Rowan raised a brow at the last statement and hummed. He turned fully to look at the floor before finishing his glass and setting it down. "Well. I'm going to go and see how wonderful the dress is. Try not to let Killian get bruised this time, gentlemen. I'd hate to have to start filing complaints." He grinned lightly, patting Killian's arm and then starting towards the small gathering in the middle.

Killian shifted, letting his hand go and then looking away at the mention of younger Omegas. He turned towards the bar more and sipped his glass more. That's unfortunate. He had been starting to like the brothers, but maybe they were just like the other Beowulfs.. Out for power and greed.

Aurora leans in close to Willow with a whisper and she turns to see Rowan making his way. She nods to the moth with a tiny smile, trying not to show her excitement to see him again. Someone waves a hand in front of her eyes to get her attention and she moves to look at ‘Mister Toad’, trying her best to hide her irritation that he would get her attention this way. “I’m sorry, did you need something, sir?”

“Well, we didn’t invite any Conans tonight so that shouldn’t be a problem,” Aethel says cheerfully as Rowan leaves before turning to Killian again. “Did your wrist heal alright afterwards?”

Xavier finishes his scotch with a frown. “Aethel stayed up all night cuddling the ice pack you left behind.” He turns as his lips twitch with the laughter he’s holding in.

The wolf didn't go to Willow and Aurora at first. He'd seen some of the other clients trying to talk to them, so he didn't approach. He didn't stay close enough in case he needed to intervene, but here he was talking with some of the male Omegas, offering smiles and hand kisses like usual. He still had an act to do after-all.

Killian shifted, glancing to Aethel and Xavier before nodding. "It healed. Thank you." He wasn't sure what to think now. He'd been enjoying their advances, but he forgot about the detail that.. Rowan was trying to shut down their operations. He sighed softly to himself, closing his eyes for a moment and then down the rest of his drink. Fuck it. He'd enjoy himself this evening. Ordering another drink, his gaze slid to them again. "What did you do this weekend?"

Willow bites the inside of her cheek to keep herself from frowning as Mister Toad goes on and on about his large estate in New Orleans. “That sounds… lovely.” She says as her eyes keep darting to Rowan. She feels a tug on one of her curls - her hair had been carefully curled into multiple ringlets with some pinned up and others let loose.

“Am I boring you, Miss Jewel?” The toad man holds the strand of Willow’s hair between his fingers, still pulling on it even after she’s turned her attention back to him.

She shakes her head slowly. “N-no, I’m sorry. You know rabbits, we’re always a bit scatterbrained.” She laughs, but the sound is awkward. Especially since Toad hasn’t let go of her hair yet.

Xavier had spent his weekend reading books. “Researching.” He simply replies before turning to look more at Killian. “You do look lovely, by the way. I’m sorry I didn’t compliment you sooner.”

“Xavier loves his books.” Aethel says with a small shake of his head. “I can’t say my weekend was much more exciting though, I was stuck doing all the last minute tasks for all this.” He gestures to the hall full of guests and Omegas chatting.“How did you weekend go, Killian?”

Rowan talked some more, keeping his eye on Willow and the toad. Yikes, he was pushy. He smiled to the ones he was looking at and slowly made his way to Willow and Aurora. He stood behind the toad a little bit and offered a smile with a tilt of his head. "Jewel.. and Aurora, so I've been told." He stepped closer to the moth, holding out his hand with a smile. "You both look quite lovely tonight."

Killian tilted his head a little, a couple of his curls brushing his face before he picked up his fresh drink and held it in his hands. "Thank you. You both look nice as well." He sipped his drink gently. "What were you researching?" He gave them a look, peeking at them through his lashes. "My weekend? If I recall the only exciting thing was lingerie shopping."

Willow’s eyes snap to Rowan, a small amount of relief evident in the large orbs. “Thank you, Mister Kimb.” She says, grateful for more than just the compliment. Aurora also says her thanks with a smile, eyeing the way Willow and Rowan’s outfits match. It seems she’s not the only one who’s noticed.

“Ah, Mister Kimb - you were given a private audience with Jewel at the last event… and now the two of you are matching outfits tonight.” He finally lets go of Willow’s curl to narrow his eyes at Rowan. “Someone might think you’ve already purchased her.”

Both brothers can’t help the look in their eyes when Killian mentions lingerie. Aethel beats Xavier to talking first. “Oh ho? And what did you buy?”

“You don’t have to answer that.” Xavier says, but he’s also a little grateful for the change of subject. He doesn’t want to admit that he’s been studying law in his free time as of late. Perhaps it was the events that transpired at the little soirée that caused Killian to bruise that finally pushed him into taking some action. He’s always been rather vocal about his view of their Omega ‘farm’, but now he’s actually wanting to help it change.

The wolf stood after kissing Aurora's hand gently and then looked towards the toad. He looked to himself, then to Willow and then back to the toad and gave a smirk full of fang. "I wouldn't be that disrespectful. I was allowed to send Jewel a gift. I just happened to choose the same color tonight by chance." That was a lie, but who was anyone to say anything to him about it.

Killian kept his gaze on them, flickering between the two before he smirked behind his glass. It was clear to both of them though. He lifted his head and sipped his drink before turning to face the event. His gaze followed, but then he looked at them in the corner of his eye, green eye glowing the slightest bit before looking back to the event. "Perhaps if you're good Alphas.. I'll send you each a picture of my purchases."

