So do all these godlike characters use magic? if not what would it be classified as?

Deus uses magic. Eris I don't know about. The Witches definitely use Magic.

Good points, all ^^ However, I like to theorize on the blank spots in movies, esspecially those I like.Personally, the biggest mystery to me is what exactly the Book of Peace is. Who made this thing? Where did it come from? How does it work? It's obviously quite powerful, as demonstrated by the big shining lights, but who has that kind of power, and doesn't like Eris? Personally, it seems to me that it's most likely that Eris is, in fact, the creator of the Book of Peace. She's the only entity of enough magical power we see that could create such a powerful relic, and it fits in with the idea that she's just playing games. She isn't seriously trying to spread chaos, she's just faffing about in the human world. I understand that she used the familiar mark to identify with younger children, but the idea remains the same. This plays out a lot like an old mythological tale, in which the Gods are bound by their promises. However, Eris appears to be nearly omnipotent, capable of doing anything she wishes. I think that the self-imposed limit is the most likely option here, based on what we see of her power and personality.

Blank spots.....if that's where you plan on heading then I'll bite.To assume that Eris is the only God/Goddess is almost a crime. If Eris were the only goddess then why did she wait so long to try and plunge the world into chaos? And whose to say that wasn't her fist attempt? Did she repeatedly set herself up to fail? Or perhaps since she is so powerful she tried winning and found it boring and started everything over. If she isn't the only god then have the others forsaken that world? Did they leave them with powerful relics out of carelessness or so that they could defend themselves? Maybe her Chaos Realm isn't even separate from the 'earth'. Eris treats the universe like a playground, if we really want to dig deep perhaps we should confront the idea that Eris created all of it, if you haven't already. She gives the people free will and sets situations up over and over again just to see what would happen. Which brings us back to the other gods, did they trap Eris in her own mind or maybe a prison designed to make her happy. If there are no other gods then we should begin to wonder that perhaps Eris is even Eris. She tells Sinbad that she is and comments how the temples depict her doesn't do her justice. The priests could've gotten it wrong but then again if they actually got it right then who or what is Eris? Is she or it a greater evil using Eris's name or maybe something else entirely.

Take half an hour to write out an argument and suddenly I've missed so much. Serves me right for not checking up, I got so focused I couldn't think or do anything else. I'm sorry guys, I got wrapped up in my ideas and consumed by my own thoughts.
