As the pale-skinned man with dark blue hair opened the door, two things flashed through Blaze's mind. The first was how good-hearted the person that opened the door for him was and the second was how easy it was to open the door himself. It was so trivial, that the simplicity of it made Blaze think he was a complete idiot. Paco burst into laughter.

"You have the wisdom...of a dragon, yet...a door...beat you!", he tried to say but his words could not be heard clearly through his laughter.

"Like you had any better chance..." Blaze replied annoyed.

Once again, he saw the person who helped him on the other side of the door.

"There. I think that will help, Blaze"

They looked quite alike as species. He first thought of saying hello, since that is the way humans begin conversating, but then he thought that this is not the right action to take, considering the situation. Instead he replied:

"Thank you very much mister! You are really kind!"

He then remembered that "mister" is a honorific that is usually used on older people. Blaze wandered if they had similar age, since he didn't have an idea how older people look like. He even considered asking him if he could breathe fire, a sign that a dragon reaches adulthood, but he abandoned the thought soon. Then it striked him that he knew both his name and the fact that he could not open the door and needed help. He rushed to ask him but the man had already reached the Atrium.

"Hello", the stranger said to three other people.

With that, Blaze confirmed that humans, as he assumed that this was their race, use "hello" as a means of interaction. He then examined the other three people that were there. One of them was leaving the Atrium. Since he only knew of males and females by reading books, he only recognised women from their curves, thus mistaking a young woman for a man, since she was lacking in curves, despite the other obvious differences. He decided to follow Xabiz's example and be friendly.

"Hello lady, mister...and mister who is leaving!" he said to Evangeline, Ryko and Alice respectively.

"And so it begins..."

It was too much. Way, way, way too much.

Lethia had entered the large temple, and normally, she would've been able to appreciate it's beauty. Not this time. She had to close her eyes and place her fingertips at her temple. Her senses were on overload as new sensations began to overwhelm her. That tile on the floor was a little crooked, suffering through too many heels stomping on it in it's youth. So what if she fixed the angle...? That fountain, it had too much water flowing out compared to normal days, maybe if it would lessen a little...

Suddenly, Lethia's mind grew still, no longer sensing any of that nagging OCD-esque thoughts. In confusion, she opened her eyes to no longer see anything out of order. The fountain's water flow was slightly less than before, and that tile was no longer crooked. She couldn't tell where it was anymore, actually. She blinked a couple of times before realizing that everything had a new feeling of tranquility and order.

What was going on?

Could this have something to do with her becoming a goddess? Almost immediately, Lethia scoffed at that thought. What would she be a goddess of? OCD-ness? The need for everything to be perfect? That didn't quite fit with herself. Nevertheless, something was going on, something that had changed Lethia's mind forever, and she couldn't tell if it was a good thing or bad.

It was good. Right? Hopefully.

Spotting a group of people chattering near the newly balanced fountain, Lethia drifted silently over to them, halting once she was about 10 feet away from them. Social interaction wasn't her forte, but she felt more at east as she discovered other people here as well. She stared at them in turn, feeling new thoughts swirl around her head.

Stop. Stop. Stop. Stop. Stop.

She couldn't decipher her new thoughts, they were being muddled and garbled. What was going on? What was her subconscious trying to tell her? Until she figured it out, her head began to ache once again.

Her warm smile did not leave her face as the girl patronized her own marvelous power. She was the deity of flight, but she laughed upon the thought of not being able to fly. She avoided the sick feeling in her stomach as she told her that it wasn't as impressive as her own. She didn't feel impressive at all, she was humble most of all but there were flaws in to being such a deity. But this conversation was no longer about herself, she was now engaged in learning about Ali-bird. She smiled to her own nickname for the woman in front of her, now that she mentioned flight, her eyes did remind her one of an eagle's. Large, bold, and mystical. Her face relaxed due to the immense smiling.

"I think that is a wonderful deity. You are probably light as a feather." She laughed mildly only to keep the atmosphere relaxed and comfortable. "I believe you do not only represent flight, with flight comes absolute freedom. Sometimes freedom is the key for happiness in life. What is more free than flight." This wasn't to comfort her uneasiness about herself but to speak solemnly out of honesty. She went to speak again before a young looking man appeared, she gave him the same warm smile she had given to Ali-Bird. But the tension soon grew thick as she could feel her emotions, yet she kept it to herself. She watched her carefully, until she finally scurried away. She watched after her, not wanting to jolt in to her head and ask her what was wrong. She didn't want to have anyone find her as a freak, or nosy. People usually didn't like the fact she could read their emotions, mind, and even speak to them.

