Hello! Well, I myself am pretty much ready to start the RP upon Rose's signal, but let's see what everyone else come up with first. "Worst" case scenario, we'll have a few, but solid writers with each person doubling up.

And I read Illa's CS, nice. I think if we double up, Illa can have a fun dynamic with Millie, one's an adoptive prince who hides himself behind a mask and the other a blood-related princess who specializes in unraveling other people's masks, also both of them have something to prove to their respective families.

I have honestly no idea what the level of relations between any of these countries ought to be in this reality. I’ve been operating off of real world WW2->Cold War logic for most of my data for the boss, and with a magical Imperial Japan I can only estimate that global relations are ‘tense’ in a broad sense, but not necessarily ‘hostile’, because this Japan is a little scary.

On a schoolyard level, I highly doubt Millie will be the one receiving Gamer Speech lmao.

If we are going off WW2 relations, your character is gonna be a little racist towards mine and they are going to mutually agree they do not like each other though they willingly signed a nonaggression acted so they are like "love and hate" relationship type of deal. Everything is mutual. The amount of love and hate they will give each other.

And my other character, Alpheus and yours will have a very robust and progressive relationship. Their countries have been friends practically for centuries.

Me too, honestly. Easier that way, except the whole 'Monarchies surviving and thriving through the centuries, plus magic being a thing' aspect. So logically, WW1 wouldn't be too different, but WW2 would be like WW1: The Sequel instead of fascism, communism, democracy, etc, we'd still have monarchies vs monarchies (and America).

On that note, that'd mean that both Germany and Japan would remain militarily powerful allies since they were never split into two puppet nations or militarily crippled by Uncle Sam, respectively.

France and Russia were friends, against Germany. Japan and Russia were on very good terms even though they had a prior fight like a decade or two before that.
Japan was also teamed up with France, Russia, Britain, and other European nations during WW1.

WW1 = the majority of European countries hating the Great Roman Empire (Germany) for practically no reason.

I think I like the idea of a pseudo-random distribution of Knights to Nobles/Royals. At least ICly it’s ‘random’ or ‘school selected’, even if we OOCly deliberately pair them up. To that end, once I wrap up Himari I think I’ll aim to dig through my historical muse and make a knight with the intention of them not specifically ‘pairing’ with anyone else and seeing where we all end up.

I think the school randomly drawing wouldn't be a bad idea. It could be easy as well. The GM puts a noble to a number and a knight to a number. Rolling two dice. Noble 3 gets matched with Knight 5 or whatever.
