My mom’s hospital bills were being paid on time and while my father still stayed out a bit late, he seemed to be doing better. Everything would be as it was and the nightmare from before would be over. It didn’t end up being that way though.

One night, I found myself dragged from bed in the middle of the night by a stranger. I tried to fight, squirm to get away, cry out, call for help but it was all for nothing. Instead, I was slapped harshly with my attacker telling me to shut up as I was continuously pulled like a rag doll to the living room. The first view being my father strapped to a chair, blood everywhere, beaten and scared when his eyes met mine. I found no words now, fear and panic twisting in my gut as I was threatened with a cold knife pressed to my throat. I could barely hear, the blood rushing to fast in my ear as the attackers spoke to my father. He was to start paying back the money he had borrowed, no more delays or trying to sneak on by. They left, leaving me to deal with the mess my father was. He forced me not to call the cops, saying all of our lives depended on keeping this all a secret. I found myself roped into and forced to steal, my father saying it was our only way. He explained they would be like Robin Hood, stealing for a good reason. It never felt right. I felt horrible. If I tried to stop though, I was met with violence and that wasn’t any better. It wasn’t even a month later that my mom passed away after her long struggle and I felt it was a punishment for what we were doing. It didn’t matter though, we weren’t allowed to stop.

It wasn’t until my high school years that we finally had enough stolen items sold off to finish the debt. I hoped we could wash our hands of it and move forward. My father didn’t seem to think so. He fell back into old ways, drinking and stealing. He was sloppy and started to draw attention. The second he tried to rope me into that lifestyle again, I suddenly found myself couch hopping. I would stay with friends or crash with band mates so that I didn’t have to see him. Didn’t have to be a part of his screw ups while I tried to make a life for myself. I needed to get a scholarship if I wanted to do anything college wise and even if I didn’t make it then a criminal record would not be a good start. They had been really lucky so far. I was skilled at thievery and planning but it wasn’t the life I wanted for myself. It was no surprise to me when I found out my father had been arrested. Cops bothering me to see if I had any information and to see if I had been a part of it in any way. I was able to weasel out of it but it had been an annoying process. They kept a close eye on me after that.

After high school, I pretty much signed up for anything and everything job wise. I needed a place of my own or at least enough to help a room mate since couches would not be an option any longer. I would have started on a job sooner but with my...other activities, it had been impossible. I turned out getting work as an office assistant which isn’t really my style and I hate it but it pays very well. Honestly, if I could be a hero all the time then I would. I feel like I have no freedom and there is something freeing about watching over others and making sure they are safe.

Do you believe in aliens?

The world is full of mystery and infinite possibilities so I believe there is a chance that aliens exists. I am not holding my breath on ever meeting one but I do believe it is possible so I won’t dismiss it.

What are your goals for the future?

I don’t know if I have any real goals. I mean, I eventually want to go to college so I can get somewhere but at the same time...I don’t really want to get rid of my unrealistic dreams. Sure, it is silly but I would love for my band to make it to the big times or to be an Olympic ice skater since I have the talent but those seem too far from my reach. It would be best to go to college and work somewhere mundane. I mean, you can only be a hero now and then. Real life doesn’t stop so I’m not gonna put all my hopes into that but it is nice to help people.

You lived in New York for a while now, right? What do you think of the city?

It’s never boring, that is for sure. It is a little crowded and wild but I think that is a part of its charm. It gives you unexpected gifts and also complete frustration. You can find everything you need here.

How much technology do you use on a daily basis?

Oh boy....do I have to answer this? I feel embarrassed to say I am glued to my phone a lot. I am forever texting or looking up some sort of information. I love music and it is often that my headphones are in to enjoy. I do videos, writing and more in my free time which require technology. I mean, I am not sure I could live without movies or video games either. I also have to use it for work so that kind of makes it impossible to cut down the amount of use.

I have more or less an idea for the suit but I'm still thinking on it. Figured at best I'd have it in the CS and at worse she can slap it on In-Character or it can be described then added to the CS when I figure it out.

Perhaps I will take her mutation points and add them to Super Strength then. Not gonna argue with more oomph. Is that acceptable?

My idea is leaning more towards a suit based on a New York police officer uniform. Lindy always thought she'd be in one, so some mockup resemblances are perhaps to provide comfort that she's making a decision she thinks would make her mom proud, even if she's constantly worried about disappointing her.

Colors I'm thinking are black/yellow with perhaps some homemade badge to match her own image as an accessory.
