[IC] Deadpool: Silent Cries

Dr. Strange walked with Stark back to the lab to get it these mutations figured out. "We may need to call in Dr. Banner in on this as well."

"This place is looking like a bust." Taking a swing of his beer. "About to go see where else we can find some intel." Logan answers.

Tony was rubbing his face and said “I have a call out to him. His finishing up the job his working then he will come home…”

Deadpool nodded then said “hmm. I wanted to say sorry…for being…well…”

Logan gave Wade a side eye of suspicion but looked away and took his last swig before setting it on the counter before pulling out his wallet. "Don't worry about it. We didn't see it comin'." He says before the bartender gives the total for his tab and pays it with a tip before leaving the bar and started walking with his hand in his jacket pockets.

Wade nodded and followed him out, looking around. “We will have to be a little more careful…the smart guys aren’t sure how that rat was able to turn off my healing…”

"I heard." He goes looking about them here and there. "How long did they say it was off for?" Logan asks.

Wade thought back and said “I was healing again when I woke up, so about 24 hours?” He looked around and said “any updates while I was out?”

"Other than there are new mutant gangs running around, I've been trying to find'em and figure out how to they got their powers." Logan tells Wade. "Since you're up, maybe we can-" Logan then sniffs the air he realized he smelled something not normal. Sniffing the air again and looking in the direction of the scent. He started following it to an abandoned warehouse. "I think we just found one of our mutant gangs."

Wade nodded and pulled out his pistol and said “any rats just shoot them ahead of time. I’d rather not bleeding out again” he stopped and held up a hand. “You hear something?”

Cause around the corner a young man was looking around whistling softly. He sighed and muttered “it stops here…this has to be it…”

"I don't think there will be anymore wererats dumbass." He stops when Wade holds out a hand. That's when Logan notices a young man and looking to be by himself which confused him. "It's a kid." He whispers.

Wade nodded and said “high schooler…what is he doing way out here?”

This was Trevor Gray, mutant by birth. He had kept hearing a voice under ground and today he had to find the source. He walked around a corner and Wade said “that kid is going to get hurt. Come on we have to stop him”

Logan observed the kid and could see he was tracking something. Though amused that Deadpool was worried about the kid. He follows Deadpool as they followed the kid. "He's following something. I say we keep an eye on him and see where he goes."

Wade nodded and checked his ammo. They followed the kid into the warehouse and Trevor was trying to listen closely. He closed his eyes and sent out a sound wave out like a bat.

Wade watched and said “sound waves?”

"From the looks of what he's doing, he was born with those powers." Logan observed. "I wonder what he's listening for." He wonders. Logan watches as waits, seeing what the kid was looking for.

Trevor opened his eyes and looked around, having heard the two men behind him. “Pardon me? Whose there? I know there’s two of you there.” Wade stepped out and said “hey kid! We aren’t here to hurt ya. Can you tell us what you’re looking for?”

Trevor swallowed and said “voices. I’ve been hearing a voice for weeks…a female voice wanting to see the sun…I can’t take it anymore…I have to find them”

Logan stepped out into view seeing no sense in hiding anymore. Hearing what the kid, Trevor was doing here. He was impressed to be honest. "You're not in trouble Trevor. Not with us. You know what you're doing though is dangerous, right?"

Trevor sighed and nodded. “I know, in all the rumors I’ve heard from my sound waves. I know this is crazy but I have to find that girl…” Wade nodded and said “I get it. Well any clue where to go?”

Trevor pointed down. “Below us. I sensed stairs in the next room on the left. That’s when I picked up you guys”

Logan seemed to be pondering what the kid said as he then had an idea. "So you have an idea of the layout of what's underneath us." He wondered but he didn't continue that thought when he looked in the direction of the far half of the warehouse as he heard people coming into the warehouse and a old looking van.

"Shit.." Logan cursed not looking happy about their situation, especially with a mutant civilian.

Trevor looked around then said “this way” he pulled two men behind a wall and behind huge metal barrels and ducked down, holding his hands together. “Get close. I can hide us” he was making some kind of sphere of sound in his hands and said “I can block us from sight and sound for a few minutes” he pulled the sphere out till it surrounded all three of them just as the men were walking by them

Logan had followed and huddled close, watching Trevor as he did something with his hands. Seeing as how some men walked by and didn't see them was astonishing. "Think you can get us to the stairs you mentioned?" Logan asks.

"I thought we heard some punks in here!" One of the punks asks.
"I thought so too! Where they go?!" Another asks. They all start to spread out.

Trevor nodded and said softly “behind us three yards…there’s a metal door down. Might be locked” Wade nodded and said “kids pretty handy…”

Trevor looked around and said “if I hold onto you both we can move without being seen or heard…”
