Dalisy had been doing a good job of keeping her cool. Honestly, it was surprising she had lasted this long without joining a fight or punching someone. The mashed potatoes to the back of the head was the straw that broke her though. She looked at the man who had tossed them. Glaring at him. She was going to kill him. He'd be back by breakfast and if she so desired she could kill him again.

Dalisy leaped over a row of tables, tumbling, but getting back up and made it the rest of the way to the offending Einherjar. "Laugh at this asshole." She said and drew her sword from her back and drove it into his chest. She reached back and wiped the potato off the back of her head and flicked at the dying man. "Would you like to join him?" She asked the friend of the man.

Runa Johansson

Location: Hotel Valhalla - Floor 472
Skills: Amokinesis

Runa looked right into Klara's eyes, wishing that her problems just stemmed from being unable to accept her death. Truthfully, she hadn't had much time to really contemplate whether she had really died or not. She had a lot on her mind, with the knowledge that her father was a captive god and if she didn't do anything with the information she had, the universe could die. But it had been too long since she had arrived here, she couldn't exactly just casually mention what she had seen. No, she needed to fix this mess alone without anyone else in order to save face. What if they thought she was evil or something? The blood drained from her face, wondering how her meeting with Loki would come off to them. She hadn't mentioned it. It was also definitely too late to bring it up now.

She stiffened as Nadia put a hand on her, before delicately removing Nadia's hand from her person. She didn't mean it to be rude or anything, but her anxiety was skyrocketing. She kept alternating between a deep sense of shame for not speaking up and saying anything about the end of the world, fear that no one would believe her, and anxiety that there wasn't anything she could do to fix anything. "Leave me alone!" Runa demanded, but there was something different about her words. It was like they had a bit of extra spice to them, entrancing Arnora and Nadia to follow her instructions. Klara was immune.

"Not now... maybe after dinner I'll try to catch up with Elizabeth and see what's going on, but not much sense in trying now. It's only getting more crowded, and I'm pretty hungry." Lara's eyes followed Johns to see Magnus Chase and Alex Fierro, who were pretty famous, well them and their floor mates. Lara couldn't help but be worried for a moment, as children of Loki were always... Tricky. That was part of her issue with Elizabeth sometimes. It honestly wasn't their fault, just the problem laid more in what one of their siblings was. The Fenris Wolf. The very wolf that had taken her father's hand, (which yes he had offered willingly,) but it did not make it easier for her swallow that fact.

She did wave softly when she noticed another one of her siblings near Alex, T.J. She rather liked him, and had spoken to him at least once before. She was still looking around the room for some of her other friends and frowned as she noticed that still neither Arnora or Klara was there yet. However, her attention was diverted when she heard someone shove a sword through another person and groaned. "Would be nice to go a meal without someone getting stabbed, but that isn't happening here now, is it?"

"Runa..." Klara said softly, shaking her head slightly at her. Runa understandably was not wanting to be anywhere near anyone else, and a huge crowd of people was probably not going to be helpful. "If you don't go others might go to try and find you," she added, "And I'm not talking about just us, others you have no idea who they are. It would be better for you to go down there on your own terms as opposed to everyone else's... Just saying..." This likely wasn't going to be all too helpful, but maybe she could try to get Runa to just go with it.

Of course, those thoughts all went out the window when Runa screamed at the three of them to leave her alone. If it wasn't Runa's first day and she could get away with not going down to the dinner, she probably would have. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case, and Runa more or less had to go. "...I'm sorry for doing this but we really don't have time for this," Klara apologized towards her, before she simply walked over and picked her up as if she wasn't any lighter then a bag of potatoes and carried her over her shoulder and headed to the elevator. "Alright, let's get going," she said to Nadia and Arnora.

