Cesidia raises her eyebrows. “I wonder...” She opens her hand, and it starts to glow.
Jonathan cuddles with him in his sleep.
Arthur pauses and turns back to her. He hugs her. “Shh... I’m not upset with you. I’m just worried that maybe we’re not ready for marriage yet. We still have so much to learn about each other.”
The glow of her hand dims, then flares, enveloping her body as the sweat evaporates and her body temperature stabilizes, floating her a little. She settles back down. “Huh.”
When dawn breaks, Jonathan wakes with a yawn. He sits up, careful to not wake his fiancé.
Arthur frowns. “I think you misunderstood me. Maybe we don’t tell anyone just yet. Until we’re ready. Or we could tell people, and just wait for when we’re ready for marriage to actually marry.”
