Hm... they both have some pretty good points. The city, or the forest? Perhaps a compromise? AHA! I think as I look towards Connor first, and then towards Ralph. I then finally say "How about both? As in, a cave that's still somewhat close to the city? It would be less difficult to find than a building, and wouldn't have a flammable forest surrounding it, and, as a cave, wouldn't really be flammable on its own. We'd still be near the city, so getting supplies and recruits wouldn't be too hard, and we'd still be out of the city, so it can still be a secret to those who may want us dead." I then take a breath, and hope that they'd take kindly to my idea. Another thing I thought about was doors... with a building, Connor's massive frame wouldn't really fit in it too well, and he'd risk breaking the base if he wanted to *ahem* make improvements to the structure, given how weak most buildings seem to have gotten. They were literally falling down left and right. A cave, however, may very well have an entrance that's large enough for Connor, as well as whomever else we may recruit, to fit in nicely. Of course, we'd still have to make changes, so, gathering wood for supports would be the first thing on the list if we were going to do this. Heck, with how big the cave system might be, we could also easily expand, or, better yet, have Connor expand the cave if our base has gotten too big... not that I wouldn't help him, as I seem to have some sort of ability with rocks, now. Thankfully for this idea, we lived in a very mountainous area, so it was very likely that there were more than one cave within walking distance from the city, itself.

I watch as Elena pelts the thing with water, and Miles get uppercut by the miniature golem. It then walked back a bit, as Miles seems to have caught on fire from the torch. "Miles, no!" I shout, thinking that he was dying. "Elena, try putting out that fire, I'll handle this golem thing." I say to Elena, hoping that I could save his life. I then fly up to the golem, and slash at the thing a few times before getting a left hook to my jaw. A few teeth popped out of my head from the blow, but I wasn't going to let that stop me. I roared, something I never thought I'd do back when I was human, and I fired three lightning bolts, and one fire breath at the thing, which was still alive after all of that... well, given that one of the lightning bolts missed, I wasn't too surprised, I was, however, running on adrenaline, which was both a good thing and a bad thing. Good, 'cause I won't feel too much pain for a little while, bad 'cause I'll feel all that pain, and probably then some once I crash, so to speak. I fly higher in some sort of bid to get out of the thing's reach, and the thing counters with some sort of jumping uppercut, one that hit my jaw again... this was about the time where I hoped that dragon teeth were like shark teeth, or, at least, I had hoped that they would grow back... I mean, what's a dragon without teeth? I was undeterred thanks to the adrenaline rush, however, I was starting to worry about my dental health... either way, I blasted the thing with fire again, hoping that it would be enough to destroy it... and, finally, it was. The thing broke apart, and somehow, there were a few copper coins, and a flask with some weird red liquid in it, capped off with a classic cork. My adrenaline ran out at that point, and I shouted in pain from all the abuse I took... just as well, as I felt as though someone took a hammer to my head five times, well, mostly my snout, but still. That, and dental pain can be the worst kind of pain. I ended up landing as well from all of that.
