"Guys, it might be easier to open a portal to the human realm!" She suggested, trying g to be helpful but knowing her plan, as always, would probably be shot down, her wings buzzed worridly, she had only planned to do a show like she normally did, she didn't think it would get this out of hand so fast. Her tail and mane where dark green. Worried. And grey. Shock. She had no idea what to do or where to go, she just hoped that her plan would be heard for once. She didn't want anyone to get hurt.

Zi actually glared at Richter, a rare event in public. "There's a front gate, kid," He growled, pushing Bee toward the front door as the crowd started to get it together after being stunned into silence. The effect wouldn't last very long, Zi knew. He glanced at Bee. "No." He didn't bother to apologize or be formal. He'd been hired to protect, so he'd protect. Every other distraction could burn, for all he cared.
Deaik let out an angry yell and tried to catch his balance, tripping into the back door, which swung outward, and tumbling outside.

Jaden watched Deaik fall, his form changing back to the bouncer. He pulled the door shut, locked it, and turned away, watching the scene unfold. The gunshot hadn't startled him since he'd seen Zi pull his gun out. This is going better than I thought, He thought, moving to get a better view angle like he was watching TV. This was up to the bodyguards and Bee now. He had no intention of helping.

Richter heard the suggestion of the gateway and he wasn't a fan himself of it, but before he got a chance to reply Zi had flat out turned it down. Fair enough I'm not a big magic fan anyway, makes me think of hats and rabbits. Hearing then about the gate Richter took a good look at it. Nothing too impressive, the lock seems a little bigger than the average one but not overly complex. I'll take a closer look. "You guys just wait here a minute I can handle this barrier to entry without issue." He declared as he approached the lock and fished out of his back pocket an ornate lock picking set, not one you saw every day.

The process initially was slow as he had to get the right hook to even get it started. Several minutes later it was just manipulating the pins to clear the way. That bit was done in about two minutes as the lock popped open and Richter took it off the gate, smiling back at them. "A non issue my friends." He claimed as he put away his tools and stepped aside for Bee and Zi.

Bee nodded in thanks to him and stepped out, her wings still buzzing worridly for the other people in the party house. "Is there a way we can help them?" she asked. Knowing she was the main target because she had the key, usually the parties never got this out of hand.. She wondered why it had changed so that it is, she shuffled her feet, worry in her eyes as she wanted to help but knew her bodyguards would stop her.

Zi sighed, flagging down the car. "Don't even consider it, Mistress. They'll figure themselves out. Speaking of out, in the car now if you would," He spoke in an emotionless tone, his usual tone. While he could have dealt with the lock much faster than Richter had, he had to appreciate that Richter was trying- even if it was slightly inconvenient not to break the chain. He would speak to the junior later, for three reasons now.
Deaik watched the three from a safe distance, where he was masked by the shadows. He wasn't planning to try anything, but he still fingered the knife he kept at his side. Maybe he could take out the head guard and earn himself some credit points with his fellow criminals. He doubted it.

Jaden decided not to calm the crowd, turning into a fly and exiting the building from the vents. He didn't want to deal with people at the moment. So he didn't.

Richter followed his orders and nodded at what Zi had said Yeah I mean you should be more concerned I guess with this 'key' thing. Whatever that was for or wherever it came from. He thought absentmindedly. He was still mostly in the dark about this whole scenario, protect Bee, was what he was told for as 'long as necessary.'. As the car rolled up, he smoothly got in the back seat and kept an eye over the rear and side view windows as he made sure to make room for Bee and his boss to get in, not knowing if Zi was gunna shotgun it or not.

He kept his ears peeled as he sat waiting for any approaching noise knowing it could be heard way easier than it could be seen.

Bee grumpily got in the car, her tail and mane a worried color for the people on the party, she always worried about others more than herself. But when it came to the key she would lay her life down to protect it. Her parents had trusted her to protect this key no matter what, so that's what she will do. She will protect it and kill to protect it. Even if it didn't look like it she was mighty powerful.

Zi shut the door and slid into the front seat, giving the driver a tense order which was obeyed immediately and they pulled off. He allowed himself to be lost in thought while he watched the road. The kid's clueless. Mention of the key confused him, so now I'll have to fill him in about that, or maybe I'll just leave him in the dark and yell at him for the rest. Yeah, that's what I'll do.
Deaik moved remained in the shadows, taking out his phone and calling somebody. It was one of his employers, who as far as he knew was just an average male vampire and nothing special. "They're headed toward the girl's house. Should I follow or call off?" He inquired.

Jaden answered as his phone rang. "Call off. They've had enough for one night and you already failed me," He responded, changing to his regular form before speaking as he leaned against a light post, watching the car fast approaching his location. "Go home, Sotto. We'll speak again tomorrow." He then hung up, keeping his eyes on the car.

Richter made himself comfortable on the ride over to where? Again he didn't know, as Bee and Zi got in and Zi got the driver to mash the gas pedal. He was having a flash back as he looked around him. A short time ago it was early evening with the orange sun just barely sitting over the clouds, it was outside some bar he frequented in NightLight city. He didn't go there for the booze or to even look at the ladies, he was just there to make some money and maybe make a few 'friends'... He had precious few of those in his past life, fact is he didn't have hardly any friends except maybe his old mentor from way back then. He was still kinda pissed that the man hadn't saved him from his execution.

