Reply to Triarian Collective

"You may have a more powerful navy, perhaps you think you've seen and experienced more than Sazkarjhia has...but you have known of us for so little. You know not that Sazkarjhia is an empire that has been wrought by outersystem invasion and civil war for millenia. Not even to stop there, but an empire born of a civil conflict so intense that its effects shattered the empire, and remained so until by force most of it was converted to Zarwaunism and reformed. We have seen, and felt, the worst that war can bring upon us. Man fighting man, brother fighting brother. Your memories are powerful, as I've seen. To know what you've witnessed and what you've gone through, but you say that you do all of this for the benevolence of everyone. A race so judgmental and intolerably prejudiced, it is unbelievable. Your collective is powerful. Your wisdom...your ideology...all very moving. Perhaps with better cognition than most of us. But it does not mean that we will stop for this instance. Regardless of what you or the AIF say. The Pact still remains, and as a member nation we hold to stand by it until it dissolves."

A pause, only ragged breathing can be heard over the comm system.

"Your navy may be more powerful than Sazkarjhia's. Your weapons, your powers, may be more powerful than ours. But we stand to our gods and we remain as powerful, tenacious and unstoppable warriors. An army that would leave most weak-kneed, and feeling helpless. But now, now we have acquired what could possibly be one of the most destructive weapons of war possibly conceived. You may or may not know of it, but if you attempt to attack any member of the Equiis Pact, we will use this weapon, and unleash the dogs of war!"

Message to AIF

"As much as we would like to seek an answer to this crisis and prevent bloodshed, we must stand prepared to enter a war if we have to. We help other Pact nations no matter the circumstance as we are contractually obligated. We will deploy a diplomat, but we cannot do much else. We will remain weapons-free until this issue is resolved."

Reply to the Sazkarjhit

At first the far off voices calm, and begin to speak in somewhat praise

The means may be illogical, but the end result is something that all must admire an..." There is a pause as the Sazkarjhit speaks again, and then the voices echos in anger, all the disgust returning to it "And do what with your precious weapon? Anything you do we will return a thousand times over, your skies burning as your sun dies and leaves you wondering why as your planet is consumed by the same flames that once gave you life! And when both our graves are dug, the pact slipping into one and the collective into another, perhaps we will have regret, but we cannot allow this to go on. Even our conscience is strained as we watch, the greater good not just denied but trod on, mutilated and paraded around as a rotting corpse, an ancient relic from a more civilized time, and perhaps the future. Grand Vessel Suar'kum was left agape as the transmission finished. He turned around, nearly tripping over his pure white robes as Barasmus Lano'dum faced him with a similar countenance.

"Grand decisions...Terrible...but grand..." Fakeem repeated. "Barasmus, I-"

"Grand Vessel, I understand. But you went overboard. You realize what this means, do you?" the soldier said sternly.

"I wanted to intimidate them, I wanted to try and get them to back down. I didn't want this to happen, I merely wanted to scare them into backing out. You know how badly I don't want war after Domu..."

"But we may not have a choice. You should've stopped right then and there; revealing to them that we were ready to use the Mark I was a purely awful idea. Now they're enraged and we could see another invasion Sazkar...but with even more severe consequences. But alas, there isn't much to do now. Until we can arrange a peace agreement or at least try to talk the Equestrians out of this, we need to keep the assault task force on the move. If the Equestrians launch an assault, the Collective will bite back, and we'll be caught in the fray. Nuclear weapons and gravity wells aside, we'd suffer substantial casualties."

"Perhaps I should send a message to the Equestrian princesses?" Fakeem asked, his ragged breathing intensifying, his palms shaking.

"It may be best. Picking a bone like this with a tour-de-force like the Triarian Collective can cause widespread devastation, and we need to stop it, fast." Lano'dum replied.

"Very well, I'll see what I can do. Open a communications channel with the higher Equestrian bureaucracy and the rest of the Pact Council. I'll see what I can do."

"Aye, Grand Vessel."