Hotel Valhalla: Feast Hall of the Slain:

"Geeze Dalisy is a little ball of sunshine isnt she?" John said as he watched her literally kill the guy right then and there, cringing slightly at the sight of it, as blood started to pour onto the table. Some Einherjar quickly backed away from Dalisy, the one dead Einherjar's friend quickly shook his head, actually looking a little bit nervous as well. "Nope, i'm good." He said, eyeing a knife that was on the table for a moment wondering if it was a good idea or not to use it and defend himself or not. "Do you think we should pull her away before she decides to kill someone else?" John asked looking at Lara, a Valkyrie swooped down and picked up the dead Einherjar and cleaned up the mess rather quickly before it flew off again the elevator doors then opened again.

Nadia's eyes glazed over for a moment as Runa gave her command, and made her way towards the elevator along with Arnora as well, as they held the elevator door open. Once Klara dragged Runa into the elevator as well, Nadia pressed the button to the Feast Hall of the Slain Floor, and the elevator started to go down. Nadia shook her head for a moment as she managed to shake off the Charmspeak that Runa had done to her, looking over at her for a moment. She thought about saying something to her, but decided not to at the moment she was being understanding about Runa's reaction right now she would have wanted sometime to herself as well.

The elevator door opened finally to the Feast Hall of the Slain, Arnora made her way off of the elevator and started to make her way over towards her usual spot when she noticed Dalisy with her sword in someone's gut and started to quickly make her way over towards her friend. "I leave for a few minutes and you kill someone already?" Arnora asked Dalisy jokingly as she watched the Valkyrie flying off after cleaning up the body.

"Lets head over towards the front table." Nadia said towards Klara there was a table that had a few other new Einherjar who had died earlier in the day as well. She then took her seat there, as well, Nadia just wanted to make sure that Runa didnt end up running off somewhere else in the hotel again either.

Elizabeth kept herself from rolling her eyes as the Thanes said they were going to discuss it. Forcing herself away from the table, before something happened with Dailsy, though she couldn't be sure what. Stifling a laugh, she made her way back over to the steaming girl, before taking a seat saying, "I have no idea what happened, but calm down. They're going to kick you out if you keep this up, and you should really stick around." She said, before sighing. Blood was so unsettling for a meal, but she was in luck, as she was unable to see it.

Drumming her fingers on the table, she said, "You should learn not to react so quickly, there are options better than stabbing people who upset you, you know." She chastised. She'd rather have torched the man's room, or otherwise prank him. Respawing the way they did meant that, while painful, death was nothing to be actually upset at. "Just, try to be creative next time, I know you can do it if you put your mind to it." She teased, sticking her tongue out.

Dalisy nodded at the dead guy's friend. Well, they were all dead technically. Just the guy she had skewered was more dead at the moment. She picked up the knife that he eyed and the extra dead guy's napkin. She used the napkin to clean up her sword before resheathing it. Back at her spot, she smiled at Arnora "Well sometimes I do it and you never even know."

Beth joined as well. Dalisy at first gave a small shrug at her comments and then added after she remembered the girl was blind. "It was cathartic. And sort of like a warning shot. If he bugs me again I'll make his afterlife Hell. Also, some people are like animals if you don't make it obvious why you are punishing them they don't get it. You got to strike while the iron is hot or some other such nonsense that people say."

There was little belief in what Dalisy said in her voice. She knew that she didn't believe any of that. She knew she had snapped and was taking it out on the man. Dalisy was always that close to being murderous, it was nothing new.

Runa Johansson

Location: Hotel Valhalla - Floor 472 -> Feast Hall of the Slain

Runa's eyes widened as Klara grabbed her and threw her over her shoulder like a sack of laundry. A large part of her surprise was from how strong Klara was, but really, she was mostly shocked from suddenly being grabbed and thrown around like that. Klara's mention of how it would be better if she came quietly only further unnerved her. She didn't want to know the sort of punishments dolled out in this afterlife. And if they were this serious about having to attend dinner, how would they react to finding out all of the information Runa had withheld from them? Her only real option was to lie and claim she didn't know, but then her own conscience might eat her alive.

