Name: Seyrun Riviathan Appearance: Regular Transformed Description: A mysterious transfer student from a faraway country who goes at a high-class all-girls academy. She has a gallant personality and a charming air about her that makes her the ideal Prince Charming out to steal your heart and your books. Grimoire: • Title:Arc d'Lupin ~Legend of the Phantom Thief~ • Description: A grimoire containing the exploits of a daring thief who could steal anything. The stories of his deeds as he fooled mages and detectives alike are thrilling but the ending is vague for there's always more treasure to get over yonder. • Abilities: Arc d'Lupin's powers are all about being a suave, skillful thief who can succeed by their wits alone. Seyrun's applications involve summoning cards to attack, opening locks, disappearing in plain sight, etc. Most interestingly, she can create mercury constructs, shaping them in a variety of ways but being especially fond of using them as chains and mirror to help with her thievery tricks. Description: A charismatic young boy who just so happens to be the first and only male student allowed at a prestigious all-girls school as some sort of initiative headed by the Headmaster of the Academy. Not much is known about this student other than his loyalty is unwavering and his bright spirit is immensely contagious. Grimoire: • Title: The Butterfly Ninja [Mulan/The Princess and the Frog] • Description: A beautiful Wuxia tale of a heroic prince who harnessed the power of his ancestors, in the form of arcane magic, to defeat an evil overlord who threatened to bring an end to peace among the kingdoms. • Abilities: Much like the prince from the story, Yuri's magic/voodoo takes the form of beautiful spectral butterflies. He can sprout beautiful iridescent wings that allow him to fly. He can transform into a swarm of colorful butterflies if harmed suddenly to escape, or as means to travel quickly. He can even open portals to "summon" creatures to do his bidding or travel great distances. The spectral butterflies can do great and marvelous things. They can be used to either shield, enhance, or destroy. The extent of this magic solely depends on the willpower of the caster. He's also able to move like a ninja and is a brilliant martial artist. He can scale buildings like an insect. A list of current butterfly colors and their effects is listed below.
Blue Butterflies - Protection and Absorption. They can be used as shields against negative energy and oncoming attacks. The more powerful the negative energy and attack, the more taxing on Yuri’s body. If not careful it can weaken him severely.
Black Butterflies - Voodoo Enchantments. The only sinister part of his arsenal and most powerful. The full extent of these butterflies is unknown and they resemble skeletal butterflies with black smoke trails. Yuri's aura darkens when he channels this power. Prolonged usage can potentially have negative consequences.
Purple Butterflies - Offensive Spells and Counters. Either used in a swarm-like beam to cause damage, or used in larger forms to decimate. Yuri can attach a purple butterfly to an ally and enhance their abilities. He cannot enhance his own abilities.
Weapon: The Luna Moth Staff has four different modes (Yuri will uncover them as the story progresses) and can switch between these different modes in the blink of an eye.
- The Luna Moth Staff takes the form of a sentient wizard staff that allows Yuri to channel his arcana and utilize his martial skills to an extent. It is a beautiful magic staff with crystals that hang on unbreakable diamond tendrils that retract and grow near limitless. The crystals are shaped like luna moth and possess sharp edges, able to slice through rock.
- The Luna Moth Staff takes the form of a deadly sentient rainbow scythe. In this mode, Yuri is able to move more offensively in battle. The blade on the scythe is strong enough to slice through lesser metals and maintains the dangling crystals from Magic Mode. Yuri is able to wield the scythe masterfully and can throw the scythe, like a deadly boomerang, catching it when it returns. It will only answer to Yuri and will not allow another to touch it. From the blade, sickle energy can be release from a distance.
- The Luna Moth Staff takes the form of a long crystalline blade able to slice through medium-grade metals and puncture steel. The crystals that once dangled are not replaced by a beautiful butterfly on the guard, and one single tendril that dangles from the handle of the sword. That one crystal has the same abilities as the ones in Magic Mode, and Reaper Mode. Yuri becomes a deadly swordsman for intense close combat. When the blade absorbs dark energy, it purifies it and increases the strength of its cutting edge. Though very lightweight, the sword is unbreakable. - The Luna Moth Staff takes the final form of a long arch-mage staff. In this mode the power is evident, the mastery is clear. There is no mistaking the journey it took to unlock this mode. The staff loses the ability to shift back to the Magic Mode, as all abilities from the magic mode are transferred, but it maintains the ability to shift to Reaper and Blade Mode in the blink of an eye. The staff is one of legend, said to have been bestowed to an Arch-Mage by a god. There is much to unlock within the Master Mode.
