Well, I see that as an indication that it won't ever get a 2nd season.
Most of the time, things that are about 24 episodes, that have one OP and ED, don't normally have sequels.
Unless they remake from start and make sequels from there. Remake/Reboot.
Just a trend I've seen.

Well technically it has two seasons already since each season is like 12 episodes. The four or five episode OVA feels like a good start to a third season that never happens. Jormungand technically has two seasons, but also has two different OPs. However, that likely wont' be getting another season anytime soon lol.

I got the jist of what you were saying and yeah usually that is right. Whenever there is just one OP in 20 or more episode season then it does feel like they either don't want another season or said "We're not going to make enough money off of this so just make one OP and ED."

Edit: The CS is good for the promoter.

Yeah I feel like added varanium weapons for her isn't a great expense for her unless she uses guns. Melee weapons can be replaced by her fists lol.

Well as a Blood Hound she should fit better as a hunter so using a weapon isn't out of the question. Its just that the weapons that would fit her isn't exactly her style. Plus she is far more up and close type of person instead of a distance shooter. Even a varanium mace wouldn't get much use when I think about it lol. She would just end up punching or kicking the target.

A blood hound, if we are discussing abilities. Would be known primarily for their amazing tracking ability. So weapons in general, though appearent wouldn't be the best of their skills. They were designed to track and pin if i remember correctly. So a weapon that possibly reflects this could be a net with spikes in it that encloses when you pull on a string. Gladiators use to use such a tactic then finish the target off with a strike from a spear. haha

As for posting, yah, gargoyle was busy with school stuff so hopefully they post today =D

I was thinking she would be a tracker who instead of using weapons just uses her own power and aggressions to pursue and push the enemy into a killzone for the promoter.

That could work, shot-gun style gun blade to the face? and if not enough, slice it up some more? Or if it is further away, customize the AUG and snipe.

Yep that could work pretty well and it would make them really dangerous when they are together. Ideally the promoter shouldn't have to be forced into close combat with a Gastrea. They would want to be prepared and a good area with their weapon and shoot the crap out of the monster. Plus with Akane's ability she should be able to sniff out Gastrea without much trouble.

Well, this promoter (although hiding it) is a mechanical soldier, he can take on even Stage IV Gastrea, head on. So his fine with being up close, and he has a gunblade, in the cases of close combat, being able to swap it during mid range to a shotgun mode, and assemble his AUG for distance, while adjusting it if they come back into mid. xD