She hadn't been lying about hating crowds. She was always freaked out in them. While she liked the idea of being able to vanish and not be noticed, she felt like all the eyes were on her as they went into the massive feast hall. And to make matters worse, apparently they were going to be sitting at the front table. Runa gulped, wishing that something would conveniently get her out of this. Her anxiety levels were going through the roof.

"This isn't so bad Runa, normally you can skip out on this sort of thing if you truly want to just hide away, but unfortunately you kind of have to be there on your first day when you come in. Since it's kind of a big deal if you just got here and all... I did give you the chance to walk normally, but we didn't exactly have too much time for all of this... So, sorry..." she sort of rambled on to Runa as she carried her to the elevator and the small group headed down to the feast hall. Klara really didn't like the fact that she had to carry Runa, but it didn't seem like she had much of a choice.

Following after Nadia, she went up to the same table as her and more or less plopped Runa down in a chair that was by Nadia, and took a seat at the table on the other side of her. "See? This isn't so bad... And you don't have to talk to anyone if you don't want to, so just remain calm and you'll be fine," she said quietly to Runa as she glanced around the hall at everyone else who was in attendance. Of course the place was pretty big and had a lot of people in it, she just was slightly worried that Runa might freak out over the crowd and try to take off again, that wouldn't end very well.

"Sure... Sunshine is the word I'd use for her." Lara was too painfully aware her relationship with Dalisy was strained. They were not friends by even the broadest of terms, and they were not enemies either. "No, just leave here... others are arriving to keep her from doing anything else too blatant." Lara did brighten up a bit when she noticed Arnora and Klara, and they entered with Nadia and... someone Lara had not seen before. That wasn't uncommon. Even for all her years there at the hotel she did not know everyone. Sometimes it had to do with floors, and sometimes it just had to do with the sheer number of people in the hotel.

However, Lara watched as Nadia steered her towards the front table. Maybe a new death perhaps? That did make sense. There was always at least one these days it seemed... there use to be more but it seemed that either there was less of them, or people were not dying as nobly as they might have in the past. "Looks like we might have a few new people tonight. How interesting."

Nadia Petrova & Arnora Skadidottir

Location: Hotel Valhalla: Feast Hall of the Slain
Skills: N/A

"It'll be okay Runa." Nadia said giving her a friendly smile as she gently patted her on the shoulder as the very last Einherjar entered the feast hall, there were about four other newbies that had come throughout the day. Two of them were older looking around their early thirties, and then the other two were closer towards their age. "Once this is all over we can do anything you want to do, or you can go back to your room and calm down there." Nadia whispered to Runa, a Valkyrie came down with a plate of food for all of them, before flying off. The food that was on Runa's would be something that she really enjoyed when she was alive, along with what was Klara's favorite food.

"Well you certainly have a really weird thing to be cathartic about." Arnora said looking at Dalisy and shook her head slightly, she wasnt above killing anyone who really annoyed her. But she wouldnt go out of her way to just to kill them either as she looked over at Elizabeth as she came over towards her and gave her a friendly smile and nodded towards her. "How are you doing Elizabeth?" Arnora asked Elizabeth, as she ran a hand through her hair slightly turning her attention over towards the front of the room. Seeing the table for the newly slain that day, as Runa, Nadia and Klara all sat together.

John gently gave Lara a slight nudge to get her attention. "You should go over and introduce yourself to the new girl or something, and find out why Klara was carrying her in like a sack of potatos later." He suggested, the girl did seem to be really nervous which was understandable he was like that to when he first died, then he turned his attention towards the Thane's table as Helgi stood up and started to introduce himself to the newly slain. "Good evening everyone, and to the newly slain here as well." Helgi said as the rest of the room started to quiet down.