Message to the Equiis Pact
"You are still in the conflict! At least order all ships to take up defensive positions around your planets, and send diplomats to Lakfakalle! Just because you think they want you all dead does not mean that they will not accept a peaceful solution, if the Collective sends no diplomats then only then will we fight them!"

Message to the Triarians
"The Pact never tried to steal them, they just went there! And you killed them for it! For wanting to leave! You murdered your masters, your guides, for wanting to go somewhere else! If this is showing us who your people really are, then perhaps the Aetherii made a mistake! You will send diplomats to Lakfakalle and try to find a peaceful solution, or else you will see Federation bombardment ships in the skies of Triarius! You say you want to unite the universe, did it ever occour to you that perhaps the united universe wouldn't be flying a Triarian banner? What if it flew the flag of the Equiis Pact, or our own flag! What if it flies the Zonanese flag, or perhaps a flag not yet seen by our people? Would you still be pleased, or are you nothing more than hypocrites?"

Contact
An AIF scout has made contact with a species called the Loroi, who have displayed an extremely rare trait among all bi-gendered species. The female part has a 90% majority over the male part due to a chromosome imbalance that causes a drastically reduced male birthrate. The cite their history as the origin of that imbalance, stating that they had an extreme disadvantage when it came to physical strength and thus mutations eventually gave them a quicker maturation rate and more females to bear children. They also seem to have a Triarian-like psionic ability, which they can technologically amplify. Unlike other minor species, the Loroi have FTL capability that functions by catapulting the ship into another dimension, and is often described by them as sending the ship on an "Interdimensional ballistic trajectory".

Message to the AIF
"Our ships have always been in a defensive position, we never intended to attack the Triarians. Our forces are in defensive positions. We will only send diplomats if the Triarians due, and if they do not then its obvious they do not wish for a peaceful solution. Also if you do decide to join us, we should only fight a defensive war. If both sides go on the offensive it will bring doom and destruction like we haven't seen since the Great Draconian War."

Seeder Invasion Update
While the Seeders are still rapidly growing and invading the AIF's outer colonies, stomping any defenses by giving zero fucks and walking right through them, they were less organized. Sometimes reinforcements came where they were completely unneeded, and sometimes reinforcements never came when they were needed.

The planet that the Supremes had first 'ported near, that was crawling with Seeders, was obliterated by several of the Warships returning with a special payload, effectively destroying the Seeders' hivemind center, and crippling the inter-system communications. Lone Supreme warships can be spotted throughout several of the AIF planets that had become Seeder folding hubs and ship growing centers, Corvettes flying in formation to launch light-speed torpedoes that would blow a hole in the Seeder ships. While extremely resilient to energy or kinetic weapons, because the weakness isn't armor piercing, or magic. It was just concussive force. The torpedoes, solid titanium-gold alloy with a payload of the heaviest material known led the torpedoes to disintegrate against the hull of the Seeder ships, and crack the almost crystalline hull, which ejected all the inhabitants of the ship into the dead of space, due to a lack of doorways or airlocks of any kind.

And so when most of the hubs were reeling from sudden destructive attacks, the Supremes returned to the temporary base of operations within the Radiation Zone of the Galactic Center. Behind several Supreme ships came Seeder ships looking for revenge, but quickly found themselves incapacitated and frozen.

Equestrian Diplomacy
5 formations of 7 Corvettes each, each Corvette bigger than the shuttles, flanked the shuttles, with the Alpha Corvette formation moving in front of the shuttles, leading the way in a gentle arc around the Supreme Warship, slowly tightening the arc. The groups came to the warship directly to its broadside, a hangar bay opening up in the side of the massive hull, a bright rectangle of light against the strange green armored hull of the ship.

The other 4 formations peeled off as they neared the ship, and half a kilometer from the ship, they passed through a stasis shield that kept any and all radiation, small arms fire, weaker kinetic rounds, liquids or other unwanted natural or weak items. Inside, it was clean and regulated enough to walk about without any clothes on and feel comfortable.

