I know I'm not the GM, and it's been a while since I've done this, but should all the characters who interacted with Pompadour and his mates hold back a bit on posting so that all the other characters can catch up a bit? I mean, I feel we should all be in the colosseum before anyone starts writing about things happening in the colosseum. Just my two cents though. Like I said, I'm not the GM.

I can totally see where you're coming form on this. Seeing a lot of posts in the IC before you've even got a chance to post, or have only posted once and haven't really "gotten anywhere" can be quite intimidating.

However, as long as the main plot isn't advanced or moved forward, and people aren't "left behind", I don't see a real reason to hold back on posting. After all, this is a roleplay and one of the main draws of this hobby is to interact and see how different peoples' characters act and react to one another. No matter how much, for example, Kohra and Hikari talks and interacts, that won't really change anything for any other players, so long as Zeroth doesn't make a post that actually drives the narrative or time of day or plot forward in any way.

This is also why I include a TL;DR section in my post, so taht people who're not able to post as frequently, or aren't interested in what my character does, can just take a quick glance and now roughly what they're up to.

Those're my feelings on the matter, at least. ^^

Also, as someone unfamiliar with this world, what exactly should Kohra as a character expect from the exam? Are there more people in the colosseum than those taking the exam?

I don't remember the exact contents of the Magic Knight Exam myself, due to it being so long ago since I watched Black Clover. But I do remember somethings, but Zeroth's gonna have to fill you in the details and specifics.

But, basically, as far as I recall, the Exam is a public event with spectators showing up to cheer on or watch the applicants take the trial, as well as seeing which Magic Knight Oder they end up in. So, yes, there are a lot more people watching the actual exam than people who're actually taking the exam.

As for the exam itself, it consists of several different parts, including a Broom-flying/control test, a Sparring/Combat test (applicant vs. applicant) and... That's about as far as I recall, but I'm sure there were a few more bits invovled in it.

Joke's on you, I was listening to that (and every other season's OP) on my way to the gym this morning! They STILL slap (except, imo, Mystic Force and Operation Overdrive). RANGERS, FOREVER!

@Databug No worries, I'm waiting for several people in-between posts and trying to pace things out so that everyone gets an introduction and some interactions in before the actual exam starts. If you're interacting player to player instead of player to GM/NPC, though, my recommendation would be to either do a collab over PM, or just allow others to post in between your responses (Think A > B > C > D > A > E > B instead of A>B>A>B>A>B>A)

And what Xaltwind said about the Exam is pretty much spot on, the only difference is that the tests I've planned out are slightly different to the ones in canon--after all, anyone familiar with the series would've already seen those! ;)

What most people would know about them, unless you choose to have your character be less informed (which, just saying, would make sense to not know EVERYTHING), will be introduced along with the captains themselves. The "big three" of Golden Dawn, Silver Eagles, and Crimson Lions would probably be more known among the nobility for sure, while Green Mantis, Coral Peacock, and Black Bulls would likely have more widespread reputations among commoners at this point in time. And there are probably lots of fanclubs for Blue Rose scattered around, lol.

All exams are tournaments if you think about getting first place in em. If there are marks involved, ya get the highest marks. If there are solicitations from Magic Knight groups involved, you gotta be the fella who gets the most attention from em.