Name: 小刀禰 夕朱 (Kotone Yuzu) Age: 15 Appearance:Normal (Source), Transformed (Source unknown) Description: When there's evil afoot, her confident showmanship steals the show! When there's not, our heroine is modest and kind to everyone she meets! This quiet beauty has admirers from all over, yet none can get close enough to unravel the mysteries of her heart... Grimoire: • Title: Noble Robin • Description: The story of an archer highwayman who's chance meeting with a princess causes him to forgo his old ways. In pursuit of her love, he enters into an archery contest to show off his skills. The princess is swooned, but the two can never be together. In order for them to live happily ever after, Robin steals the treasures of her evil family together with his old friends. He scatters the new-found wealth to the peasantry before he and the princess elope into the woods. • Abilities: Robin was a master archer, able to hit his mark no matter how far or narrow the target. Yuzu gets a bow and deadeye skills to match, conjuring magical arrows to fire off at the enemy. Robin was quick on his feet and now so is Yuzu, able to fire off volleys of arrows during any daring stunt without losing the slightest bit of accuracy.
Description: An average student and animal lover. Momo is energetic and outgoing. She prefers hanging out with friends over being alone and can have trouble understanding when people need some time alone. Grimoire: Every magical girl begins her story with one unique grimoire, a mystical story book that somehow found its way into her possession. • Title:The soldier's tinderbox • Description: The story of a soldier that gets a tinderbox that allows him to summon up to three giant loyal dogs. • Abilities: Like the soldier from the story she can summon up to three giant dogs of different sizes. She can only summon one at a time and it goes in order from smallest and weakest to biggest and strongest. The order resets each time she transforms.
Akamaru the first and smallest of the three dogs. The weakest of the three but the easiest to control.
In Ayaka's transformed appearance she sports the same exact outfit from the reference but without the headband and glasses. Her physical appearance stays primarily the same as well but her hair has lengthened to her back and a long amethyst-colored ribbon holds half of her hair up.
Description: A lackluster and lazy student, Ayaka is brazen as she is broad. Open with her opinions but simply too lazy to tell them. Sleep and the lack of is her prime enemy and attacks her anytime throughout the day. But the few occasions when she is focused or awake, she's either serious, often cold, or ready to win any sort of battle. Determination may not align with Ayaka often but when she hones on one thing, in any situation-- she will get the last say.
Grimoire: • Title: Merlin's Prophecies • Description:A tale of an old wizard and his exploits. Known for his patience and wise guidance, he has fought off dragons and aided a king to rise for their nation. Well known for his magical gifts, Merlin is an exotic sorcerer who helps from the shadows. • Abilities: The Prophecies of Merlin grants Ayaka the ability to conjure a staff of which she mainly uses to aid her teammates from afar casting shields and healing injuries. But can also cast heavy-hitting elemental magicks, although, in exchange for destruction, she must wait patiently to thread her more offensive spells together via runes, magical circles, or a sacrifice of an object. Description: The moon rabbit hops onto the scene, primed and ready to beat evil back before lunchtime! Or Dinnertime! Or whatever meal comes next, really. This perpetually peckish girl is a foodie at heart, and loves nothing more than sharing good food with good friends after a hard day spent dispensing justice.
Grimoire: • Title:The Moon Rabbit • Description: On the moon there sits a rabbit, continually pounding away at soft mochi for the Gods. This grimoire details the daily life of that rabbit, as well as the friends that come to visit it on its home. Some say that the sweets this rabbit created were enough to heal the hearts and bodies of men and Gods alike.
• Abilities: Now you're a rabbit too!: By using this grimoire, Kanata gains the exaggerated powers of a rabbit. Sensitive ears, faster feet, and higher jumps, all of which make her more mobile than any human on earth.
Moon Hammer: A long pounding kine that resembles one used to pound rice or mochi, only much larger, made of grey stone, and with a glowing ball in the shape of a full moon at the other end of the handle. Upon making contact with an object or person, a ball of mochi will form that will quickly form into a Mochi Rabbit. These Mochi Rabbits are little helpers that resemble snow rabbits and bounce around on the ground. These constructs feel little pain and have the consistency of dough, making them spongy and resistant to physical attacks. Its also difficult to get out of one if you get stuck, but they are mostly harmless on their own, incapable of doing anything save for bouncing around and sticking to objects or people. They can also combine together, becoming one very big, squishy, sticky, harmless being.
Misc: Kanata is an amazing cook, and is often packing snacks for herself and others.
