Marin’s eyes widen in surprise. “Oh! Uh..” she reaches into her messenger bag and pulls out a manilla envelope. “That will explain everything, but long story short, we’re related.” She smiles nervously.
Emily blinked. She raised an eyebrow. She frowned as well. She narrowed her eyes too. She shook her head a bit, since she was suspicious and all. "....I doubt it, since all my female relatives are either dead, much older than yourself, or live across the country." She took a breath. "...but if you need to talk with my parents." She wrote her parents address on the envelope and handed it back to her.
Marin takes the envelope and frowns at the address, then she looks at the envelope and shakes her head. “No, this is for you. I’m sorry to bother you.” She holds the envelope out.
Emily blinked. She shook her head. "I can not take this. I do not even know you." She frowned. She tried to hand it back to her. She did not want to take the envelope from her.
Emily raised an eyebrow. She frowned and narrowed her eyes. She looked at her and her tone suggested how she felt. She was quite suspicious. "...I see." She would still have that look on her face.
Emily nodded. "I....I suppose you can meet up with my parents for a...discussion." Emily sighed a bit. She had her hands at her sides and such. She waited.
Emily nodded. She handed her the envelope with the address on it. She had no idea who the girl truly was, her identity that is. "Good luck." She turned towards her friend, still worried about his wrist and such.
Emily blinked. She thought she sensed something. She shrugged it off though and took the lemonade. She would slowly take a sip after a moment or so. She looked up when she felt like she was being watched.