So the leading Corvette team glided through the second stasis shield that separated hangar from space, landing in a cavernous space in a C pattern, with the opening of the C closest to the hangar opening, obviously for the Equestrian diplomats to land within the middle of the semicircle.

Equestrian Response
"Your response is too short to be deemed credible by our standards. There is no explanation given there; clarification is needed in order to express any action within our political, civil and military sectors. Time is too short to explain your things, we will begin a major announcement, right here, right now."

Galactic Announcement: AIF, Equestrian, Triarian Nations.
"In the recent news regarding all the current conflict between the Equestrian and the Triarian Empires, we are beginning to prepare our forces for this current incoming galactic conflict. And to whom will we side? The Triarians, of course. We have made a short talk previously regarding all the recent events that led to this standoff, and to say, we are stating our favor of the Triarii. In compliance with this, our guarding scout fleets have turned to the side near Equestrian territories, and we are now awaiting any order from the Collective for any action. I, however, would like to say godspeed to both the opposing sides whether this escalates into battle or stays as mindless bickering and arguing. Odometus, out."

Makudan
"There is no hope for your people. You believe in war that has no cause, other then a species being enraged."

"Supremes" Diplomacy
The Equestrian shuttles landed, and out came various members of Pact Races. The mood of the Equestrians however had seemed to have change significantly, they seemed solom and grave. As soon as the Supreme diplomats approached them they began to speak.
"Our people are on the verge of war. A nation known as the Triarian Collective has decided to declare war on us, or is preparing to anyways, merely because half the remaining amount of there former masters left them. They are known as the Aetherii, and the left to guide us towards something, but it has enraged the Triarians as they see the Aetherii as belonging to them. We require all of the assistance we can get, and yours would be much appreciated. We will understand if you will not join or support us, but if you would we be ever grateful."

Tower of the High Archmage, Equiis
Duck de Steelhorn looked around at his study, and had decided to focus on the Makudan threat. The boys at the Citadel were working on anti-Triarian stuff, he had been ordered to look into methods for fighting the Makudan, with there plans to support the Triarians. He was going over basic stuff to see if there way anything there when he remembered a important rule of magic, which is that every spell had a opposite version of it self. He then realized this applied to megaspells as well, such as the magic giving one. He realized that he could make a megaspell capable of stripping away magic from species, and rushed to work on this. He contacted all the Archmages he could, and told them to begin working. The Makudan would follow unwarranted agresssion and abuse there gift, then they shall have that gift removed.

Recent News...
Current Presidents: Ron (Domi) Kaliyu (Comu) Gordon (Bunta)
As each of the presidents stepped on board a round pad however about a foot above the capitol city (Currently residing in Bunn), the press was buzzling with anticipation. What will their reactions be to the recent galactic news? Who's side will they rally the people behind? What is their plan? Generals and ambassadors lined the back edge of the oval pad, and dozens of flashes from auto-recorders were dazing the group. The President Gordon flanked President Ron's left, while Kaliyu flanked his right. President Ron stepped onto the podium, and began his to speak.

"The state of our known universe is at hand. We find both sides to this occasion unusually disappointing. Disappointing to see no reason for this war, but perhaps to make a point to the availing cause. As it stands, the Zonanese Powers shall not partake in any sense of violence. We shall back the AIF, demanding a peaceful end to this situation. We will also send our diplomats and ambassadors to overlook peace talks, if there are any. And to prevent any instigation to ourselves, we are placing a large portion of our budget into civil defense. We will denounce any actions of war, and will continue to ensure the safety of our public and nation. Thank you"

Report log: 0-2. Fleet Commander Reyes II

It's glad to see the new colonies coming along. Ever since we got them, our economy's been able to skyrocket. We can practically sustain ourselves, again! What's even better is the induction of those new planetary states from the former colonies, which allows us to focus more on development in this new galaxy. We've been keeping our jumps at an all time minimum, as well, we're not taking too many chances. When we need supplies, we get them in bulk. A steady stream of supplies is a terrible idea, and we'll make sure it is for the time being. We're almost done with this galaxy, and once we finish here, we can expand to a couple more, then a handful, and soon enough, dozens. We just need to take our time, and keep our eyes open. We're still looking for the next Hach race, anyways.

