| ▄P e r s o n a l i t y | Irritable | Clumsy | Inconsiderate | - - | Clingy | Passionate | Focused | Oliver is extremely prone to random temper tantrums or angry outbursts; he is the definition of "being angry at the world." He is horrible at expressing himself which leads to him getting easily frustrated and attempting to relieve that frustration by acting out in anger. Fortunately, he's not aggressive or physical, instead using words as his weapon (the louder his voice the more he believes he's won.) However, once Oliver accepted someone, he would often form a deep attachment. This often translated as clingy to most people; Oliver does his best to put those he regards as close to him first. He is rather clumsy, things often falling out of his hands or tripping on absolutely nothing. ▄B r i e f H i s t o r y Oliver's family consists of all Inscribed; some of the most successful originated from his very own family tree. His parents, while not memorable, have profitable Epithets that have been able to support the family. Since it was basically a given that anyone born in their family would eventually stumble upon their very own inscribed word, no one thought otherwise for young Oliver. Oliver himself had hope that eventually he'd also have his very own power leading to grandeur dreams of becoming the best of the best. As time went on, Oliver's bitterness and desperation arose. With no epithet in sight, rumors began, especially between his family members. Eventually, Oliver was no longer the golden boy they were all awaiting to see flourish, he was the defect; a failure. Of course, this affected Oliver in all aspects of his life. His dreams, now shattered--what with being a mundie and all--forced him to find new direction in life. This new direction turned into constant violence at school, getting involved in fights and actively seeking trouble. He found solace in his hatred for the inscribed and as soon as he was able to, Oliver left to live on his own. Jobs were scarce and opportunities were competitive for mundies so Oliver resorted to the less legal options for supporting himself. Covered in scars head to toe, Atticus is intimidating to the eyes of many. He's a young man of average height, with a slim, muscular build and burnt red hair that hangs over his shoulders. Covering his sharp, died down blue eyes, Atticus tends to push his spiky and choppy bangs behind his ears(sometimes he lets it dangle over his other eye when it's too bothersome to just cut his long unruly hair). It was a casual jumble sometimes but mostly gelled down and neat, showing sharp spikes at the ends of his hair. His eyebrows thin and narrow, a half-shaved look to them. He walked with insecurity and softness where his nomad-blue eyes twinkled with sadness. He had a solemn look to him but was however, seen as intimidating to others. His sister had always remarked that his best feature were his entrancing voice. They carried with carefulness but sometimes had a tone of brittleness to them. Atticus can usually be seen with clothing that are easy to wear, consisting of over-sized tees and sweats.

With a apathetic and irritable look to him, Atticus is exactly opposite of his portrayal. He demonstrates compassion and genuine kindness that others tend to dismiss it as fakeness. He always thinks of others' more than himself and cares more about their feelings and well-being. His overwhelming kindness makes him out to be someone nurturing, giving off a warm aura once you get past his intimidation features. Atticus hates being confrontational and hates it even more when others confront him whereas he tends to portray a face of absolute distaste when being confronted by others, causing them to awkwardly dismiss the topic at hand(more of a big reason why he comes off as "scary" to people. Atticus cant control his expressions). Due to his haughty appearance, Atticus sucks at making friends, apparently coming off as someone who looks down on everyone. Though he tends to disprove this by stupidly admitting that he's not that tall to be looking down on others, showing how horribly oblivious he is to everything and anything.
⌈BACKGROUND⌋
Growing up in a family full of women, Atticus Emrys Shaw was the first born son of the generation. His mother, a woman of boisterous attitude, and his father, a man of many words, were both odd couples in the eyes of their families. His father being a mundle and his mother being an inscribed, the two were expected to marry of the same sphere. However completely dismantling this thought-out rule, the two eloped. Although that managed to only be for awhile before his father left them, angry at how well epithets were treated rather than mundles. Thus, Atticus grew up with a single mother and 5 other sisters. Never exactly being born during the time of his father's betrayal, he listened to the stories his sisters spilled, all of them showing clear disdain over their traitor of a father. However, with a heart of gold, Atticus accepted his runaway father(which angered his sisters).
During his teenage years, Atticus was always withdrawn by his classmates. Already at a young age the boy was dressed in scars(his outdoor adventures and trying to befriend random animals) and clothed a messy blonde to his hair(one of his sisters wanted to experiment her hair-dressing skills and used her brother for it), following after his constant "I'm better than you" face. His classmates didn't exactly fair well with Atticus. He was often called out during lunch or after school because he apparently managed to look at someone wrong, indicating that he wanted a fight with them. Atticus never did, in fact, the young boy was mostly blanking out during the days, day dreaming about anything to pass his time at school.
His usage of cigarettes started off small. Atticus caught his eldest sister smoking, obviously distraught by her chill attitude over being caught(she had already been of age to buy/smoke cigarettes so It wasn't a surprise to most since his mother already knew), he threw the cig down and stomped on it before yelling at her. It was the first time--as she says--that Atticus ever expressed such anger, however being someone that wore an "I don't care" demeanor to her, she took out another and started smoking. Everytime he would see her, Atticus would constantly nag her to stop the horribly addiction but as time went by, he eventually mellowed out. Celebrating his acceptance to college, Atticus was in a happy mood, having a small party with his family and just living his life, his sister managed to convince him to smoke just one cigarette. Being extremely drunk, Atticus accepted the invitation and eventually, became a classic smoker himself.
(he hates bringing up this story, regret and anger usually swell up on his face. Its not a pretty look.)

