He can even duplicate spells, once he's seen them, and has a vast array of arcane knowledge. Furthermore, he has slightly above-human strength and speed, although it's nothing special.

Those are the Zodiac. I believe her pets came from constellations rather than the Zodiac, although that was probably the inspiration for them.

Well, as the Combaticons don't use Magic, the combaticons would probably beat Dragoon with relative ease. His speciality is his skill at absolutely destroying the enemy's magic, and using it against them.

Destruction. In one fell swoop, he can wipe out all life on a planet, even shatter the physical thing to pieces. He is easily the most powerful of the Slivers, but he can't be used subtelly. His least powerful attack involves creating a nuclear reaction within oxygen-cells.

If Eris really wanted to kidnap/kill Maria she would have done so. In fact, if Eris really wanted to, she could steal the Book of Peace with Ease. And she's never shown having any trouble with the book being open. Personally, I think she let's the people have the book of peace, and just likes playing games with them. Then there's the possibility that she might be in love with Sinbad, which is also a valid theory.
