Good idea. Most of the time the group will be facing multiple enemies in combat so that's not an issue.

PS. For the record, if you need to imagine her voice just imagine literally the voice of Pinkiepie from the new MLP. Just don't transpose the personality. Mia is a fully grown and serious woman who can take things seriously. She just chooses not to because a) it's not fun and b) it's not helpful. Better to be upbeat and happy than to not be.

PPS. Seriously I can't wait for this to start. Last time I was this hyped was 10 years ago.

By the way, for sake of convenience what's everyone time zone here? My box is currently orbiting around Europe so that's as close to GMT as makes no difference for any americans.

Also just how ruined is this city right now? The OP made it out to sound as if it was heavily destroyed.

My post is up. It's a bit short compared to the rest of you. But in my defense this is my first post and I am still figuring out how to depict a girl that's having a breakdown and coping. And I figured in this case less would be more. Just giving you an insight into her mind if you will. At least until I run into one of you guys and you can talk to her and see the state she is in.

Anyway, if it was too short or not good enough for this class of RP or something similar do notify me and I shall work to correct it and correct my self in the future. And even if it is good enough someone tell me as I am new here and do appreciate the instruction. But I think it'll be fine.

Also, feel free to bump into her now. As she (and I due to a lack of knowledge about the city) is utterly lost in this place.

Less-is-more sometimes. Never feel like you have to reach the same length of postage as some of us or have to go out of your way to put in soundtracks, etc. Some people just like adding some extra flare.

Well if nothing else, nothing wrong in going over a post you've already done and sprucing it up a smidge if you feel like it.

It's just that I've been out of the game for a decade or so and am thus a bit paranoid about screwing my chances on this one shot in my life I have at getting back into the hobby I enjoyed for many years. And thus I overreacted... sigh. I think I nailed the opening part though. Bonus points to anyone old enough to get the reference from that first paragraph.

Random question for the future. Does this forum operate on like a turn system or something where we each get a turn to post or can I, if someone happens to get inspired along the way fire off another one or ten (assuming of course we aren't in some situation like a fight or something but are just chilling like just now)? Or do we wait our turn? Not that I would right now but asking in general.

I would say this:
1. Don't double post. (There'd be no point anyway)
2. If another player is interacting with you, you can post in direct response to them back and forth, but try not to go too crazy unless you're positive no one else wants to jump in as well.
3. If your character is on their own and no one has directly done anything in response to your last post, once say two or three other people have posted, it's probably safe to post again and move things along for your character. Or you can continue to wait for a good opportunity to do something. It's a judgement call at that point.