Contrary to his looks, Atticus has the words cats sprawled out the right side of his neck, usually coming to a surprise to many when a "scary" looking man has the measly word cat on his neck.
⌈ABILITIES⌋
☁ Can turn into a cat and has all the skills a cat has. He was really surprised when he didn't have the so called 9 lives feature to the power..
☂ For instance, the usual jumping high, scratching others and being able to squeeze through small spaces. This makes things easier for him whenever he's lost something(usually it's his sisters that force him to change in order to find their lost items). But normally, Atticus doesn't use the skill of scratching others because he doesn't like inflicting pain on people.
☁ Communicating with other cats is like talking to humans whenever he's in the form. To outsiders it sounds like a simple "meow," but he could be having a very eloquent conversation with a fellow feline.
✧ Without turning into a cat, Atticus tends to attract a lot of cats to him. He can't communicate with them during said form but they are still able to understand him, so he can easily tell them to do something and they'll do it.
✧ He doesn't have any of the skills he has during cat form. He can't jump high or squeeze through small spaces but he does however have slight cat-reflexes. It's shown in small bits though, as in able to be quick on his toes but not to an extent.
✧ Water is his biggest weakness. When he's in cat form and someone were to splash water on to him, Atticus will immediately turn back into his normal form. There's something about having complete disgust over water being used on him when as a cat. Normally he wouldn't mind it as a human, but during cat form, he absolutely hates it.

☁ Quick on feet, can typically defend himself in a fight(just doesn't like doing it).
☁ Amazing at origami.
☁ He loves bugs and enjoys anything that has to do with them. Any type of bug that man will cherish it as his own brethren. Though when he's a cat... he gets an odd desire to eat some.
☁ Patience. Dealing with a group of sisters that loved to tease and prank him, Atticus got used to their tactics and developed a high tolerance for annoyance. Basically being able to handle any type of person.

