Alex felt his heart break when she pulled away. "Nyx, I didn't... I just don't want to see you..." but it was already too late, she was gone. He tried to get up and follow her again, but found he didn't have the will to stand. "Nyx," he whisoered, as if saying her name would bring her back. "You hate me after all, don't you?" Slumping back against the wall, he held his hand in front of his face. "Starfire..." he said, and a bluish white flame spread from his fingers, iluminating the tears rolling down his face. "Is this my punishment then? To get what I want most and lose it because of my own ineptitude? I guess I can't say I don't deserve it."

Caroline just looked at the two of them, the walked back into her room, having been forgotten. "This place is wierd..." she muttered.

Nessie had to pull away, realizing that this was Caroline's dorm room to. She blushed, perhaps the most forward thing she had ever done, and she'd done it in front of an audience. "Um...." She fell into laughter, and leaned into James.

James started laughing, "Oh my goodness..." James breathed in a long breath, "That was amazing..." James held Nessie close and kissed her forehead, "You are amazing."

Nessie smiled, "p-p-perhaps we s-should f-find outside n-now" she said, feeling awkward now she had remember Caroline, "c-caroline p-probably thinks we are w-w-weird" she wriggled away to stand, but too his hand in hers

Austin decided to speak up," oh, don't worry, she's not the only person that thinks you both as weird." With that he sat down on the couch, leaning back in the chair. Guess they didn't see him earlier. He watched them both, waiting for a reaction from either of them.

Nessie practically jumped, and blushed, looking down, wishing she was anywhere else but right there then. She risked a glance at the boy, not having met him before, then looked back down. "I, um...W-w-w-w-w-who a-are y-y-you?" She had been about to say Sorry, but a strange boy she didn't know in her dorm room, Nessie decided that just wasn't safe, and shifted slightly to watch him. She knew he had to be one of the students, but that didn't mean anything, did it?

Still, he didn't seem threatening.

Mason had sat and watched after opening the training room door. It was surprising.... to say the least. After he had headed back to his dorm, and read his book. Until now, that was. Now Mason was wandering the halls of the North wing, searching for something to do.

He said," Austin. I have a room in this dorm." He studied her, keeping his arms crossed over his chest. She won't last very long. He didn't really care, either way. He wasn't about to offer anyone training, not that he would be particularly helpful.

Nessie frowned, as far as she had been aware, it was just her and Caroline in the dorm room. "Um. o-o-okay t-then. N-n-n-n-nessie" She said, in a curtly as tone as she could manage. Another student it seemed she wasn't going to get along with. Well, so what? She had James, and Mason, and Caroline, she didn't need anyone else.

But she still wished she could figure out why she kept on messing up with Nyx. She sighed, and looked away from the boy she was evidently sharing a room with, to look at James, "N-n-now I r-r-really think w-we s-should leave"

James nodded and flashed her a smile, "Alright...then...where are we headed?" James looked almost like he was glowing inside, "Are we going for that door? or are we finding the roof?" James looked to the Austin guy, "Hope you don't mind if i steal my..." James hesitated, yeah they had kissed, but did that mean they were together? Honestly he had no clue. "Girl...Friend." James looked to her with a sort of help me look on his face.

Nessie smiled, and took James hand, tugging on it to get him to move. "L-l-let's g-go. R-roof" she said, "you s-s-said we'd f-f-fly" she said eagerly, "g-g-goodbye A-Austin"

James couldn't help himself from smiling around her, "I can't wait to show you the sky." James's eyes had finally gained their Electric blue color back and now he was starting to look like a normal teenager instead of a survivor from the streets, "Come on ill propell us fast with the air...then we can get there way faster." James took her hand tight and smiled at Hope before speed dashing off towards the direction of the roof terrace.

Nessie gripped his hand, closed her eyes, and put her trust in him. She didn't open her eyes until he had stopped dashing, "h-how d-do you d-do that? C-c-can I d-do something l-like that w-with V-viper?" She wondered, running a hand through her hair to smooth it back from her face, and smiled at him.

James thought about it for a second, "I think i just use the air to throw myself forward at super high speeds..." He smiled, "You probably can...like jet propulsion under your feet...and hands to stabilize yourself." James nodded and then hugged her, "But for now...are you ready to fly?"

Nessie nodded, hugging him tight. "Y-yes" she said, swallowing. She was slightly afraid, but trusted James to keep her safe, "let's fly!" She managed to say without stuttering, "h-h-how d-do y-you w-want me?" She asked, trying to figure out how he was going to fly with her as well. She stepped back to smile at him, her eyes alight

James wrapped her in a hug and took off straight up into the sky, shooting nearly a mile off the ground, "Look out nes! Look at everything." The sky was a beautiful blue and the clouds were whipped into wild and crazy shapes, "This is the sky Nes...This is my home."

Nessie barely held back a squeal when he shot up into the sky. She looked about in amazement, clutching to him, enjoying the clear blue sky, laughing at the shapes of the clouds. "Oh, James, it's b-b-beautiful" why couldn't she had air instead of fire? There was such beauty in the sky. "I l-love it" she wrapped her arms around him

James smiled, "Wanna see something really beautiful?" James shot up super high over the clouds, he was using his power to keep the air breathable as well. "Look down..."

Nessie pressed closer to James, shaking slightly as he rose. She swallowed and looked down, letting out a gasp "oh. W-wow" she said, seeing how tiny the earth was from up here, how small the building was. "M-m-makes you f-feel s-small"

Nyx cried herself to exhaustion, finding a small divot in one of the hall ways and crammed herself in to it. She didn't know what she was going to do, what was she to say to Alex, he must hate her. She tucked her self in to a ball as she tried think of what she was going to do, cuddling herself to the sweater. She still needed to find clothing. She stood herself up by using the wall as a support and stumbled out of the crease in the wall, her eyes were as dark as a starless night, and dark purple circles accompanied her pale flushed face, she looked and felt like utter garbage.
She began down the hall and towards the combat rooms where they had the training uniforms but the only ones that were left were full suited outfits made out of leather and cloth, she had no energy to debate whether to wear one or not and slipped herself out of the sweater and zipped herself in to the suit. Now.. How was she going to find Alex?
