@Wayward You're missing the point a little bit yeah. Dives aren't just a means to an end, they're what the roleplay is gonna be based around. If Liam is incapable to "fully" Diving then that leaves him in the dust. Plus, I don't think the ESP would let him do anything if he's a walking brain scrambler.


In that sense, I'm taking it that I shouldn't feel 'bad' or bland if my character's Dive is more alike to what the other characters have?

Gotcha. I'll rethink my concept then; was hoping to get some time today, but I ended up spending almost five hours at an urgent care clinic just for a physical exam. Big oof.

@mantou Ethan looks good, though I do wanna clarify a couple of things about his history. It sort've reads like being a psychic is something of a secret, at least that's how I took it, so I just wanna make sure you know that that's not the case. Psychics are a known thing in the world, so Ethan's fire team or the police wouldn't think he's crazy or outrageously weird for doing what he does. And I also wanted to ask... all of the other firefighters checked in at once? Or is that sorta brushing over a period of time when they did so?

Checking in with everyone again, seeing how the folks I"m waiting for are doing. @Wayward@Dead Cruiser from what I can remember, at least of who's not in the Discord.

ALso wanted to get a general opinion here: I've realized that, while they're interesting, Archetypes probably don't actually matter too much to the overall nature of the roleplay, and doesn't add much to the experience. If anything it's probably a bit limiting. I wanna hear from the players what they think, if we should leave ARchetypes as is, or if you think it'd be better off extracting them out of things?

Hey. Sorry for the absence. Started a new job today. The last week or so has been all about getting my paperwork squared away for that.

Also, Archetypes strike me as something that could have potential, though to what end, I'm not sure. As they seem currently, they resemble summons like what you'd see in an RPG. Powerful entities or manifestations tied to the characters that could reveal themselves in a tight spot.

@TruthHurts22 I had a good time working with archetypes during character creation, never really tried anything like it. Personally, I enjoy having set "roles" in that regard, so that there's no overlap. I think it'd be fun to see how it all plays out in this RP!

You can leave Archetypes as is. THey're not taking anything away from the characters and definitely aren't interfering in the story. :)