Abilities:
- Is able to direct the flow of energy, and alter it to some extent. If someone were to try and hit her, she would be able to take the kinetic energy and change it into something else.
- On a smaller scale, she can also alter the flow of time. She can only manage this in a small bubble, however. The larger the bubble, the more quickly her stamina runs out. Additionally, while she can alter it by slowing time, speeding it up, or rolling it back, her span tends to be a couple of minutes. Weeks, months or years is out of the question. This also is put to use in her healing, rolling back wounds that would otherwise be fatal.
- Can also manipulate the flow of liquids, such as blood flow.
Weapons:
A scalpel, a syringe, and other medical equipment.
Description: Cordelia stands at a modest 5’6”, with fair, gentle features that have no real gender to them. Her hair is a soft blond, and long enough that she often pins it back in a bun or a braid, and her eyes are a bright gold. Most curiously, if you were to look deep into those eyes, you would find that she has not two pupils, but three: an extra in one eye. She always has a dreamy, distant smile on her face, as if she’s lost in her own happy place, and a pair of glasses perched on her nose.
When she’s at work, her outfit consists of a lab coat, and a set of typically-pastel colored scrubs beneath. Outside of work...she still wears pastel. Pastel dresses, pastel blouses, pastel overalls, pastel, pastel, pastel. She’s pretty easy to identify, honestly.
Personality: The kindest thing you could really say about Cordelia’s nature is that she’s...odd. Eccentric. Someone less kind would call her a “weirdo”, plain and simple. She’s pleasant enough, speaking softly and always being polite, but there’s something fundamentally off about her, as if she’s always dazed. She tends to ramble about strange, meaningless things, going off on tangents in the middle of the conversation, and speaking in a chopped manner. Regardless of the situation, she never seems to lose that odd sleepiness, or drop that smile of hers.
As a result, she can come across as somewhat unnerving. Especially due to her passion for science. Biology especially. And her work.
Skills:
- Cordelia has a knack for the medical field. Not only can she perform first-aid, but she can also perform surgery even without tapping into her Epithet.
- She’s a great poet, and loves writing her own poems.
- Makes great tea and cakes.
Weaknesses:
- Cordelia isn’t exactly “combat-oriented”. She’s good at healing and surgery, yes, but that is where the bulk of her skills fall. She’s no fighter.
- Though she can protect herself with her energy flow ability, if she attempts to store too much energy in her body at once, she’ll suffer a heart attack.
- Is...pretty bad at socializing.
Brief History:
Nobody really knows who Cordelia is, or where she came from. She just set up shop one day, styled her business as a clinic, and that was that (though given her age, most people are pretty sure that she isn’t actually a doctor). All people really know is that you can go to her for a cold, a stab wound, or anything, and pay in money or favors. She doesn’t always immediately cash in the latter. Sometimes it’ll be immediate. Sometimes it’ll take months. Sometimes, it’ll be long enough that people will think that Cordelia forgot they owed her at all.
But she never forgets. She keeps very strict records. And the more treatment you need, the bigger favor you owe…
...Though sometimes, the favor is as small as going out for tea with her.

He is the master of anything worthless, useless or discarded. Basically anything that qualifies as rubbish or junk.
Abilities:
Trash-o-kinesis: He can move and manipulate trash with his mind. Larger trash requires more effort of course and exerting more force using said trash exerts him further still. The further away trash is from him the weaker his control over it is.
Trash Man: He is a trash man as a career, as a metaphorical state of being and in some cases a literal state of being. If he is ever wounded he can mend himself either by joining trash to the wound, physically bonding with the material as it becomes one with him, or by eating it. When eaten the trash will be broken down and transmitted through his body to the area of the internal injury where it will then bond together the injured portion, taking over the cell's roles as it merges with him. Even materials which are considered inedible can be eaten since his epithet breaks it down for him as he chews. Whether he likes it or not he will become trash sooner or later.
Trash Sense: He can detect trash within an approximate radius of three kilometers around him. This lets him know not only where trash is but what it is down to fine details. This does not allow him to know of any details not directly tied to the trash itself such as the appearance of it's location, only where it is and what it is.
Weapons:
If it comes down to combat and Edgar actually feels like fighting for a change then any surrounding trash can become his improvised weapon. Otherwise he'll just be out of luck since he doesn't carry weapons on him since he tends to travel light.

Standing around six feet even this guy is physically only just slightly above average for his height and age group. He's got modestly broad shoulders and a slight bit of tone to his muscles due to the manual labour aspect of his job. His skin is generally fairly pale since outside of work he only occasionally goes out. While his face is more narrow than broad he's got a decently strong jawline. The only thing darker than his eyes is his jet black hair which comes down straight like uncooked spaghetti to his shoulders. He is neither handsome nor hideous, just sort of plain overall. It is however colored by his lack of sleep and generally miserable disposition. The dark rings under his eyelids, the way he hunches forward all the time like he's carrying some unseen weight upon himself, the way his feet just sort of drag about rather than walk with any sort of animation, it all shapes the mold of some downtrodden schlub who looks as though he's already collapsed but his body just forgot to fall. On the job he wears the garbage man's uniform: A dull grey jumpsuit with the city logo emblazoned upon a patch on the upper chest. Off duty he just tends to wear whatever he has laying around, black logoless t-shirts and grey cargo pants. While at work he'll have brown heavy steel-toed boots. Any other time he'll just wear his ratty worn-out grey sneakers he's held onto for way too long.
Personality:
Edgar's a trash man in every sense of the word.
He's taciturn, morose, unambitious, defeatist and a real buzz-kill to boot. Out of everyone who dislikes him Edgar is at the top of the list, loathing himself more than anyone else could muster. Being the mule that carries the burdens of his family and more specifically his specter of a sister he only really cherishes the brief moments where he's truly alone, or at least when he thinks he is. He sees the world as a cold dark ball covered in apes duking it out to stand on the biggest hoard. To aspire to anything is really just a waste in the unflinching march of time, all things both treasured and not eventually becoming trash in the fullness of time, at least as far as he's concerned. Even as pathetic as he may be he'll still fight back if pushed, an ingrained part of his psyche that keeps him from giving up even when he really wants to. If there is only one thing Edgar stands by in life however it's the lesson his parents bored into his psyche: Family comes before all. Despite anything else, no matter the reason, he will always remain faithful to his family... Even his sister.

