The fight is really awesomely special, so you posting there first is good. But, the last one kinda felt lacking, compared to the others.

Roleplaying with oneself is always inferior, but I think I have a decent plot for my "Ripper Meteor Plague" plot.

You've been assumed to have abandoned us. I'm glad to see that this is not the case.

Hullo.

~~

So, if I want to skip directly to a more powerful construct/minion, can I go ahead and wait the amount of turns, say, 34 or whatever, to get a high powered unit?

I didn't abandon you guys, writers block hit me hard for this and I decided to join a couple other RPs to work it off. Can't tell if it has worked or not.

Hello Gecko. I already know Kaben from another sight.

Yep, he has many sights with his eyes, I was the leaning tower of pizza.

Also, if uninterrupted, Emily might hit Ifrit with Empyrean: The Fire at the Apex of Heaven that Burns Forever. It's creation can't be made spontaneously on the battle field like most fires, but instead needs hours of preparation, with the 27 Runes of Fire melded into a physical body, rather than the metaphysical existence of runic crafting. Then, obviously unless the battle is long and drawn out or some sort of seige, Empyrean isn't going to be used immediately, so is stored within the casters body until a time when they needed it. Drawing out the Fire drains most of their magical stamina, and a fair bit of physical strength as well.

Cyclone, there's no more mud to hinder your forces.

Well, I must have misread it. I thought that they only removed the water inside the village to set it on fire, and that outside was still practically a swamp.

I'll go edit something later.

We've never considered such a thing before. On one hand, Rogue Beings operate quite differently to Keepers, in the fact that Keepers wield the innate power to control a Dungeon and create minions while Rogue Beings have no such power. On the other hand, there's no specific rule against it. It would just be very difficult to bring about the required shift.

Additionally, in my opinion, Emily as a Rogue Being would be stretched to have the power to create a small sun, teleport, summon and command an entire storm, open up a massive pit in the earth and make enough explosive force to blast apart solid stone all in one battle. She's only a Rogue Being. Such feats would be draining even on a Keeper, even if they had the physical strength of a water balloon. By throwing around that much energy, Emily's bound to be feeling very drained.

42nd Gecko, if the Klug champion plays his cards right I'm willing to let him kill Fangir. It might be interested to have Shaige contend with the loss of the sole person who could control the Mutig, forcing him to interact with the tribesmen directly. Or I could just take the easy way out and say that the guy had a kid, who would then become archdruid and fulfill the exact same purposes. Options, options...

BBeast, I've been wondering what would happen if Shaige encountered Calvartem. The two Keepers are very similar, but I can see one key difference driving them apart. Shaige is a necromancer because he divines power from death and keeps around living humans, for use as sacrifices, workers, and such. Ironically, Calvartem isn't really a necromancer, at least linguistically speaking. He's more of a necrouge, somebody who wields power over death. He kills every human he encounters so that he could raise them as undead. That small difference could cause a pretty big schism, at least if they ever try to work together.

In any case, being so close to each other, I think it's getting to be about time that Calvartem and Shaige learn of one another's existence. Perhaps some of Shaige's minions chase a warband of Klug deserters out of the forest and into Calvartem's lands?

That's fair. Also, the teleporting did throw her off balance, the summoning of the storm was natural, not magical - the heat that created the Storm Clouds was, but the summoning of the actual storm wasn't - It wasn't half as powerful as a normal storm, which can clock from a dozen impacts, to up to fifty, while the Encouraged Storm could only make one. The 'massive pit' wasn't a massive pit, it was a mountain moving to encompass something - in this case Ifrit - The mountian itself wasn't made into a 'massive pit' but rather it's structure bent around Ifrit before drawing him in.The explosive force was via Runecrafting. Very efficient for it's power, but the pay off is the fact they need to be individually drawn. Emily could only summon so much power because she had the ability to draw multiple runes simultaneously, and Ifrit was a considerable distance away when she started, as well as on a different elevation. Had it been on the ground, she wouldn't have finished the small runes before the creature reached her. And a mountain isn't solid stone, like a slab of marble. It has cracks, crevices and small caves with in it.

However, I do agree she has expended most of her magical energy blowing the holy crap out of Ifrit, and won't be able to do much more than stand. I the flow led me to her being more exhausted than I previously thought, but it still came out well, or so I thought.

Well, I didn't expect Emily to allow herself to literally be thrown into hell without a fight. But far be it from to stop her from eating snow cones with ice devils.

Meh, she could have mustered the adrenaline to run. Or tried groveling. But anywaysl, being stuck in Kokytos puts you in an interesting narrative position. Escaping and surviving would both be difficult, though with help from some demons this might be an opportunity to turn your rogue being into a Keeper.