Arnora took a seat down next to Dalisy and Elizabeth as she watched the front of the room with a little bit of interest, and then shook her head slightly when the Amokinesis finally wore off. She wasnt sure what Runa had done to her, but she didnt want to pursue that at the moment either. Nadia gently rested a hand on Runa's shoulder as a large screen started to come down from the ceiling, as Helgi started to speak again. "For our newly slain, we shall see their deaths picked up by the Valkyries that have chosen them for Odin's army for Ragnarok." He said, as the first person's death started to play through was the older guy, he was a US soldier fighting in the Middle East, managing to save a group of kids in the middle of the crossfire before being stepping on a mine. The other deaths were also heroic. Some saving others. But one thing was in common that they had a weapon in their hand while fighting and the other Thane's discussed their deaths before deeming them worthy, and each was claimed by their godly parent. The last one was Runa's as her's started to play next on the screen for everyone to watch.

"You're telling me stabbing someone doesn't relieve you of stress, weird." Dalisy said with a huge grin on her face. She was being mostly sarcastic. "Yeah, you didn't explain why you want to talk to the Thanes. What was that about?" Dalisy asked Elizabeth. Then the deaths started showing. Dalisy gave it some attention. She liked to know what to expect out of the new people.

For the most part, they were all standard. Fought someone or something, probably saved someone from certain death, and of course, all had a weapon in hand. Dalisy remembered there had even been a person who had had a fire extinguisher and that counted. The Thanes were pretty generous but it was required.

Sadly she had no new half-siblings. Dalisy was fond of family, even with the weirdness of being half Asgardian. It was part of why she was still attached to Niah. Though she always felt closer to Niah, even after years of being dead, Niah and she had grown up together. They were more family than the half-blood relations that came through here. And Niah would never enter these halls. Then what seemed like the final video started playing. It was for the girl Klara had carried into the Hall.

Elizabeth Flame

Location: Dailsy's table
Skills: Rune Magic

"I thought I said the world was ending." Beth said dryly. "I wasn't joking." She traced her fingers along the table, drawing out runes across the surface. "I'll show you what I saw, if you'd like." She offered, as her eyes opened once more, revealing their hollowed out shell. "Here, this was my vision." And before them, the surface of the table rippled and shimmered, before becoming like a moving painting, showing Elizabeth's dream from her perspective. A half face woman, Hel, sat on her throne, with Baldur in a cage at her side, "This is Eljudnir, Hel's base in Niflheim, and that caged figure is Baldur." she explained, as the table faded back.

"This is one of the signs of Ragnarok, you see." She explained, closing her eyelids once more, before continuing to say, "If my vision is to be believed, and it should be, then the end times are coming. All will burn, and the world will end." She said emotionlessly. She was too old, it felt like, to have been born so long ago, and live to see the end times. "We are all that stands between the world and the apocalypse, I don't know if fate can be changed, but it looks like that's our only option now." She sighed, rubbing her temples. "So, take your best guess as to how I'm feeling Arnora." She said, almost spitefully.

Runa Johansson

Location: Hotel Valhalla - Feast Hall of the Slain
Skills: N/A

Runa stared at Klara as she reassured her that everything would be fine. Had she not been a naturally quiet person, she might have been tempted to complain to her and explain that everything would not be fine - that she was about to be exposed for the information she had gained and everyone would hate her for meeting with Loki behind their backs. She hadn't been in this place for longer than a day and already, she was about to become a social pariah. Maybe she could just hide in her room until Ragnarok. If she drank enough wine, would it dull the guilt eating away at her for not saving the world? She didn't ask to be given this information. She didn't ask to be sent to Valhalla. She didn't ask for her father to be a god. All she wanted was to be alone.

She didn't feel hungry at all, even with her favorite food placed in front of her. She pushed her plate gently forward, not saying a word to Nadia or Klara. There seemed to be little point in it anyways. What could she say to them? Would they believe her? Wouldn't they just hate her for her not saying anything about everything that had happened to her that day? Despite just meeting them, Runa really wanted them to like her - and it was just heartbreaking for her to know it could never be. Other people who died were having their death's be replayed and as Runa's went up, she froze, certain that doom was about to arrive for her.