He's actually fairly well read with a decent vocabulary. Not something that shows readily all other things considered.
Weaknesses:
He's a miserable sod with fairly few skills and little to no ambition who's haunted by a mercurial specter that often tilts the scales against him because it's usually funnier when he fails.
Brief History:
There was a brief before his kindergarten years when Edgar was a happy and hopeful little thing. That quickly got taken care of when he started kindergarten and quickly found nobody liked him. Children are more often cruel than not after all.
What really kicked the misery train into overdrive was when his sister first learned her epithet. It wasn't long after him but unlike him who could only really use it to cause messes she changed significantly after shedding her physical form and taking residence inside his mind. While at first she was largely just concerned with experiencing the world as a ghost, seeing and doing things she couldn't before as a physical being, after a while life as a carefree spirit was starting to bore her. Something that never bored her however was tormenting him. No matter how many times she caused trouble for him seeing him fail and suffer for it never failed to amuse her. He was perfect, the kind of person who would always put up some token resistance while still cooperating like the broken mule he was to her. No matter how hard she pushed him however he never broke, never all the way. Perhaps it was the fact that much like his epithet he was never too slighted by being treated like the trash he is. He still never simply gave in despite it. That last grain of his nature that he carried through his entire childhood refused to die in the broken heaps of his dead hopes and dreams.
Come adulthood he was naturally pushed into taking up a job as a trash man. He didn't like the job but he was used to being given choices he just had to put up with. He lacked any other ambitions and couldn't find any real excuse not to despite lacking any joy or fulfillment from the work. In the end he just swallowed the fact that this was just going to be his life from now on. Just him and countless heaps of trash...

Epithet: Phantasm.
On top of being a proper phantom she presides over all matters spectral. Aside from all that she also holds power over illusions, able to wield the senses and one's own imagination against them.
Abilities:
Fantastic Phantasm: Her most notable trait is her spectral state which she maintains on a nigh constant basis. She is completely intangible in this state, having more in common with a self-willed imaginary friend than with anything else in the real world. In this form she can float in any direction at a fairly quick rate. Her speed has an upper cap since despite not being wholly real she still feels the strains of exertion when acting through her epithet. Like a ghost she can possess objects or even people. She can float around as a non-living item however she cannot alter it's shape without acting upon it through a physical medium. Possessing other people is a dangerous game since whilst in their mind a person can struggle and resist her control or even eject her with enough effort. It comes down to a battle of wills which still exhausts her energy despite not wholly real since it's an exertion of her epithet.

The claws are smooth all the way down to the tip like a baby dolphin's skin, each claw ending at a tip as fine as a broken glass's edge. Each claw of hers bend like the bodies of snakes, twisting and wrapping around things in a slithery manner, at least that's how they appear to be. She rarely handles anything physically and the times that demand she do will see her use far more monstrous forms than even this.

As a spirit she's as mischievous as they come. Having abandoned her life as a physical human being long ago she's fully embraced her existence as a phantom. She watches the silly struggles of the foolish mortals, amusing herself at their expense. Having lived her whole life free of consequence for the most part she's grown wholly absorbed in her own entertainment.
And none offer her more amusement than the pathetic struggles of her dear sweet brother Edgar. He is both a cradle and a toy to her. She derives constant mirth from his misery and is confident in his resilience since he is also her home, his head a safe place for her to curl up and recuperate her strength.
She loves drama and sees the lives around her as a great theater set up to entertain her with the unfolding story of it's many characters. Of course a story without it's inciting incidents would be dull so occasionally she has to be proactive and set up some "incidents" for Edgar to get caught up in. This way she can experience the great story of this world unfold through his eyes, constantly pushing him forward and making him act just to see the events that arise from these actions and perhaps even make him an actor within this vast play they call life.

