Layout the defenses first, please. Looking back I realize that I had appended one of my recent posts '0/4 Repairing Tunnels' or something of the like. So somebody else has to post before Shaige could even get his army outside of the dungeon, find Ifrit, and then go forward with the attack.

So, I is confused, if you're building a building, you can't stop and then resume later? Does the building collapse while you're not looking? :P

I think the thing is, without proper tunnels, everyone is effectively trapped, until the tunnels are fixed.

Also, I'm working on a post. Or, trying to, I should say.

Shaige's dungeon is underground. That's great and all, except for the fact that the entrance collapsed and his minions were frantically trying to dig their way out before they ran out of air and suffocated. But now, the four posts have passed so the tunnel is fixed and we can get this started.

Trapezoid, should I wait for you to do that post or just have Shaige find Ifrit so that we can fast forward to when they get to the Klug village? Normally I'd take a post or two to have that William guy escape (poor fellow is destined to have a run in with the Tormenter) and have some dialogue between Shaige and Ifrit, but we have two people waiting on us so we should probably hurry this along and begin the invasion ASAP.

If you want to have William escape, then it would be best if you just post ASAP, then I can leave him alone. I feel it would be best if we got on with it, and I'm making very little progress on my post, so I suggest you just find me and we can fast forward.

I got all the time in the world, don't rush on my account. If you want William to have Tea With Cthulu beforehand, I don't mind.

Didn't want to make things boring, so instead of two wooden walls, you get a simple "caution-spikey death" area and a temple fortress.

So why are the Klug in a state of high alert, anyways? I suppose it'd be enough to just say that they felt like something was about to happen, I only ask out of curiosity because I don't think you mentioned why.

So, you want me to post with my RB now? Or should I wait for the battle to actually start?

Your character, so your choice for how you want to do an introduction.

Intros are so much better with Storm Earth and Fire being thrown liberally about. But, lack of CS makes it have to set on a solid character design.

You can still write a CS to get your ideas straight, but if you don't post it here, we rely on your writing and your compendium entries to get your ideas across.

Well, ok. Less CS, more ramble.

Called Emily, obviously. I like Emily. She would be made for the purpose of magical mastery, fusing support, and offence into a single girl, and removing the logistics of moving dozens of magi by making them meshed into one girl. Because Females have a higher tolerance for Magical overloading, while Males have stronger force behind magic. She'd be very angry that a Dungeon Keeper snatched her out of her village, and put her mind and soul into a construction and would eventually set his dungeon on fire while he was being invaded. She has a very high affinity for fire, dreams about it all the time, and has a lot of her magic based around it, but can also use Storms and Earth as well. Usually appears uncaring to the confilicts of Elysium, and has no worldy attachments, her village was destroyed by the war of Keepers. However, she would involve herself if a Keeper or his armyinvades where she is staying. She usually gets to stay in where she is staying by setting on fire anyone who would try to stop her. Her preferred attack would be to condense fire magic into a small thin stream and then blow someone's head off with it. But she can use larger scale fire and even use her fire to make Storm fronts with Cumulonimbus clouds. Earth would be more serene, and be used for healing, but she could only use it when calm of mind, which wouldn't happen very often. Could possess a short range teleport that is anything but subtle. Chars the ground around her with a massive fire pillar, and then a secondary fire pillar would herald her instantaneous arrival..

"I suppose it'd be enough to just say that they felt like something was about to happen, I only ask out of curiosity because I don't think you mentioned why."

Due to the tribes high animosity with each other, they would naturally spy and raid on each other. After having witnessed what happened to the Mutig... They would naturally fear the same was going to happen to them. And if none of their scouts made it back, they'd fear the same thing. This was vaguely hinted at when the champion mentioned the Mutig.

A good and unique backstory. There is one inconsistency with the lore, namely that you mentioned Emily's village to be destroyed in a war of Keepers.
As explained by the OP, the Keepers are not native to Elysium. They arrived from other dimensions maybe a few months ago in IC time, and there have yet to be any large scale wars between Keepers, or even Keepers and humans. Thus far there have just been a few small skirmishes, with Clotho causing some mayhem in Virens and Calvartem pillaging the hinterlands of Paterdomus.

Sorry, about the lore inconsistency, and I didn't mean any war in particular, just the conflict between them. Not saying they where destroyed by a battle, might have been slowly enslaved or converted. I was leaving it vague because I didn't really have a good idea for what had happened to them.

Alright, Villager post is up. Let's get some carnage going on!

Klug Scouts: ... We think there was a bit too much carnage.

Narrator: Shut up, no one cares about dead people.

Undead: Hey...

Hmm... So I mentioned a plague thing in my initial post, would it be cool for me to say that the source was one of Ripper's meteors and get my hands on it when the Emperor of Peace cures the plague?

Sure. You could say that the Ripper asked for power from the humans, got rejected, and then infected them with a magical taint out of spite.

Edit: Well, this is the first time I've ever experienced a double post on the Internet. I thought I was immune.