She turned back to the boy who seemed bothered by her reaction but she could not blame him. She wanted to admit that it was a bit harsh, but she was sure Ali-Bird had good reasoning behind it, it could had been the way he sat himself down.. She stayed calm and faced the boy again, only for him to still be processing the girl's flee. She felt slightly offended when the boy assumed she would do the same thing. Evangeline had no reason to run. "I have no reason to run from you, or to chase her. It is obvious she wants to be left alone." She looked towards the door and back at him, able to return the smile to her face. She reached out her hand as she sat herself back down on the edge of the fountain. "Hello, I am Evangeline. Deity of Complexity." She included it because she figured a pattern would soon begin when she introduced herself to others.

Actaeon fell through the bushes scratching and clawing attempting to get a hold of something but he just continued to fall until he hit the ground. He looked around and he was in a forest, it held florescent plants and strange creatures. He looked around for a moment and sniffed the air he was reassured by the scents he picked up, none of them seemed to be malevolent rather all pleasant calming scents. He relaxed somewhat but remained more or less on guard, he followed the scent at a casual walk and found himself looking at a massive tree and noticed a temple on one of its branches. A woman in golden robes appeared before him extending her hand, in it was an envelope. Actaeon took the note and tore it open, he read it in his head.

“You are here to learn how to take my place when the time comes.
I know you have waited for some time ever since you were capable of thought.
This is the way it must be my pup, you will train to replace me someday.
~Lupa”

Actaeon looked up from the note and noticed he was in a temple, very light inside compared to the forest outside. He looked around for the woman and didnt see her, he sniffed the air and followed a scent to a room. He saw two other people and extended his claws somewhat, a woman and a man.

"Kak teb'a zovut?" He said in Russian, they didnt seem to understand "Ty govoriš' po-russki?"
"Nǐ shì shuí?" He said in Chinese, finally he tried English with a Russian accent, "English? Perhaps English, yes?"

He smiled at woman his uneasiness suddenly gone. Her smile seemed to warm his heart and calm his soul. Then again, maybe he was just happy to see someone so friendly again. He'd be a hermit for all these years after all. Almost 100 years spent by himself. It was time he saw others. Perhaps, time spent with the memories of humans had made him this way.

"It's nice to meet you, Evangeline, Deity of Complexity." He began. He stood up and made a show of bowing to her. He glanced up at her with a large grin on his face. "I'm Ryko. Deity of Rebirth." He told her, giving her an awkward smile. He wasn't sure how she would take knowing what he was.

His thoughts were inturrupted by the voice of another man. Turning, Ryko looked at the man. He seemed very.... big and blonde. He spoke, his voice low and gruff. "What's your name?" He asked. Then, "Do you speak Russian? Chinese? English? Perhaps English, yes?" Ryko blinked looking at him. One of his powers allowed him to understand any language. It would be bad if he remembered a person's memory but didn't understand it. He grinned at the man. "Any language will work for me. I'm Ryko, the Deity of Rebirth." He replied with a small smile, his swirling blue eyes watching the man. What sort of deity was he?

Innocentius succeeded in going in a giant circle, and ended back in the first room. He noticed immediately someone who seemed very confused, and also a bit dizzy. He ran over.
"Are you okay?" he asked. He wasn't exactly sure what he could do to help, so he just stood nearby.

"A whole new word."

Lethia's eyes snapped towards the new figure, not having expected anyone to come talk to her. Immediately, she was overwhelmed by the wave of innocence. Something about adorable person screamed "Too much!"

This only served to confuse the poor girl further. How could she feel something about someone who she just met, especially because he was kind enough to be concerned for her. Lethia closed her eyes for a brief second, taking in a deep breath to compose herself. She had a sudden urge to take away some of the purity that radiated from him--which was very strange, Lethia wasn't exactly a vengeful person, especially to strangers--there was just too much innocence there.

She mustered a wry smile and gave a slight nod of her head. "I'm fine, thank you."

Lethia realized that the more she focused on other things, the easier that urge became to handle. She could balance her rational thoughts with the raw urge, and it worked. This was only a temporary relief however, Lethia was more worried about where that urge came from. Why would she want to cause misfortune to a stranger?

Harreydin awoke from his fall, surprised that he was not dead. For in his unwary steps he had stumbled into some pit on this strange new world and the last thought which had went through his head was that he would die in this vast world of greenery and exotic plants. Instead, he realised that he had simply fallen down to a further level of this forest, with the largest tree he had ever seen in his life standing before him. Before he took another step, he checked to make sure he had not dropped any of his gear, which included his strangely new forge tools, and the weapon he had made before he was whisked away to where he was now, the scimitar Drakan.

Glad that nothing had fallen loose, Harreydin raised his head and was surprised by a woman in robes of gold whom suddenly appeared out of nowhere. She presented him with an envelope, and despite his limited literacy, he found himself able to read it perfectly.

