Just going to say this: You really do not understand me. I can say that, because even if you had a full portfolio on me, interviewed every single person I have ever talked too, you wouldn't come close...

I know I'm late to the party, but I just wanted to put in my two cents on this entire thing:

Stuffin, Don't throw wood at a burned out fire. You don't achieve anything: Especially when a GM has already threw a bucket over it.

Yeah, I'm just annoyed that I missed the whole thing. It's like walking into someone's living room the day after a birthday party; there's used plastic plates with napkins on them, discarded party hats, red solo cups all over the place, and here I am going "Man, why is it coconut cake?"

Name: Graf von Helldorf
Age: 32
Sex: Male
Appearance:

History Type: European Mercenary
Biography:
Graf was born and raised in the hellhole that is the European continent. Raised in what was formerly the Black Forest in Germany, Graf’s childhood was one of blasted earth and raining ash. The forest had been turned into a sea of skeletal pillars by atomic fire, and then leveled by the tread of thousands of tanks. Graf’s family was in the armored division, and he spent more time inside tanks than outside during his childhood. His was a childhood surrounded by death and constant fear. It was not a healthy environment, there was little love, and little light.
He learned how to drive the standard battle tank at age eight, and from then on became adept at every position one could fill inside an armored vehicle. However, ever since his family was saved from a massive assault by a single Heavy Mech, his dream was always to become a Mech pilot himself. The heroes of the field, those brave knights who wreathed themselves in glory on the battlefield. However, his parents and family heavily encouraged him against such a career, as they knew well the ridiculously high fatality rate of Mech pilots in the wide open trench warfare of central Europe.
Still though, Graf held onto his desire, and once he came of age (17), he joined up with the Mechanisierte Rüstung, the Mechanized Armor. Because of his vast experience in heavy vehicle tactics and tank warfare, he was trained in the use of a Heavy Mech, and took to it like a fish to water. The Mech he recieved then is the same he uses to this day, he has never ejected from it during battle. After fighting to live and living to fight for almost 15 years, he had grown weary though. He signed up with a detachment traveling to the Thirteen Colonies and the American Bunkers in order to start his life over.
He attempted to live off of his skills as a mechanic, but quickly realized the hard way that his true trade, death, was of much higher value in his new home.
Graf is a taciturn and solemn man. He does not abhor violence, as it is his trade, but he still dislikes when it is used needlessly. Still though, he has become almost totally numb to death. While in battle, his mindset becomes almost as mechanical as the construct he pilots. However, he has a deep and abiding love for peace and quite as well. Most days he can be found checking over his Mech LandKreuzer, and chatting with his comrades.

Career Path: Pilot:

Mech:
Designation: LandKreuzer MK.II “Koloss“
Size: Small
Occupants: One
General Description: The LandKreuzer MK.II is just about the largest a Mech can be within the “Small” designation. A European design, it was essentially designed to be a walking super-tank. Standing at 20 meters tall, it is constructed standard with some of the heaviest armor available. It is specifically designed to draw attention and fire from the enemy, so as to protect the infantry and lighter tanks behind it. “Koloss“, Graf’s particular Mech, follows this philosphy to a “T“. Eschewing camoflauge, it is decked out with garish, almost silly flames on a stark black backdrop. Typically equipped with either a power fist or laser cannon, .50 calibre minigun is stock standard. Koloss has the Power Fist installed because of its assault designation. It can be used to destroy blockages, obstructions and other things that could possibly halt its movement.
Equipment:

Left Arm: .50 Calibre Minigun

Right Arm: Power Fist

Legs: Sprint Gyro

Torso: Heavy Armor, Pilot Chamber, Emergency Life Support System, Reinforced Ammo Feed, Floodlights.

Top: Standard Scanning Package, Infrared Scanning Package.

Misc: Rally Foghorn.

Personal Inventory:

Weapons: Sharpened Entrenching Spade/Combat axe, Standard Issue Council Pistol.

Armor: Mechanical Jumpsuit, Light Armor

Medicine and Tech: Technician’s Kit, Radio, Frag Grenade, Flashbang.

Misc: Dog-Tags, Watch, Flashlight.

@Alpha: Your sheet is accepted.

@RichterGotz: Your sheet is also accepted, though, eight year old tank driver, and thousands of tanks... Europe still has a lot of rampaging conflicts involving several armoured vehicles but keep in mind that it's more in the numbers of a few hundred for the entire continent. The loss of even a dozen can hurt a faction badly, the same goes for the Thirteen Colonies faction, though they have less overall armoured vehicles.

IC post up, that being said, here's a quick tip on how to make it easy for me to understand what you're doing, which in turn makes sure my responses to you are one hundred percent accurate, one hundred percent of the time.

Be clear on what you're doing. If you're taking cover, do that. If you're opening fire, do that, and so on. Also, realize that the more actions you try to do in one post, the more "rushed" your character will be in doing those actions, because remember, time doesn't stand still for your character. Every character does what they're doing simultaneously. So if you're trying to stack, say, rolling to cover, setting up, aiming, firing, and getting back behind cover all in the same post that the sniper who prepositioned themselves is opening fire on you, realize that in the time it takes for you to do five actions, he's only doing one. And he will probably kill you.

As for the opposing factions, their tactics differ based on their experience and intelligence (and mental stability), and otherwise their level of power will generally remain around yours unless it's some kind of boss fight encounter or otherwise, in which case I'll generally warn you before you try to bullrush the Juggernaut that he is, in fact, the Juggernaut, bitch.

"What! Brovo! What was all that talk about Gabriel and Sodom and shit?!"

A teaser. Mainly for your benefit, to hint as to what the future holds. Have fun wracking your mind over it and the horrible implications.

EDIT

Alpha, Richter, you can select South East or South West. Central is full.

EDIT #2

Oh, and if you need a general theme for how it feels to be there right now... This fits perfectly.

I'm assuming the fog you're talking about is the noxious death fog. Decided it fit Chris' M.O to jump straight in, I promise I'll slow down a little in future. (If he survives.)

I suppose this is the part where I totally don't mention that Tempest and I are doing a quick collaborative post.

And that Morai reveals that some of the enemy wield motherfucking chainswords.

And you walked into that fog.

If I were you, I'd take some advice from Monty Python about what to do here.

Also, FAIR WARNING:

Georgia will use a lot of different terms that may not be clear to people. This is part of her character. If you do not quite understand, even with the context, don't be afraid to ask IC-wise or OOC. : P
