A earth board caught Ris before she could fall too far down into the gigantic pit she had created. She tasted blood in her mouth and she had bit into her lip hard enough that it started bleeding and her cheek was still bleeding

Charlie looked up dazed, pretty far up was a bright white hole in the black sky... Wait, yeah he'd dropped of the pit and landed badly on a rock spike.
A spike, he noticed, was sticking out of his chest. "Oh fuck this."
He broke off the spike and landed on his feet, then pushed the rock out of his devastated back. The wound started to grow back and the sounds of bones setting violently echo trough the pit.
Charlie looked up again, he had to get out of this pit quickly. he broke two more rock spikes from the jagged edges of the walls and used them to start climbing up.
"Are you coming down for me or do I have to get up there?!"

Ris laughed a little bit and she flicked her wrist and the wall he was climbing crumbled.

Charlie felt the wall started to crumble so he pulled himself up, put his feet on the spikes and jumped up.
He couldn't reach the top and a barrage of rocks was coming for him so decided it was time to use magic.
He turned himself into high powered magical explosion. Charlie detonated with a blast radius large enough for the shockwave to shake the earth Ris was standing on.
First the side of the edge collapsed under her feet, low enough for Charlie to land on.
Then came the heat wave and fire blast, followed by crystal shards.
Finally came Charlie in for a landing stomp.

Ris hugged her board to protect herself from the explosion

Charlie landed in a roll, then jumped up at the board. He grabbed onto it with both hands and swung up.
He let go and flew upwards behind Ris. He got right behind her, stuck between a rock and a massive Explosion.
A bright flash, followed by a deafening blast that left the audience a ringing in their ears, and a thick cloud of white smoke slowly clearing up...

Ris lay on the ground coughing and she pushed herself up. "Mother of Christ ow." She mumbled, blood was dripping into her left eye from a wound on her forehead

Charlie got up and stretched his regenerated limbs. With a crackling sound and the soft groan of flexing muscles he walked over to Ris.
With his balled fist in his palm, a devious smile and his eyes hidden by the skull on his head.

Two rock blades appear in Ris's hands.

Chalie snaps into a charge, fist raised and kicking up sand into Ris's eyes before trowing his punch.

Ris rolled back. Her eyes watered slightly. "Don't you know it's not nice to throw sand in someone's face?" She asked looking up at him with a slightly insane smile

Charlie matched her grin and thrashed, grabbing her leg and flinging her into the air like a ragdoll.
He got to the spot where she'd land and prepared to end the match. One fell nuke that spend all his spare energy. If this didn't knock her out... either way this was to be the end of it.

"Earth Magic: Rock Safe Shell" Ris muttered and she surrounded herself with a rock shell as she plummeted down towards Charlie

Charlie stood upright, arms wide as if to hug the meteorite. A bleached light flowed from his eyes and open mouth. He lit up with a blinding flash. Then after a few seconds of pure white a shock could be felt along with the thunderous roar of Charlies spell. The center of the arena was a crater, the force had torn away Ris's shell and she had plummeted on the ground. In his daze he couldn't see if she was standing or falling, how much of the blast was stopped by her shell. If she was awake. He'll find out later.
He dropped to the ground unconscious.

Ris struggled to her feet. She was bleeding from more places now.

Leon watched on, simply astounded by how Ris was still able to find the strength to stand. "I wonder just how many more surprises you have in store..." He thinks to himself. Inigo and Morgan were relieved to see that Ris was okay.

Meanwhile, Michael was chuckling. "Well, he always did like going out with a bang..." He remarks, grinning under his cowl.

Ris coughed up some blood but she was still standing

"Wow what an amazing battle!" One of them said and the other nodded. "That's right. And looks like the Dragonslayer Iris Mist has won the round!" The other one said and then they saw Ris collapse. "Well that ends our 1v1 matches. Our final event will start soon. The guild battle!" The first announcer said

Cilia was then allow to run out onto the field and she helped her sister up and brought her back in through the gate.

Of course, during the whole battle, Natsu had been up in the stands, cheering on his fellow Dragon Slayer.