Harreydin,

You are here to learn how to take my place when the time comes.
You may be upset with me now, but you will understand
Everything when the day arrives. You will become a God.

Olmec, The Forge Lord.

In both a mix of shock and awe, Harreydin was speechless and therefore said nothing as he looked back up to find the messenger to have vanished, though he noticed even further beyond where the messenger had been was a path leading up into the tree's branches. As his eyes wandered up he spied a magnificent temple atop one particularly large branch. That must be my intended destination, he thought. So, he adjusted his belt and leggings and folded the letter away in his pocket before beginning his ascent to the temple.

Innocentius - Main Room

"Are you sure? You seem to have a head ache," Innocentius returned. It was like she was fighting herself over something. Maybe it had to do with her Deity powers? Maybe she was the Deity of Endurance and was keeping some poor soldier alive. Or maybe she was the Deity of Heartache and was helping a family whose mother is sick.

"Aaaaah," Actaeon said smiling, " A god of communication, how... useful. I am Actaeon, or if you prefer my godly name Lupus."

Actaeon stood with his arms crossed then looked the woman over. He looked her over she was thin but not bone thin, she had long dark hair with gray eyes and some small mineral on her forehead. He pointed at her with one finger, and began to speak.

"So what can you do?," Actaeon said, approaching her. He stood within a foot and a half of her and sniffed the air around her, she smelled fairly nice and he smirked.

"I'm... not... the God of Communication. What an... oddly specific God..." Ryko mumbled, rather stumped, though it was a good conclusion given what the guy knew. Ryko turned to him, watching him talk to Evangeline. "I'm actually the Deity of Rebirth, considering I'm not quite a God yet." He replied, his voice still kind of low and mumbly. He wanted to be heard but at the same time, he didn't want to interrupt. He sighed and crossed his legs in his seat once more, biting his lips in a bit of a pensive manner. He guess the Deity of Rebirth was a rather broad spectrum. But still, it wasn't his choice. Still, he thought the title sounded cool.

He turned his head to look at Evangeline and then at the new comer. "So... uh... What's your name?" He asked, clearly looking at the man. For some reason, though he didn't know, he felt like the youngest here. Most of the other's he'd seen looked older than him. Though, he could feel in some of them their... new-ness. Maybe it was because he could smell the after effects of their rebirth. Then again, how would he knew? 119 years later and he still hadn't figured it all out. He sighed. There was so much to learn. Good thing he had quite a bit of time to learn it. He wasn't even the God yet. Someone else was filling in for his job while he learned it all, namely his mother. He had to admit, she was one tough cookie for being able to do all of that. He could barely handle what she gave him, which wasn't much. Just the stray soul every now and then and almost never while he was busy.

"Thank you very much mister! You are really kind!"

Xabiz heard Blaze but had been moving towards the central room with some other people in it far too quickly to bother returning pleasantries. There seemed to be two conversations, one between three people more in the center of the room and one off in a different corridor between two. He shook his head, his mind filling with visions of battles and love, death and life.

"I hate this." Xabiz said, quickly realizing that wasn't something that he should have said aloud. "Idiot..." he muttered under his breath, waiting for someone to ask him what it is that he hates, since many visions changed to people doing just that. Coming up with something that isn't my clouded mind of the multiple strands of futures shouldn't be too hard... right? He thought, Maybe no one would ask... maybe...

"Child of Lupa,The she-wolf" Actaeon said dismissively, "If you prefer my full name Actaeon, or you can call me Lupus . But most prefer the latter, and your name other than god of rebirth would be?"

Actaeon turned towards the deity of rebirth and resumed his usual stern face, "And what exactly does that entail?"

Ryko blinked. What an idiot he'd been. "Sorry. I don't know how I missed the fact you'd already told me your name. But uh... you did the same. I already told you my name was Ryko." He replied, chuckling at the end. Actaeon... Ryko smiled at the man. "I think I can managed Actaeon if it would please you." He continued, smiling. When asked about his powers, his smile faded, reflecting the face of the now stern Actaeon.

"Life and death. When I become a full fledged God, I will inherit the task of sending souls to their new..." He stopped, searching for the right word, "Their new shell, whatever that may be. Some turn into Gods, others into mere ghosts of themselves. Most are just sent into a shell similar to their last." He explained. Already a bad taste was beginning to form in his mouth. "It's not always easy, but it must be done none the less. Only those deemed acceptable may pass into the realm of the undead where they live in peace and harmony. Others end up as mere nothingness, blackness in an empty world the humans have called Limbo." He explained further. "Anyway, I'm tired of talking about it. It's a rather depressing topic, death." He told Actaeon. "What about you, Actaeon?" He asked, more than happy for a change in topic.