"Yeah, you wanted to maybe sneak out and head back to Earth right? We could do that after all of this, and just know this is kind of the only time you are really required to be at the dinner table, the night you first come in. You don't really have to be here all of the time after that," she added in agreement with what Nadia was saying with a smile. She hoped that Runa wasn't mad at her for more or less dragging her down to the Feast Hall. It hadn't been how she wanted things to happen, but they really didn't have time for her to sit there arguing.

She looked over as the videos were played of the other newbies deaths. This was definitely something she somewhat enjoyed, seeing the way people had died that ended up with them being picked by the Valkyrie. Klara still remembered her own death and her own feelings about rewatching it with everyone here. It certainly had been a hard thing for her, since her brain had still been processing what had even happened, so she could understand what was probably going through Runa's mind. She just leaned back as she saw Runa's death appear on screen, she glanced over towards the girl, a bit concerned with how she was doing during all of this.

Nadia Petrova & Arnora Skadidottir

Location: Hotel Valhalla: Feast Hall of the Slain
Skills: N/A

Arnora watched as Elizabeth played the weird little vision that she had gotten, and leaned forward slightly, she wasnt sure if that was actually Baldur or not. But she knew that this had something to do with Hel, since Baldur had been dead for a really long time now she was one of the oldest Einherjar as well. "Well, legends say that Baldur has been dead for a really long time now. And Ragnarok is something that is inevitable as well, it can only be postponed." Arnora said as she turned her attention towards the newbies as they started to show the way that they had died.

Nadia watched as Runa pushed her plate of food away, feeling bad for her she still understood what she was going through still as the next death that was being played was Runa's. A Vatnavaettir which was a water horse, if anyone touched them you would be dragged into the water and eventually drowned. Runa running forward with a toy lightsaber in hand and trying to save the beach goers that were there Runa ended up being dragged under the surface of the water and drowned. Nadia turned to look at her for a moment, which was actually really brave to see then it was all done, it was reminiscent of her half-brother Magnus from the stories that she had heard of him and how he had died.

The Thanes quickly started to talk amongst themselves, when the DÆG rune appeared over Runa's head, the rune that was associated with Baldur himself. There hadnt been a child of Baldur in a really long time as the room started to whisper amongst themselves. Arnora turned to look at Elizabeth for a moment, her statement earlier was pretty much wrong then seeing Runa being claimed by Baldur himself. "Okay, I was wrong about that then." Arnora said as she watched the Thanes some more when Helgi stood up.

"Quiet down please, everyone." Helgi said while looking at everyone else in the room, before speaking. "Though Runa's death is a little bit unconventional she had died with a weapon in her hand, protecting those that couldnt protect themselves the halls of Valhalla are open to you." Helgi said, when there was a lot of mist coming from the pond that was apart of the feast hall. The Norns came out from the pond and the three women started to approach Runa, Nadia reaching for her sword for a moment as the three of the Norns surrounded Runa before speaking their prophecy.

'A god, long thought dead,
must be found, and brought back,
a child of the god of light must find him
to prevent those who want him dead.'

"I'll introduce myself later... seems that dinner and the reviews of the deaths are going to start soon..." Lara trailed off a bit as Helgi began to speak and address everyone there. She sighed as she looked up at the recountings and then smiled a bit. A US Soldier was saving children, another and another... all Heroic efforts. Lara did smile and bow her head to the soldier. She had always appreciated Soldiers when she saw them, as she felt a sort of kinship with them. Of course, in one way or another, they were were all fighters, and soldiers. Some on one side of the war, some on another. Goodness knew she had seen a few fights break out for the first decade or so after she had arrived. She had even been involved in some of those...

