“Alright, but when I said that I was being sarcastic. It wouldn’t be wise to hold me to it.” Cesidia grins. “And you better get used to it, I can be quite sarcastic.”
He shakes his head. "I don't care how much you hate or disrespect me. But there are others in the Underworld who would happily tear you apart if you look at them wrong."
“So? I’m not afraid of you or your kind. I’m not afraid of death. Right now the only thing I’m afraid of is that the ugly green glob that calls himself the goblin king is going to get away with threatening this kingdom.” She sighs before adding in a quieter tone, “And I don’t hate you. I never hated you, although you haven’t done anything to win my respect yet.”
"You're a brave one. But there are beings in my world that you would fear, not for you, but because of what they'd do to everything you love and care for." He shrugs. "I come to expect others to hate me. For, 'cheating them', and 'lying to them'. I never lie. They're the ones who agreed to the Pact."
Cesidia grins wickedly. "To hurt the ones I love, they'll have to go through me first." She shrugs. "Eh. You call it bravery, I call it surviving. Just like you with your Deals; it's survival of the fittest, or the ones willing to do what it takes to live. I don't get how people hate demons, if they cared to learn about them. Household pets survive in more gruesome ways than you."
"It's a land of molten gold, obsidian, and magma. And there are other things that live there. But it's hard for anything but the weaker creatures and monsters to escape."
