That's correct, any phone number punched in would cause a 'the number you have dialed can't be reached' to be played. And connecting to the internet would be impossible. Meant to extend that feeling of isolation.

Not quite, the hunger counter goes up every time you post and don't eat. When it reaches 3, hunger pains and hallucinations start. But since you ate, the hunger counter gets reset to 0, and it will go up by 1 every time you post and don't eat now. :)

That is correct, kinda. You guys can't see or touch each other, but you can both interact with the stuff in the room. Thus, altering what the other person sees around them.

And of course, @Estylwen, please correct me if I'm wrong. p:
