By the time everyone was flowing into the classroom, Maryn was already at her seat. She was asleep, like any other day, with her head resting atop her crossed arms on the desk at the back of the classroom.

Amani and Shakespeare headed over to class, when they saw the sleeping girl they shrugged and went to their seats. Amani didn't allow anyone to sit in Shakespeare's place seeing as he was sensitive about those things.

A timer appeared counting down from 30 as the game raged on waiting for the tie breaking score. Then with 5 seconds left the ball bounced off the left paddle and whizzed past the right paddle, there after the names of those who voted for the winning side came on screen as the bell rang for class. "Congratulations to the winners, and for those of you who don't know how the free passes work you can find out at the cafeteria." He turned to his class. "Because to this day I have not won a single match." Hector let out a chuckle as he typed on the board. "But in all seriousness the free tickets are linked with you student ID and will stay in your account until used." Once he finished explaining the title for the class appeared in bold letters: Refreshment Cycle. "This year as you may have noticed I did not offer separate year classes. I am taking year twelve to go over with all students the basics of historical magic... any objections? Good." Hector brushed quickly over his own question and proceeded with his introduction. "You are all lucky to have me as you Professor because I will not issue homework for the first week, and you can all call me Hector. Now before we get started any questions?"

Seated on the front, Seraph didn't asked. What he was truly hoping is that there would be no introductions to the entire class.

Watching the teacher Kai sighed. "I just hope we just talk about something related to a water kingdom or Atlantis." he thought. Looking around the room Kai could defiantly tell the people in the room weren't exactly normal. But who was he to care he had stunning Azure blue eyes that made it feel like he could see through you and blue wavy hair that looked natural on him.

Scarlet was about to raise her hand,but what she had to say was no else's business. She deiced to wait and fiddled with her ice powers

"Where exactly are we starting with this year?" It was the only question Alicia had, and probably something everything was thinking.

Awaiting the teachers answer Kai bit back his hope.

Suddenly, the door to the classroom opens and a young man steps in, a charming smile on his face. "Sorry that I'm late. These halls were surprisingly hard to navigate." He explains as he moves to take a seat.

Violet blinked, stumbling into the other late boy. "Sorry!"

"Huh?" Inigo turns around to see who's speaking, and the smile returns to his face. "Why, hello there! Looks like we're late together. The name's Inigo. What's yours?" He asks.

Violet smiles. "I'm Violet," she says.

"Violet..what a lovely name for a lovely lady!" Inigo compliments, being his cheery self.

Violets' eyes widen, her face turning sunset red. "um...thank you..." she says.

Seraph didn't knew what to expect from his classmates. All of them seemed so different in the positive. On the negative, they were all the same. All of them with their own hatred and despair for something or someone. The only thing he settled on his mind was: I just want my own space. I don't care if it's lonely... I like this way.

Violet bit her lip, gently, seeming quite nervous now. No one had ever complimented her, ever. She didn't really know how to handle that.

"No need to thank me. I'm only expressing how I feel." Inigo says, winking at her.

"That is an excellent question." Hector said. "We are going to go over a few basics of Magical-" Hector paused as two more students came in late and one explained why. "Everybody gets on excused late day to for the first few days, it's okay." He then continued to explain that they would cover three main points after a brief look at the basics of Magic. They would then move to look at important figures, myths of land, air and sea, and finally the modern use and applications for magic. He looked at his watch a saw they still had a few minutes."with they few minutes we have left I would like all of you to submit one famous magical figure real or fake, one of your favorite mythical places and how you want to use your abilities in the future. I will write mine on the board." He then smiled at the class then began typing.

After a few minutes the board read these three things:

- Rivendell
- When I was in shcool I wanted
be a scientist of Magical Properties

Alicia thought for a second, and then put up "Medusa" and "Asgard", but she hesitated before adding her final answers. Finally, she adds "I want to be able to fully control me powers" She looked around the class at everyone else. It wasn't uncommon for her to be the first one to answer in Hector's class.

Seraph never thought on these topics. Now, no more he was a normal human. He thought hard on this, however he never had nay connection to the magical world.
