All was fine a good on the SS Serendipity while it made its way through the ocean of stars. It carried the precious cargo of prisoners, but not just any prisoners one scheduled for termination. There were three shifts of guards posted throughout the ship to make sure everything was running as it shohld and the prisoners were kept in their cryogenic state of suspended animation.

The Serendipity was half way through it's journey when all of a sudden the ship's evaluation alarm system went off. *WAN WAN WAN*
"What is going on!" Yelled the captain looking frantically at his monitors. "Why is this-"
"Sir!" One of the officers on the bridge with him called out. "It appears the reactor is leaking!" He young officer was panicked as more alerts appeared. "THE SHIP'S CONTROL SYSTEM IS MALFUNCTIONING!" he almost leaped out of his seat.
"Get a hold of your self! What is-"
"Captain!" He was interrupted again by a voice over the ship PA. "The hanger doors are open, and sucking everything out!" The look on the captains face was one of sheer terror. What is happening to my ship?[i] he thought, his eyes wide.
[Contamination level critical. Evacuation process started.]
The ships computer called out an automated message. Everyone frantically made their way to the escape pods.
"Chris, what about the prisoners?" It was the first mate asking as he and the captain boarded the last pod.
"They are all sentenced to death you fool now move!" With that they got in and ejected.

After the last pod launched something mysterious happened. The alarm siren shut off a few minutes after the crew had gone, and the hanger door shut. All the monitors on the bridge flickered off then back on as the system reset. A message flashed on the screen saying:

cloning in progress, randomized order selected.

Marcus felt odd, like water being poured out of one cup and into another. He had never felt this way before while being awakened from Cryo, but he didn't give it much thought. All he knew was: it was relly bright all of a sudden. [i] we must have arrived.
he thought bring his hands up to block the light. He just stood there waiting for some guards to grab his arms and lead him off to his doom... "Okay guys anytime now." He said blinking furiously as his eyes adjusted to the light. He looked around and saw no one outside his... wait he wasn't in a tube. He reached out his hand searching for a barrier, but found none. "This is very strange." He said stepping into the hall. "Where is my audience, my monkeys?" Marcus called out.

Jason woke up with a start, his breathing fast, but collected. He scanned around the room, or at least as much as he could see, before he started moving his fingers and toes, as if to check for mobility without calling for too much attention. Something was wrong, he thought. Normally he wouldn't be granted such freedoms, specially when he couldn't hear a soul with him in the room. He tentatively moved his arms up to his face, rubbing his eyes once he noticed it was okay to do so, then pulled himself up, sitting on the stretcher he had been laying on. "Curious..." He said as he looked around again, before jumping off the stretcher. The first thing he did was look for a computer panel, bringing up the keyboard and starting to type in commands, slowly at first, but quickly picking up speed. "Let's see what the log has to say..." He thought out loud.

Jacque slowly awoke and grumbled with displeasure as his eyes were accosted with bright florescent lights rather than the darkness of his bedroom, then let out a rather hefty sigh as he remembered where he was and why he was there. "At the very least I want to SEE my executioner rather than arrive blind..." The man muttered as he slowly reached into his coat pocket, only to freeze as the realization hit him; he was mobile, whats more he was mobile and NOT being restrained or tranquilized by several security officers. Jacque blinked a bit in confusion as he pulled out his sunglasses and placed them on his face before looking around, "I'm not in my container....and i'm not being restrained...how curious." he said. Jacque pondered his current situation a bit more, then made the decision that if he was out and no one knew it, he should probably use the opportunity to try and escape. Jacque looked around a bit more, then jumped upwards and clung to the ceiling like the human equivalent of a gecko. The vampire took one final look back to ensure he wouldn't be caught off guard, then began to crawl down the hall.

The girl's eyes shot up and frantically jumped off from the bed, clinging to the wall like some psychotic child "Who wants to play a little game?!" To her amusement, she had no audience... The room was empty. What kept her even more curious was the fact that she had her previous attire pre-jail locked up and she didn't have handcuffs and/or restraints on her. She dropped off from the roof, falling on top of the counter with her height no taller than the height of a normal lounge couch. "Aww. No friends." She pouted, where was the guards?

Kijani groaned low as she was suddenly aware of the world again. Her first instinct was to yawn and stretch, and she did so. The surprise came after, as she realized she could, in fact, stretch freely without the weight of cuffs and chains. "...hmm..." She rolled her tongue, dislodging a tiny ball of real mint from the corner of her mouth. Cyrosleep always made one's breath smell awful, and she wasn't going to have that. Fresh breath could mean the difference between a successful bribe or a failed attempt. Chewing lightly, she waited until her eyes adjusted to being open again, and she looked around her cell. It was empty, save for her.

"Interesting..." She murmured to the air as she smoothed her handmade, red silk suit and adjusted her tie. Plucking a few seeds from the pocket beneath the golden tie, she let a few tiny vines start to grow from between her fingers. They blossomed, letting out a few tiny buds and getting thicker, until they had wound their way around most of her hand, like a thick, living glove. "This has to be some kind of trick." With her free hand, she arranged her thick dreadlocks into a neat knot at the back of her neck. Trick or no, she didn't go anywhere without looking the best that she possibly could. Once she peeked in the shiny metal wall of the ship and determined herself passable, she took a few hesitant steps into the hall. Her golden eyes scanned for movement as she wondered just what in the universe was going on.

Jason stared at the screen, more specifically at the pieces after corrupted data and sighed. "Okay, there's that." He said before closing the console session and logging off the ship's computer for the moment. He held no naive ideas of being the only one having woken up, so he knew he had to be careful out there. Still, there was no use staying in his room, the last thing he wanted was to arrive to their destination after all, and there was nothing in the logs indicating that their course had changed. "Let's see how difficult it is to escape from a metal container suspended in a vacuum... shouldn't be that hard." He said with a grin, tapping the wall as if trying to figure out how thick the metal walls were before opening the door and stepping out into the hall.