She was recounting with fondness of a time she had punched an ex-Italian fascist soldier in the face after her arrival at the hotel when the girl she had noticed before death was played out. The weapon in her hand... was a toy? One she didn't know well. (She had never bothered keeping up with pop culture sometimes, but she knew that toy was a popular weapon in some science fiction series.) The rune however, that caught her attention. She was not sure she had seen a child of Baldur in a good long time. Heck, she wasn't sure she had even seen a child of Baldur arriving herself since she had gotten there. That was then when she remembered... he was dead. At Loki's hands. And last she heard, he was still in Hel's realm.

Her heart dropped into the pit her stomach was forming and she pushed her food away and then shivered as the Norn's surrounded the new girl, Runa, and spoke prophecy. A quest... to bring back the god of Light himself. The silence that had crept over the hall was soon broken by yells and cries as everyone was surprised to hear that the long dead god was to be brought back.

Dalisy didn't keep the surprise from her face when Runa's Father was revealed. Her jaw dropped and she looked at Arnora. In all the time that Dalisy had been here, she had never seen a child of Baldur, but she knew the rune. Everyone did. It was a sign of the end times. She looked at Elizabeth, she snapped her mouth shut and then said, "Well seems your vision will be taken seriously now."

She looked at the Norns. Dalisy had her own opinion about Ragnorok. She knew it couldn't be stopped forever. That it was inevitable. And because of that, she had a fatalistic look at it. Valhalla had collected a bunch of warriors who had died, who had failed to live through a fight. They were all doomed to fail again. It was dumb to her. Why get failed warriors? It was asking to fail more. They should have been collecting warriors that died in their old age after surviving a bunch of fights instead of ones who had died.

Dalisy sighed. "Guess we finally have to deal with the end of the world. Goodie." There was a hint of sarcasm.

Beth cackled a bit at Arnora's correction, before saying, "Oh, newbie is Baldur's kid? that's why she's so soft. Gotcha." She didn't know much about Baldur's children, but she would assume they wouldn't be the toughest things. She herself certainly took after her own dad in plenty of ways, cunning, tricky, and bad with authority, she was sure a god of joy wouldn't exactly have the qualities of a warrior. That being said, it was the last piece of the puzzle. Especially with that prophecy, she was certain now. The end of all things was barreling towards them.

"Well, we're right fucked. Hope you all have enjoyed your afterlives." She remarked, more annoyed at the ceremony than anything, not being able to see the rune above Runa's head. "For a place filled with dead warriors, you'd think there'd be more disability accomodations for our ceremonies." That did piss her off a good bit. She was lucky, being able to navigate the hotel blind, but she was certain others would have a lot more trouble. Her blindfold let her get past most of the hurdles, but that was pretty unique to her. "I'm guessing the Thane's will take me seriously now though, so that's good." She remarked, leaning on the table a bit.

Runa Johansson

Location: Hotel Valhalla - Feast Hall of the Slain
Skills: Wicca

Runa didn't notice the rune floating over her head at first. It was only when she saw people whispering and looking at her in confusion that she dared to tilt her head upwards, seeing the shimmering symbol. She had a passing familiarity with runes, mostly due to their usage in Wicca. She bit her lip, recognizing it as the DÆG rune - meaning day and by association, Balder. Her eyes darted over nervously towards the head table, seeing everyone conversing amongst themselves. Sweat was beading up on Runa's forehead. Every fiber of her being wanted to run, to disappear, to vanish, but she was frozen in place, unable to even speak.

Figures emerged from the mist and Runa's anxiety was skyrocketing. She had read about them. They were seers, priestesses who could divine the future. They approached her and surrounded her, making the air catch in Runa's throat as she suddenly felt incredibly claustrophobic. Their words haunted her, charging her with bringing Balder back from wherever he was being kept alive or the world would end. It was too much responsibility for her. She was just a teenager. That was a job for someone older, someone who had at least finished high school, right?
