In fact, allow me to do something even better. If you create a race of Dust Bunny creatures, then I will allow your character to play one, assuming they are not ridiculously powerful or in some other way unacceptable within the setting.

Eeeh!? You know for a fact it would take me much over a day to create a character, who knows how long it would take for a race/sub-race. If you really do wish for me to create them, I will though.

The orcs are generic orcs as well, but that doesn't mean they don't have personalities and motivations. The high elves are generic elves, but they don't all look the same. Just because the race is bland and generic does not mean the character must also be bland and generic. In fact, I'm sure a creative mind such as yours would be capable of creating an incredibly interesting and detailed character with many ideas and hooks for dramatic tension. In any case, if you're expanding your hoard, then that's a bit generic and boring. You'd just fly over a small village and take all their stuff, and keep raiding villages until the generic spiky-haired hero came along and stabbed you in the face repeatedly. In any case, I'm going to, as I've done with the other Bio's, suggest some more ideas to this basic and generic goal, add a little bit more flavor. So I suggest that your dragon is after a very specific artifact. This could be an artifact of great arcane power, or it could be an incredibly valuable gem. It could even be an item of great political value, depending on how much of an interest your dragon has in the going-ons of the bipedal races. In any case, this artifact is unique, and your dragon wishes to retrieve it. The problem is that you're not entirely sure where it is, and how to acquire it, which has led you to be forced to track it down.Alternatively, you could be tracking an incredibly dangerous "hero". Dragon slaying is a popular and heroic activity, as the general idea of dragons is that they'd big, scary and dangerous. This person could be a renowned dragon slayer, having killed many of your kin, perhaps even having faced you personally and left some form of scar to remember him by. However, it could also be a figure of political or arcana power who was involved in some form of tragic event involving the slaughter of your people, likely for material gain. This person would be hard to track down and harder to kill, and would force you to face or work with the other characters.

I wish for you to create a fun and unique character that you will enjoy playing. If this race helps you do that, create them. If not, don't. My main goal is always your enjoyment, and anything that helps towards that goal is a good thing. Time taken is not an issue, I am confident of my ability to write you into the story at any time.

the point of the bio being tbr is that i'm too lazy to write it out right then and to allow me to pull her reasoning out of the collective asses of the rp at any given time (in other words: she could be after an artifact, or an heirloom, but you won't know until i reveal it... also, expanding her hoarde would be different now a days so it'd probably be more of a spice and wolf type of char...)

I'll create them. Credit me. XD At least give me a starting sentence? Or something to branch off of? I'm half brain dead and it's night over here, so I'm tired.

A draconic trader, using international trade to expand it's horde? I like the idea. If you're going with that, I'll give you the stamp of approval for originality. And I need a motivation, like I said. I want a backstory because it allows me to create hooks. I can create things that interact with your character and further your own personal goals in contrast to those around you, as well as evoking dramatic tension and moral choices. However, if I know nothing about your character, then it's impossible for me to do much. A good backstory is effectively a GMing tool to link the story to the characters.

i'll give you a couple of hints: she has a hatred for people with pink hair (men specifically) and a love for sapphires :P use them well...
thewizardguy said
Think of the little black dust bunnies in Totoro. They're small and weak. How would a small and weak darkness creature survive in a world where everything is big, pointy and shoots fireballs?
thewizardguy said
Pink hair? Good god, she'd kill half of the anime population XDAlrighty then, I'll use them as best I can *sigh*However, eventually you're going to have to reveal your background, and it's going to have to be all the better for the wait, got it?

I have a question. And it's very important. How many more characters are needed until the IC is up?

*points at madoka* sic em girl *long story short : she be an ice cube now...* no promises, but i'll try somewhat...
FoxFireOfDawn said
BRAINWAVE! Ideas have been collected.
thewizardguy said
Actually, Madoka is theoretically the most powerful magical girl ever created, able to destroy entire planets in a matter of minutes, and your character is most definitely NOT planet-level.

you know i don't give a flying fuck and that it was an example :P
thewizardguy said
You know that I'm stubborn and precise enough to go into an example like that and analyze every detail to determine who would win in a fight assuming certain basic principals about the area and other circumstances under which the fight occurs.