Tests are proving positive on our gem projects. By grasping the energy of the gem, we can create a far more powerful beam of flames and precision. It's much more accurate and powerful than our latest glassing technology. More notes to be posted as time progresses, but we are presenting our works soon.

Message to the AIF
"The flag is irrelevant. It must abide by the greater good, that is the truth. The Equiis don't. Its a fisted attempt at expanding Equestrian might, putting all its supporters at risk of problems that their constitution simply does not cover. Besides that, it is also obvious the Equestrians are trying to force their faith through it, and indeed seem to succeed in some cases, they are spreading an illogical and dangerous Ideology coupled with a contradictory and also dangerous regime. And Human, if you lay waste to Triarius, we will destroy Sol its self. Do not make threats you cannot keep, or you might find it is your head that rolls!"

Lakfakalle

A single Triarian ship appears inside the planets atmosphere, before teleporting individuals down. An outsider crystal lands and an outsider forms around it, a human appears next to him, though it is a Lance Human who it appeared had been absorbed. An Aru'Shumi, his ceremonial Aru'Shumi rifle in hand,. On the far side of him appears a Saeva Simius, whispering something in his ear. A Selkath and an Umbrae Populus appear also, speaking to each other in Triarian Standard.
And then something else appeared, a massive alien standing 120 feet tall... The Corruptelae Insectum Empress herself, letting put an ear splitting roar before peering around at her surroundings.
Each diplomat had their own honour guard also. The Lance Human had Four Elite Trans-Humans, the Saeva Simius had four elite Synth Soldiers, the Selkath had four trans-selkath battlemages, the Aru'Shumi had four Synth Guardians, the Umbrae Populus had four synth infiltrators, the outsider had four mech soldiers and the Corruptelae Insectum Empress had her hive tyrant and three Praetorians, who were also massive behemoths. The Draconians were not represented due to their position in the Collective being lower than low, and the various non-sentient species were not represented for obvious reasons

Equestrian Diplomacy
The 5 Supreme diplomats, clad in red and green robes, walking in the usual V-formation, all stopped and appeared to recoil. All 5 of them were different: the leading Supreme was tall and lanky, almost 9 feet tall, the middle-right Supreme had the same proportions as a human, and the farthest to the right could be seen with 4 legs, similar to a spider's, and 4 glowing eyes within a much bigger robe. To the left was a 10-foot tall, wide, creature, slightly hunched around the neck area, and one could see large, reptilian, clawed feet. The leftmost wasn't robed, and was instead in green patterned armor, and was most definitely a Draconian, standing at their max height, around 12 feet tall.

After the Supremes recovered from the Equestrians' outburst, the green-clad Draconian guard growled, "We would like to remind you that you are now in our territory, our ship, under our fingers. You will speak with respect, and if you have a request, you will present it in a proper fashion. Already, I can see why the Triarians wish to go to war-"
The leading Supreme diplomat snapped out, "Enough!" at his guard, and the Draconian, sentence interrupted, shut his mouth and stood at attention.

Again, the leading Supreme spoke. "As my personal guard has said, you will never come here and immediately demand or ask for something with nothing offered in return, something substantial. While I am sure that you have many reasons, they are all reasons that have nothing to do with us. You may decide that force is an alternative; it isn't. Your magical power will not work here. I, myself, can smother it out whenever it is too close. You are not the only race with this unexplainable magic. Each of my kind are demigods, locked in place by a physical form, omnipresent around that form. And just like a god, we sometimes play god, and make sentient races that change the course of the universe. Even you have been affected greatly; as you can see, and hopefully figured out, my species created the Draconian species. My greatest achievement, really."

"Now, do you have anything to say?"

"Supremes" Diplomacy
"We were speaking respect, in our own way. It is most likely that you are not use to our tones yet, we speak a lot differently then most races." said the lead diplomat in a kind tone. "We are desperate for assistance, as I said before the Triarians have unwarranted aggression towards us. While we understand if you won't be willing to provide direct assistance, which we would prefer, support through technology would also be appreciated. We are unaware of what you would want at this time, so you will have to state what you would like in exchange for you assisting us."