She haunted the school, creating trouble for everyone as she reveled in her boundless freedom.
And this went on for some time. The world was her oyster and she took to it in a tornado of enthusiasm. This however lasted only so long. There were only so many times she could pull the wool over everyone's eyes with one of her many genius pranks before the novelty started to wear off. Their reactions at first were priceless but she found the more she subjected others to her brand of whimsy the less passionate their responses became. It was really quite tragic.
Alas she found her perfect victim. After all this time he was right under her nose, her own flesh and blood brother. No matter how many terrible things she subjected him to his suffering never failed to entertain her. Furthermore his mind was the perfect safe space for her to reside in. No one else would keep her, always fighting her out of their mind sooner or later. He had no such resistance however. His mind not only wouldn't reject her but couldn't. Their connection to one another meant no matter how he tried his mind was forever forward her home. A safe space that kept all the bad out and her in.

- Physical Drain - Any physical attributes from anything or anyone. So they can make someone's body extremely tired, but their mind will still remain the same. This is something that is also active through contact, but a simple layer of clothes would prevent this unless she concentrates her epithet to work through it.
- Self Senseless - Its possible to use it on herself to numb her physical senses to not feel fatigue, but this would require all her concentration and slow careful movement or else her perpetual fatigue may rush back to overwhelm her senses. It can also be dangerous as she may not know when when her body is at its limit and could collapse.
- Attractive Hydrokinesis - Able to move any kind of liquid from afar, as long as it is moving towards her.
Weapons:
Although her clothes help to protect herself and others from her epithet, the extra layer of protection allows her to enchant her epithet's ability into her gloves or cane by concentrating her epithet.
Description:
Due to her epithet, certain aspects of her body have had noticeable effects, one very noticeable thing being her very pale skin. With her grayed out long hair, thin physique, and height of 4'1", from behind people may mistake her as an elder woman, especially with her walking cane. But viewing from the front, she may look younger for her age. And to prevent accidentally using her epithet on people, most of her body is covered with gloves, long sleeves top and bottoms, and usually wears either a turtle neck, scarf, or hoodie.
Personality:
Some may say that she sounds quite devoid of life as she moves and speak. This would be due to her epithet's mental effect on her. When she does speak, some people may mistake her as being timid, but she is actually trying to conserve her energy by speaking slow and softly. That or she may be zoning out as she can sometimes be absent minded. Another addition that her epithet has left her is feeling a lack of understanding and dull grasp on her emotions. But it has left her curious to explore these faint feelings within her.
Skills:
- Known to be patient, is okay with doing very monotonous tasks and is very detailed oriented and organized. So she can be quite annoyed when something happens to suddenly get out of order or her focus gets broken.
- Can be a fast learner, when given the time.
- Great at most video games as she had to find something fun to do during her childhood as most physical activities are too exhausting for her. Nowadays she just prefers playing puzzle or strategy games.
Weaknesses:
- Body is very weak from being perpetually physically fatigued due to her epithet.
- Due to her epithet causing her physical fatigue, she has less stamina than the average person and could easily fall unconscious if she overexerts her epithet.
- When using her epithet on someone, if unaware of any harmful physical conditions that a target has, she may accidentally get the condition as she would not know to filter it and thus prevent the condition on herself.
Brief History:
As kid, was bullied and teased due to her weak appearance, making her an easy target. Not knowing what to do or think, she clung to the only feeling that she could really feel which was sadness as she tried to to stay away from people and seclude herself away. Once she became a teenage, she realized that her epithet could drain the energy or any distinct physical feature from someone, she felt a new found growing feeling of dominance over others. Due to this new dominant feeling, she cared less of others and cared more for herself as she no longer really felt sad or weak with the epithet that she truly possessed. With this new pride of herself, she would threaten not just old bullies, but those she did not like by using her epithet on them. Eventually she became known as 'Vampire' as she created a scary image of herself with her epithet. But after she finished highschool, she began to have an empty feeling as she wondered what else she should really do as people she knew went away to do their own thing while she felt she was stuck in a rut in her life. She spent a long time having some self retrospection on her life and feeling some guilt during her teenage years, decided to do something that try and make up for it. Luckily being an epithet user, she could probably find some job that where her abilities may be of some use, especially for others. Eventually, she found a job opportunity at Fairmouth City and decided to move and live there.
