Actually, time for research. Fragarach is a sword from Irish Mythology. It's also known as 'the Answerer.' It was forged by the gods, and wielded by several Irish heroes. It's powers are that none can move or lie with the blade at their throat, and that the user can control the wind. It can also cut through any shield or wall, and dealt wounds that would never heal.

He's using Bazett's version from Fate Hollow Ataraxia. Everything Gil does is on Nasuverse mechanics. Most of the NPs he's used in here so far are canon ones from Nasuverse.

no. you're defending something blatantly overpowered and refusing to provide an adequate explanation. i think all things aside it's limitations deserve to be put onto the thread to prevent further explanations of why a character has something that can instantly kill almost anyone at the slightest hint of danger to his life

Looked up Gilgamesh. Neither in the anime nor in classic mythology does he have the ability to know his opponent's abilities. Unless, of course, he has the power to store abilities in Babylon's Gate as well?

My problems are beyond this fight, they are the fact that his powers have not been explained whatsoever, and don't seem to make any sense. The ones that are explained seem to be masively overpowered, but hey, I control Bob, I can't complain. Except for the fact that Bob doesn't ATTACK PEOPLE. And even Bob doesn't have the power to rewrite history, such as this dagger supposedly can do.

madam, i'm afraid this is something you can not simply "pass" on. you have been for the past hour (at least) been defending a character that by all rights should be dead along with stein for, and i'm of course paraphrasing, "reasons" so if you wish for any of your arguement to be valid at all then i'd suggest listing it's short comings right now before i unleash my character and his first action would be to devour gilgamesh's soul (which is far from his greatest technique) using one of his hexes

That's great for you. I'm not compromising as long as these powers are so badly explained. As such, I've been forced to take matters into my own hands and actually look up the weapon and it's uses within the setting.

Feel free to do so, stopping you falls upon the responsibility of our co gm. However, I'd advise against entering in the RP without co gm approval. It's uncouth and against the rules, but my words are wind just like yours.

First. BB never said he/she was a girl or a man. Second, stop saying blatantly overpowered. I think having a character who can devour someone's soul without permission is pretty over powered, so you're one to talk. Third, Gilgamesh isn't a person, he's a heroic spirit. So I don't think that would work anyway.

But, his character was accepted BB. I think when Dark Elsa get's back when need to appoint more co-Gm's so we can crack down on this type of argument.

So then, lets assume that Fragarch fails and hits the other heart and explodes, just like you intended. Would you be satisfied with that result, Wizard? I can confirm he was holding Fragarch out like this, right;

As he held up his left hand, blood dripped to the floor. In the palm of his hand he held his heart, previously discarded in the forest. And, impaled through it and into his palm, was the unblockable dagger that had been blocked, the weapon that could rewrite all of reality. Fragarach had finally failed to kill.

Seeing as how everyone seems incredibly reluctant to give me a proper description of how this power works, I've looked it up myself. It only activates when used against an opponent's most powerful attack. This only works if it is their most powerful attack, and is absolutely and completely useless against well-rounded mages such as most of the masters in the series, or, of course, Stein. Furthermore, the blade does not cut it's opponent in half, it rather causes a small hole more-less the size of a pebble, the minimal amount to gauge out the heart.
There, this has been solved. Now, based on the fact that I want this fight to be over, I will compromise and agree to both characters living, despite the fact that Fragrach should not have been used in this manner, and has been abused in these fights. In the future, I shall react appropriately, and be researching every item Gilgamesh pulls out. Now I need to go calm down.

with a female avatar one would assume bb's a girl (that's my logic anyway) and the fact that you were unsurprised a char with assorted soular magic that are listed as "dark" wouldn't have something to allow him to devour souls is beyond me... anyway (i'm not listing the short comings of which until BB lists gilgamesh's short comeings... all of them...)
