Mateiu shook his head and sighed when Katrice's dog continued eating Charlottes butterflies, completely oblivious to Charlottes rising anger, "Really not a smart move my furry friend..." he said as the group began to set up what would be their camp for the night. Mateiu wandered over to a tree and crouched, then leapt upward, quickly clinging onto a low hanging branch and scaling the tree as quickly with the sort of speed and agility of most monkeys, snagging a few of the fruits that grew on the branches along the way seeing as he'd brought no rations of his own. The hunter stopped about thirty feet up when he found a thick branch that would easily support his weight. Sitting down on the branch with his back against the tree's trunk, Mateiu looked down at the others and whistled before tossing down a few of the fruits he'd picked. A small gesture of kindness to break the tension, not to mention it would help save a few of the group's rations.
