Out of nowhere, everyone seemed to be asking me to do this and that, and before I could answer anyone, Kamina just picked me up and started charging head-first into the fight. He was surprisingly fast underwater, and I didn't have enough time to react. Thankfully, Celes' weird... um... light chain attack left both of our enemies wide open for an attack, and I ended up using tackle the moment Kamina arrived at their bubble, I aimed for the charmeleon in particular, and thanks to the somehow doubled power he actually seemed damaged by the attack, and even pushed back slightly. It wasn't much, but it was a glimmer of hope, and maybe this was all we needed. The charmeleon tried to use a sort of weird, grey slash-based attack, and somehow, I could tell that it was a void attack, so I jumped off of Kamina, and got in the way of the charmeleon's attack, taking the hit for Kamina, and not really taking much damage from the move, as well. The vulpix looks towards M, and fires off a flamethrower of her own in some sort of attempt to deal some decent damage to him. "Kamina, try to get in the way of that attack," I say to Kamina, knowing that a fire attack wouldn't do that much, if any damage given that 1.) we're underwater, 2.) Kamina's a water type, and 3.) Kamina's also a fire type. Kamina would probably be able to intercept the attack, given that somewhat fast underwater, and he's probably more than willing to, as he seems to be the most, um... determined? Energetic? Caffeinated? Well, one of those words might describe him, and any one of those three would work in this situation. I wonder... if this is what he's like as a magikarp, what's he going to be like as a gyrados? I think as I remember that his evolution should be happening pretty shortly... maybe even after this battle.

I was fairly certain that this wasn't the home of a fighting-type, but before I could say anything, a glint from the sunlight hitting something shiny caught my attention, and I hopped over to the left, and towards the glint. I notice a few pokecoins and a family painting under them. The painting wasn't too special, just some stuck-up serperior family, though, a couple of them looked oddly familiar. The two snivy in the picture... one of them reminded me of that old explorer, Vine, though, he looked weaker and less mature in this painting, and the other one... I couldn't quite put my finger on it, but somehow that other snivy looked familiar. That being said, I haven't met any normal-colored snivy, so, I had no clue why this one would look familiar to me. After probably taking too long to figure out why that snivy looked familiar, I hold up the painting, and quickly put the monry in my bag, and after that, say "Well, I think this painting here kinda confirms that there are no fighting types here. See? Just a bunch of grass types, and not even grass types that are also fighting types, either," I then continue my search for things this family might have left behind. They were serperior, so, they were probably rich, and probably left behind a bunch of money... right? I mean, heck, I already found some just lying next to some old painting, there was bound to be more. As I continued my search, I started to think about what I was going to spend that money on... my mother used to spend her money on things like berries and seeds, or apples, probably just to keep us all fed, and I didn't even want to think about my father, so, maybe that? But... we don't need THAT much money for stuff like that, right? I then look over to see that Tini fell, but somehow made it up here. I didn't know what to say to him, so I just gave him a smile.

Well, the good news was that someone was working to bring light to this place, but, the bad news? Well... another hypnosis beam was fired, this time at Daniel, and unfortunately, he couldn't dodge, and was put right to sleep. My teammates were dropping like flies, and I couldn't do anything to help. Man... I wish I bought a chesto berry back at the shop... I think as I look around for any possible sign that he might be around. I manage to see Daniel, and notice that he seems to be struggling in his sleep, just as badly as Terra was before the thing used nightmare on her. I prepare to counter an attack, and thankfully, one finds its way to me. A feint attack hits me, and I manage to successfully counter the attack, apparently doing a decent amount of damage to the enemy, whoever he was, as another scream of pain indicated. Another raspy cough, and the thing says "Please... let me eat... I'm so hungry..." in that same voice that made him sound almost dead. If he was so near-death, how the heck was he kicking my team's rear end so easily, and how the heck was he so evasive if he was starving? These questions kept me from believing that the thing was just some poor old pokemon who was in need of food and water, and kept me thinking of this thing as some sort of evil monster that feeds on dreams, or something like that. The mystery pokemon then sends one of those hypnosis beams my way, but thankfully, his attack wasn't as accurate as it was previously, and it just missed, flying just to the right of me. "Th... that was close," I say, somewhat frightened of what might happen to me if that thing ever hit, and sent me to the same torturous environment as Terra and Daniel... I don't know if I'd last too long if I ended up sleeping and having one of those nightmares.