Marcus took one more look down both sides of the corridor before whispering to himself. "There are no guards... I AM FREE!" he yelled the last part and broke into a maniacal laughter holding his gut. This twisted spectacle was immediately stopped and he took on a professional aura when he heard a door open along the hall he was standing in. "We don't have time for that." He said straightening his clothes. "Sorry, your right." He responed to his own statement looking at the now open door.

Milo Cash felt like he was born again, a litteral new person. "So The Jester is free... which dumbass made that call?" He asked the question openly eyes shut still, when no response came he opened them no guards, no cryo-cell, nothing that should have been there. "The jester is free, oh filled with glee I be, but wait somebody taint oh where oh where is my mate, my staff oh I need a draft." He spoke making the word draft more draff so to rhyme with staff. He walked out of the desolate room to find where they would be holding his staff, only to find more people instead

Jacque's attempt at an escape came to a grinding halt as the man heard the echo of another person from a corridor to his left. The man turned his head and raised his brow a bit with a sneer. "It figures that I wouldn't be the only one out of cryosleep. But of all the people to be freed from their confinement, did the person that got out have to be someone so loud?" he hissed to himself with disdain. There was no time to worry about some buffoon announcing his liberation to the world though, Jacque continued to crawl along the ceiling in hopes that he would at some point find an escape pod, after all if there were any personnel on the ship they were sure to come looking for the source of that yell and string of laughter.

The mechanical door slid open, and no guards were in sight. It was the perfect setting to start riling herself up with her own fun. She looked at her oversized jacket sleeves and smiled before pushing them on to the ground as a dark, obsidian-like metal substance entered the floor. Upon the release of her palms, nothing abnormal could be seen. "... I AM FREE! WAHAHAHAH!" The laughter made her smile and laughed with the echo, the difference being that it was the sound of a small child laughing at their parents.

"So someone's here after all. Friends! I like friends! HEEEEEEYY!" She shouted towards the source of the laughter and ran towards it.

"A person comes, a person I know not, they shan't touch my pot, nor my staff, and I still need a draft" he said saying the draft the same way as earlier. "Come no closer, lest ye be a wee bit bolder, but being bold means you've sold your soul unto the taker, would you be ready to meet the maker?" He called towards the person yelling about friends and running towards him his laughter turned meniacle from his other laughing fun

Jason looked around the hall for a moment, hearing the commotion that confirmed that, indeed, he wasn't the only prisoner that had been freed. He grinned, heading towards the engineering section, when he saw someone come from another one of the rooms ahead of him and start talking, but it was like he was talking to himself, not at Jason. "Ooookaaaaay..." He muttered before continuing to walk in his direction as if he hadn't noticed, planning to just walk past him. "Good day to you, sir." He said as he came closer.

Marcus watched as a man came out of the opened door and gave him an odd looke which he just stood and looked back at him. Then (Jason) started to walk past Marcus and greet him. "Where are the guards?" Marcus stated after the man was about four feet down the hall from him.

Jason looked at Marcus and shrugged, giving him a short grin. "Probably dead." He said before stopping and turning around to look at Marcus. "I'm heading up to the bridge to take control of the ship, could use some help if they are holed up there." He said.

Marcus gave a grin as he recognized Jason from one of the many transfer facilities. "We will need something to fight with, It would be better to find the armory or locker room." He paused a moment. "I'm Marcus, and I am glad we found each other. There is no better person for an escape/commandeering than you Jason." He held out his hand. "We met at a transfer, well we heard each other's charges and verdict really."

Jason nodded and shook Marcus' hand. "Yeah, I remember, good to see you're still alive." He said before turning towards the bridge again. "And we won't need weapons, I would only need some help to get to a console near the bridge, then I can just suffocate whoever's in there." He added with a grin. Jason had an habit of thinking of people, animals or whatever else that stood between him and his objectives as merely things to be removed as quickly and cleanly as possible.

Kijani heard voices coming from the corridors, and knew then, rather than suspected, that something had gone quite strange. There were no guards. Not only that, there were no bodies of dead guards. She could have made more sense of dead guards, but... to have no trace of them was something else altogether. She shut her eyes, mentally going over a blueprint of a standard prisoner transport ship that she'd memorized years back. When she'd learned it, she'd been nowhere near capture, but she wasn't anything if she wasn't overcautious. She had a backup plan for a lot of situations, and if she didn't have one set, she could make one very quickly.

Currently, she let herself calmly head toward where the officer's bridge was. Voices bounced off the walls, to her ears, and she flexed her back and shoulders, prepping herself for battle. Her legs were warm enough, though she would hate to sully her favorite suit with battle. Oh well. She could obtain another. She moved enough to where she had a clear sense of who may be ahead. Two. Male. M..Mar...marius? And Jacen.. or something. The echoes were distorting the fine detail, though she was pretty sure she heard the word 'suffocate' or something of the like. That would mean that the two up ahead were certainly not officers.

She straightened her clothing again, checked her hair, and pressed her lips together until the blood flow gave them a natural tint. She steadied herself with a quick, fierce smile at her reflection before she walked further. Her whole body suggested a confidence that said she belonged there more than anyone in a uniform. "Greetings, gentlemen." Her rich alto rung around the area as she took a seemingly relaxed stance. "What's the situation?"

Warden practically ran across the halls aimlessly and not listening or paying attention to where she was going. In the end, she just ran into a pole where three people were standing. "Ow!"