"Sorry, I was otherwise distracted," Actaeon said " I am Actaeon future god of the hunt and god of wild animals. I protect the creatures that man would seek to tame and displace from their natural home. My powers arent exactly... well its much simpler to show you."

With that Actaeon jumped to the roof of the building and dug his hands in holding on then swung his legs generating momentum and launched himself into the wall ahead of him, he dug his claws and feet into the wall to position himself. He then looked behind him and flipped off the wall, landing on his two feet. He walked over to Ryko and knelt next to his chair, he put his hand under it and lifted it with one arm. He held the chair there for a moment just long enough to establish the fact that he was strong then set it back down.

"That might suffice as an answer to what I can do," Actaeon said "I can also do some other things but here I don't know if I can showcase them properly."

Again, Ryko could only blink as he watched Actaeon... preform. That's what it seemed like anyway. Ryko chuckled and clapped his hands. "That's pretty awesome!" He exclaimed, a wide grin now on his face. He couldn't exactly show Actaeon his powers. Most of it just kind of... went on though... Maybe... "If you'd like to see a taste of what I do..." He began, pondering. In his mind, he was already calling to his mother, asking him for one small assignment. Within a few moments, he could feel one. He turned to face Actaeon, a smile on his face.

"Here is what I do. Or... what I will do." He told the man and then closed his eyes. He shifted through the souls memories. This was a young girl... no... a woman. A car accident... Ryko inwardly cringed. Mother usually sent him the nicer assignments, old people usually. Those didn't make him quite as sad. but this woman was too young... He sighed and pulled the soul out of her body. Actaeon would see a small white orb form in front of Ryko, a small pulse could be felt within a few feet of it. Ryko opened his eyes to the soul and let it rest in his hands. "This is a soul. It used to be a young woman. Now..." Ryko stopped, listening to the voices in his head. "She shall be a man, a priest, actually." He explained with a smile on his face. With that, his kissed the small white orb and it vanished, into the stomach of yet another human woman. Ryko smiled over at Actaeon. "That... is what I do." He explained, already silently thanking his mother. "I also have a healing power but I don't plan on hurting anything to show you that. You'll see it when it time, I'm sure." He continued, still sitting in his seat. He actually hadn't moved at all since he'd sat down before. He liked be lazy... Moving was too much effort.

Xabiz was surprised when no one moved an inch to ask him about his outburst. I guess they're too enveloped in their own conversations to care He thought, taking a quick look around the room for a chair to sit in. Upon finding one and sitting down, Actaeon jumped up from the floor to the ceiling of the temple. He then launched himself to one of the walls, flipped off of it and then picked up another man's seat with him in it.

"That might suffice as an answer to what I can do." The man said upon finishing. That's it? Increased physical strength and endurance? I don't see why that was necessary to show off. Xabiz thought, futures changing rapidly to match the structural damage that was caused, as well as what that individual can do or cause.

"If you'd like to see a taste of what I do..." The other man in the chair began to show off his ability. Xabiz didn't understand until the white light appeared in Ryko's hands. Upon looking at it, Xabiz had an influx of futures with unlimited possibilities.

"A soul." Xabiz said aloud, amazed with the spectacle that took place in front of him. It was one of the few times he didn't see death in his visions, only futures of life. When Ryko kissed it, it disappeared and the visions of the futures for the here and now took hold.

Actaeon turned to see a man sitting down as Ryko left, Actaeon looked at him. The boys hair was a dark blue, doubtful that it would be recognized as anything but black to the normal human eye. He walked over to the man and sniffed the air around him, he appeared to be a normal human.

"So what is it you do?" Actaeon said skeptically " We've got Rebirth, myself, the good looking one over there who I can only geuss as to what her powers are, those others and you. So what can you do?"

"What can I do?" Xabiz said, only realizing afterwards that Actaeon wanted to know what his power or ability was. To be honest, so did Xabiz. What God or Goddess would he be replacing? How to say that I don't know, without saying I don't know... He thought, trying to come up with a quick lie and using his visions to see if he had a way out. Even though they had barely even met, the visions showed Xabiz's death often with Actaeon's strength and speed.

"I... don't think what I can do is all that important." Xabiz said, slowly standing and moving away. Jesus, do I already fear this person I barely know? Stupidity and insanity at the same time. Xabiz wanted an exit. An out. To try and focus the visions to show him the Future takes a lot of energy and he didn't want to pass out while trying to leave.

Actaeon began to smell the pheromones for fear and nervousness, he smirked and stepped away from the man. Then he took a fake step towards him bringing one hand back, just to punk him out.

"You've got nothing be to afraid of," Actaeon said lowering his fists "I can smell it on you, its not a pleasant smell trust me. Besides we're all soon to be gods not like I'd kill you or anything."