Willow can see the anger in the Alpha’s eyes as he continues to glare at Rowan and she chews on her lip briefly before she opens her mouth to speak. Only a small squeak comes out as she’s roughly pulled into the toad’s side while his arm snakes around her waist tightly. “M-mister Everett!” She says loudly, finally remembering his name as she pushes against him to let her go.

Xavier’s lips twitch, wanting to laugh at compromise. Aethel starts to say something witty when his ears twitch towards the center of the ballroom. “I didn’t know Jewel could be that loud…” He says in soft amazement before he mutters an apology to Killian and makes his way towards the commotion.

“Another piece of scum.” Xavier mutters under his breath. “If we keep banning Alphas, maybe my family will finally go into a honest line of work.” It’s wishful thinking, but he’s never been a fan of this business anyway.

The wolf tilts his head lightly as he kept his hand close to his chest while the other slides into his pocket. His eyes flick behind the two and then he looks back. "As much as we are allowed to touch the Omegas today, Mister Everett. I think you're being a little too possessive over Jewel when you haven't firmly purchased her yet. If you don't let her go, you'll likely be kicked out."

Killian looks over to Aethel as he leave, then to Xavier as he mumbles. His gaze moves back to Aethel before he turns and steps up close to Xavier. Extremely close, they're almost touching. He sets his drink down and reaches out with gloves hands, fingers sliding under the collar of his shirt and seemingly fixing it. He looks up at Xavier under his lashes before plucking up his drink and stepping back to his spot. "You should wear a lapel clip on your shirt collars."

“I didn’t see any rules against this,” Willow’s lips form a tight line as she clenches her jaw, feeling her eyes gloss over. The boar-born man hand holds her tight enough that she starts to feel pain in her waist. One look at Mister Everett would show that he wanted to hear her yelp in pain but she’s not going to grant him that. “Besides, she should get used to this kind of handling instead of trying to shout uselessly.”

If a bunny could look menacing, it would surely by close to the expression Willow’s face contorts into as she glares openly at the toad of a man. A voice behind her gives her pause before her or Rowan do something they might end up regretting.

“And here I thought we’d banned all the brutes when we kicked the Conans out last time.” Aethel says coolly, his face void of any of its usual charisma. “Our Jewel hardly ever raises her voice, Mister Everett.”

Willow peeks over her shoulder towards the Beowulf. “It hurts…” She mouths. Aethel glances past her to see Rowan and makes quick work grabbing Everett to pull him back while pushing Willow towards the wolf.

Xavier’s cheeks color just a little as he blinks before he clears his throat. “Oh, um, thank you.” He says, his gaze shifting to look at Killian briefly. “Maybe you could… recommend a good one for me?” He tries his best to sound casual as he asks, but then his mind wanders as he starts thinking of how perfect of an excuse it is for Killian to touch him more.

Rowan raises a brow at Everett's words, giving a small frown when he sees the pained face on Willow's face. He goes to say something, but Aethel is there.. and then Willow is falling towards him. He steps forward, arms out to catch her gently, a hand on her back and the other on her arm. They're close, close enough he can properly smell her. He offers her a smile and stands, helping her get her footing. He removes his hands on her. "Are you alright, Jewel?"

Killian glanced to Xavier, sipping his drink before giving the smallest smile. "Message me your address and I'll send you some." He looks back to the commotion but does see some of the merch is dancing and looking like they might enjoy it. Hmm. Could he handle that? Probably with Xavier and Aethel.. and Rowan.. Probably with Willow and the other Omegas.. but that would be it.

Willow wishes Rowan could have held her longer, but she nods to his question. “Yes, thank you.” She glances over her shoulder as Aethel drags the Everett fellow towards another part of the hall. The Beowulfs wouldn’t have the precedent to ban toad man like they had with the Conans, so a warning would be given for this incident.

“I’ll let you know if my waist feels the same later though.” A small smile as she looks up at Rowan. “Would you like to dance, Mister Kimb?”

Xavier chuckles with a small smirk, finding himself more and more intrigued by the assistant with each meeting. He moves towards Killian swiftly, careful not to run to him, though. However, he finds that the word ‘adorable’ is being repeated in his mind. “I almost thought you were fleeing from me.” He says when he reached Killian.

Killian looked up at him at the proclamation before he shook his head a little. He stepped closer, getting more situated now that they were touching. Gods, this was hard. If he didn't start, he'd chicken out. He was struggling just letting Xavier hold onto him.

Killian let himself be lead. His body didn't stop trembling as they danced. His eyes looked up to Xavier before he shook his head a little. "No. Just keep going." He was quiet for a moment before letting out a shaking breath. "I'm.. just glad everyone is required to wear scent patches. I would be in a corner somewhere... trying not to throw up my dinner." His jaw clenched lightly, eyes closing for a moment.

Xavier could probably feel it. All the tension in the Omega's body under his hand. He really did have a hard time with physical touch. Made one wander what actually happened to him.. besides what they talked about.. to make him have such an aversion.

Willow giggles with delight as Rowan twirls her, finding dancing with Rowan much more fun than any other time she’s danced. She beams up at him when she’s pulled back - even being called by the Beowulf’s name for her can’t damper the mood. “I’d love that!” She says excitedly, a little hop to her dance before she remembers to settle down a little. She watches his eyes as he scans the hall.

“I can tell you about the others if you’d like, Mister Kimb.” She says, trying to sound the part of a loyal Omega helping a guest. Although bunnies are the main product of the Beowulf’s, she’d grown up with most of the cats and foxes.