Lakfakalle
A few Equiis Pact ships arrived in orbit. They landed and out came a diplomat from every nation of the pact, each backed by two guards, which were a mix of regular soldiers and synths. A small force of 4 also escorted the diplomats, which was made mainly of Sazkarjhit. The Equestrian diplomat was the first to step foward, but did not speak. He was a unicorn and appeared to be leading the small force of diplomats.

Upon the appearance of the Equiis pact, the four Synth Infiltrators began to sing something in their language... Although it was more akin to a martial chant, which would it almost perfectly with the drumbeat of an army marching to war "Da dhun anew o'r bede un wah ro synd. Ni fyud neb ein drau, filach dua ni a drau, taed o blyt ra duun, men ya kula e gosna ni" They chanted, and but fell silent as their diplomat raised his hand and shook his head as he glared at each Infiltrator in turn

A small SCNOSE task force dropped out of warp as it encroached the planet in front of them. The shoddily formed "Sazkarjhia Diplomatic Relations Fleet," composed of two Darbor-Class frigates, one Trikolo-Class destroyer, three Outreach-Class Diplomatic vessels and a single Marku-Class cruiser flagship, the Magnificent Gale, began to glide towards the station. They landed and striding out of the diplomatic vessels were three different Sazkarjhit diplomats, representing their part of the Equiis Pact. With them came a small army of O.G.V.S. guards, who surrounded them and had guns raised, wary of the Triarian Collective members in their midst.

The Empress looked to the OGVS, who looked like ants to her, with their weapons raised and reared backwards, screeching. Her Praetorians growled as they moved in front of her, glaring threateningly towards the OGVS. The Hive tyrant, stomped forwards towards them, coming to within an inch before kneeling down from his hundred foot tall pose and letting out an almighty roar towards them. The Triarian forces drew their weapons and prepared for combat, raising them and pointing them towards the OGVS

The aggressive return of the Praetorians did not alleviate the situation. Several clicks and mechanical whirs could be heard as the rifles powered up. Standard riflemen pointed towards the soldiers, while units carrying Personal Anti-Armor Weapon missile launchers and newly-developed Type 60 MagRifles, loaded with High-Explosive ammunition, aimed towards the Empress. O.G.V.S. heavies strode forward with earth-shattering vibrations, as they raised napalm-equipped flamethrowers and heavy automatic weapons.

The diplomats stood back, until a deep, stern voice called from the ships.

"All units, stand down!"

A commando in black-striped armor, most likely the unit commander, raised his hand and motioned it downwards and repeated the command. The group cleared from the center ship, and two figures strode out from the deck. One wore advanced armor with bronze, blue and white striping--the symbolic colors of the flag of Sazkarjhia--while the other wore a flowing white robe, brandishing a silver, five pointed spear. Neither wore helmets. The armored figure had yellow stripes under his eyes, which had formed large white pupils. The robed Sazkarjhit looked much younger, with three strips moving down from his forehead to his back. The soldier brandished a coilgun pistol in a holster on his side, while the priest-like man carried a heavy, steel five-pointed spear, identical to the one on his robe.

A couple OGVS units broke off from the group and followed them, while they approached the Empress, walking a deliberately slow pace. The spear banged loudly against the ground as the robed one use it like a walking stick. The Praetorians were nervous, and kept their guns pointed. The soldier whispered something in Sazka to the other, who simply nodded and continued to advance. Eventually, they both stopped. The robed Sazkarjhian cleared his throat, and began speaking.

"Certainly, while most think it is suicide, I have come to the meeting given the gravity of the situation. I apologize for the actions of my men; we've been quite nervous about the Collective in recent times, as you can imagine. I'm certain we are like insects to you, and you wish to take your figurative foot and crush us. This is something I want to fix. I am the Grand Vessel of Zarwaun, Fakeem Galsabisk Suar'kum, this soldier standing next to me is Supreme Commander of the Sazkarjhia People's Military, Commander Barasmus Lano'dum. I apologize if we appeared threatening to your men--you yourself didn't seem too ecstatic about it. But as I mentioned before, war is about to erupt and we cannot take any chances."

