[OOC] Fabula Ultima: JRPG Adventures

@clanjos I'll throw my ideas into the ring:

4 & 5. The smallest of the islands has become extremely eroded due to particularly violent storms in the area, causing huge chunks of it to fall below and the nation that calls it home is wondering if there is away to fix it or whether they should consider evacuating.
6. Old ruined shrines found throughout the islands, often depicting statues or murals of some kind of creature, believed to be a deity of whom no one remembers the name or purpose of.
7. Big flying colossal creature that doesn't look entirely organic or natural, sometimes seen floating around the islands at the edges of the eyes of the storm, mostly left to its own devices but becomes aggressive when an airship or other creature approaches. May or may not have some vague resemblance to the aforementioned forgotten deity.

Sorry about vanishing, had to help my sister move! Anyway, admitting that this is completely stolen from Skyward Sword, I'm thinking some cultures in the sky islands have a coming-of-age ceremony where folks get a flying mount to allow travel between islands. Imma call it Everwing Island.

Also, I think a good way to flesh out the above questions is to start with character creation- it'll usually spark ideas about nations and such. So, with that in mind, here are the listed character generation steps:

• 1. Create their identity, a short sentence that summarizes how they see themselves at the moment.
• 2. Choose their theme, a strong ideal, feeling, or emotion that dominates your character's actions. (Examples include Ambition, Mercy, Belonging, Duty, Hope, Justice, and Revenge)
• 3. Choose or create your character's origin, either selecting a place from the World Sheet or creating a new one
• 4. Choose two or three classes, and distribute your five starting levels among them. Note your FREE BENEFITS and SKILLS. That Nerdgrinder site has a page with all the classes, so see if any fit your concept!
• 5. Determine which ability array you will use (Jack of All Trades d8/d8/d8/d8, Average d10/d8/d8/d6, Specialist d10/d10/d6/d6) and assign them to your Might, Dexterity, Insight, and Willpower
• 6. Calculate starting HP, MP, and Initiative
• 7. Use a starting budget of 500 Zenit to purchase equipment, then add any leftovers to 2d6*10 to determine initial savings.

Need to think more on the fluff of the concept and the priority, but I'm thinking I'll go Arcanist/Fury/Wayfarer. Might and Willpower specialised, despite the silliness.

@Raineh Daze Oh boi our characters are probably going to get along well (or maybe they'll be too similiar and not like each other at all idk), because my guy is going to be a Chimerist/Fury, with the Average Spread (Dexterity d8, Insight d6, Might d10, Willpower d8). He also believes in the power of punching things. Well, clawing things, more like, 'cause he has like a claw gauntlet weapon (reskinned iron knuckle).

Also 'cause I really like the concept of the Island of Shipwrecked Children with animal-inspired tribes, he's going to be from one of those, if the GM is cool with that idea.

I really need more of a concept than just "hot knight lady" but we'll see how things turn out I guess.