But then again, I did go off on my own which was kinda stupid now that I think about it. The left side of his mouth lifted in a half smile as he continued to reminisce. The building was old, probably in the range of about forty or more years, with wood peeling off the side and a door that creaked as Richter opened it slowly. Inside the place was rather packed, most of the olden wooden tables were fully occupied but he spotted one off to the side that had a vacant seat. Though he did have to ignore this drunk lady yelling who knows what over in the other corner. There was also the Bar woman, a bigger lady with lots of makeup but done poorly, who tried to call his attention when he first walked in but he ignored her.

"This spot taken?" he asked the three with their chips laid out on the table obviously in the middle of a round of betting in poker.

Two of them were clearly normal street toughs, nothing too special about them physially or especially mentally. One of them made to yell at him to shove off but the Third man a dude with long curly black hair past shoulders gave him a quick glare which quieted him. This third man had a lined face which placed him in his thirties with a deep slash that began above his right eye and continued in the same line below his eye. He seemed to Richter like the only one of the three that wasn't to be taken lightly.

"Sure thing, but you can't join this game-tho it's mid progress."

Richter nodded quickly, "Not a Problem."

The game ended quickly, about two hands later. The other two players shook their heads in disbelief as they walked away not knowing how they had lost four hands in a row to a straight flush. Richter knew but knew better than to say anything as he knew the winner had extra cards up his sleeves and could count cards rather easily. It explained how he knew what to bet before the card even flipped from the deck.

The game winner Introduced himself.

"Name's Porat Theras. I'm a professional cheat and leader of the biggest group of thugs in town."

He offered his hand which Richter took with a tight smile.

"Name's Richter I'm new here but I'm a man of many talents."

"This could be the beginning of a great partnership."

Porat stated with a grin.

Richter blinked back into the present.

Bee laid her head on the car door and fell asleep soon after. Her mane and tail slowly fading into dull colors of sleep, her mane and tail not glowing. Her sleep dark and dreamless, she looked very peaceful in sleep, a bird landed on the car, a secret bomb.

Zi glanced back in Richter's direction. "Wake her up. We're almost there." He ordered quietly, careful not to wake Bee himself. He didn't like waking her up, so he would just make Richter do it. It was a passive form of showing his dislike for the junior, but it still was a form of it. He turned back to facing forward, giving the driver a look as the sunroof seemed to open of its own accord. The driver apologized and closed it quickly, meanwhile unbalancing the bird but not letting it inside the car.
Deaik stood there, staring at his darkened phone. He hadn't failed! The shapeshifter had interfered! He shook his head, heading home.

Richter continued his quiet travels in the car. Streets empty, street lights few and far between. The odd person out and about few and far between.

Several minutes later they were much farther away from the party house. Having travelled probably around fifty miles in Richter's estimation as he heard Zi's voice clearly. "Wake her up. We're almost there." You got it. He reached over to her peacefully sleeping form and tapped her shoulder a few times. Sure she would wake up, he noticed some movement in the corner of his eye, as he saw the sun roof close and a bird just above the car. Looks like a normal pigeon but what's with its vehicle fascination. I thought those things liked the corner of rooftops a lot more than hanging around moving vehicles. His eyes narrowed as he kept an eye on the thing. A few moments later the car stopped as the driver said they had arrived. He undid his seatbelt checked all the windows for threats as he slowly exited the vehicle. Motioned for Bee to remain there as he scouted around the area. Within minutes he returned not worrying about Zi as Richter let Bee know it was safe he offered her his hand to help her out the vehicle.

Bee woke and got out of the car, her house was a family house painted a soft blue color, her room changed colors. Both of her bodyguards had their own room as well, she saw a hurt bird and rushed to it. "It's hurt!" She said, worry in her eyes for the poor thing.

Zi fought to keep a frown off his face. "It's getting late, Mistress. You really should sleep. You have another show tomorrow," He suggested, but his tone said very clearly that it wasn't a suggestion. He wanted her inside. Spending time outside, after the events of the party, didn't seem like a good idea. And for all he cared, the bird could get eaten or something. That's just how nature worked. Call me cold, he thought, scolding himself silently for almost breaking his stoic character.

As Bee exited the vehicle and mentioned about the bird, Richter didn't get an edgewise word in as Zi quickly shut it down. It made sense though she was the top priority her and her key. Leave nothing to chance. He watched over Bee as presumably she would make her way inside the property. Nothing extravagant seems like your normal like three to five person abode. He was slightly disappointed as he thought she was an a high risk job to protect. He turned to Zi, "I'd like to cover the back of the property and I'll stay in the shadows as it's still evening, if you wouldn't mind covering the front?" It was the first time he made the plan and actually asked his boss for approval as he gave him a direct look in the eyes. Basically stating I'm not a joke.

Jaden, in the form of a white cat, crept forward, slipping through the gate. He'd followed the car, and his current objective wasn't very difficult: get Bee's attention and try for the key. Of course, he'd probably fail, having to act like a regular cat until they were left unattended by the guards.

She picked up the bird, glaring at Zi. "We have to help the bird first." She huffed, sometimes she acted like a little child while others she was very mature. Her tail lashed in a little anger because she wanted to help the bird so bad.
