One day I will jump off the slippery slope of the deep end, and into the bosom know as spam.

Perhaps that was just his way of coping. I try to joke about mine, because it makes me feel better about having the problem in the first place. It's hard to deal with it when people bully me for it. I also feel better when I talk about it in general, especially if someone else knows what I'm going through either by experience, association, or study.

How do you expect people to forget about your problem if you make a conscious effort to remind them, just to make yourself feel better about it?

I never said I was expecting people to forget about it once said. I'm not constantly reminding people, it just comes up occasionally. This was all started by a bad joke and a troll. Otherwise, it never would have been mentioned in the first place on this site. Like I said, I JOKE about it every now and then to make myself feel better. Maybe my jokes are lame. That's okay. It wouldn't have come up in this thread, but someone decided to be immature about it and troll this thread in addition to the first one. Something tells me that these people are never going to let it go as long as I use this site. I unsubscribed from the first thread along with two others that I was watching that these people just happened to be in so that I wouldn't see the nasty things they were writing about me. Looks like ignoring it doesn't really get rid of the problem.

Begging for sympathy isn't exactly a positive approach. It isn't just wanting attention though but I'll spare you the details. Trust me, it isn't positive that he is using it as a cope method. But you aren't joking about it in here. You are bringing it up when advised to ignore harassment online and it looks like you are trying to use it to make people feel sorry for you (especially your harassers). It feels forced and unnecessary.

Don't worry once you start drinking the water, you will forget, and give into spam, and become part of spam, for which we will harvest the bountiful flesh off your body, and then you shall truly understand spam, and only then will you understand spam.