Soldiers began muttering in Sazka, possibly slandering the race standing before them. The commando piped up. "If you Collective even think about harming my men your precious empress will be blown apart."

Lano'dum turned to him. "Captain, that is enough." he shouted, turning back to the Empress.

There was a pause at the threat of the Commandos final line, followed by an uproar of laughter
"So slay the beast! There'll be another within a week!" The Saeva Simius diplomat said after he calmed. The Empress gazed towards the outsider, who looked up at her then to the Sazkarjhit and walked forwards
"She is scared of your 'boom sticks', she finds them threatening. Her Praetorians don't take kindly to that. You should be honoured, the Corruptelae Insectum Empress is usually very reclusive, staying within her Hive World. Few ever see this specimen" outsider said "Do you know what I find interesting Grand Vessal? It appears every time your race speaks, it starts off so well... Then something gets said right at the end and blackens it all. Your threats when we shared our thoughts with you, your Commando's... What do the humans call it... 'Gung Ho' attitude... They get said and ruin an otherwise valid position"
The Synth Infiltrators began their chant again "Da dhun anew o'r bede un wah ro synd. Ni fyud neb ein drau, filach dua ni a drau, taed o blyt ra duun, men ya kula e gosna ni" They chanted, repeating it over and over again in a slow procession. This time the diplomat did not raise his hand to stop them, clearly the hostilities made him less hospitable to them

Suar'kum tried to respond to the diplomat, but the chanting was so loud that not even the strongest shout was audible. Commander Lano'dum motioned to one of the flame-equipped heavies, who reloaded with a standard tank and raised his weapon in the air. He pulled the trigger, and a ferocious stream of white fire spewed out of its muzzle. He continued until the Collective members had quieted down. Vessel Suar'kum began to speak.

"I apologize, but if we are to talk peacefully we cannot have a bunch of...animals...chanting as loud as they can! As empires converging on the discussion of an impending confrontation, we need at least a minimal amount of civility. Not a bunch of your Synth shouting at the top of their lungs. The 3rd Escort Brigade's commander I cannot control..." he turned to the soldier, who had a silver sword drawn out, and was cleaning its gleaming blade meticulously with a silken cloth. "...Moguhl Bladesmen act mostly on their own accord, and me pressing onto them about everything they'll bring up the threatening of cultural identity. Under law, I can only order him to stop talking when he needs to, or Commander Lano'dum. I cannot affect the way he acts no matter how disciplined he is."

"And call upon us on our 'gung ho' and belligerent behavior cannot be justified by the likes of you. Our reports tell us that the Saeva Simius, or so you primates are otherwise called, are rather famous for being an aggressive and warlike species." Barasmus added. "We Sazkarjhit are certainly more reserved in that sense."

The Umbrae Populus diplomat glared at the Sazkarjhit, then turned his head towards the outsider, speaking again in their tongue. There was a short exchange between them, before the Umbrae Populus turned and strutted away regardless, his four Synth Infiltrators in tow, before they vanished in a flash. The Saeva Simius too turned, and with a growled parting sentence from the diplomat in his tongue, he and the Synth Soldiers turned and vanished. The Aru'Shumi shook his head, turning as he and his entourage also moved away and vanishing in yet another flash. The Corruptelae Insectum more aggressive than ever, and they too vanished a moment later, resulting in just the Selkath diplomat, the Outsider and the Lance human diplomat speaking among themselves. The Lance Human turned his head to the Sazkarjhit, then back, speaking in English "If their soldiers held their tongues... That's completely unreasonable! We're here to nego- Oh for... No, you will... No, I am not overstepping my authority, you need to... Right, yes... Not English" The Lance Human shot a glance to the Sazkarjhit before speaking to the other two in a different dialect, though it sounded of Earth Origin and was certainly not Latin.
