"Bul-BAAA!" Brobasaur yelled, using Vine Whip to grab the Rattata and throwing it against the ground. All it could do in response was growl, which Brobasaur ignored and used Tackle to finish it off.
"Vine whip and tackle, not bad..." Jason said. "But is that it?"
"Bulbasaur!" Brobasaur growled in response, as if that was an insult to his pride. He quickly ran off again, finding another foe so he could show off his moves.

Nezmia rode up on her bike, stopping in front of the lab she had been instructed to go to. After stepping off and chaining the bike to a near by post, she paused looking at all the new trainers in the area. She blinked. Wow people really like water pokemon.. She thought.

She went inside the lab and asked to speak with Oak. After being lead to the back she introduced herself politely and explained where she had come from. After a bit of chatting, she was asked which pokemon she would like. She chose Charmander. After receiving the pokedex and the pokeball. Mia thanked Oak and went outside to leave. She paused and tossed the pokeball. The charmander popped out and looked at her.

Charr....Charmander Nezmia bent down and examined her new companion. "Hmm..You look like you're a tough guy. And you sound like you have an attitude." The charmander crossed his arms and snorted a small flame to the side as he looked away from her. "Hah! What a lil fighter. I think that I will call you Daro." She paused and looked at his pokeball. She clicked the button and shrank it to storage size and put it away. "I don't know how we're gonna learn to trust each other if you're always put away.. Why don't you stay out here with me. We'll be a team, no matter what... What do you say?"

She held out her hand to him and waited. Charmander looked to her for a long moment. Char! Char, Charr, Charmander CHAR! The little dragon took her hand in his claw and shook it, puffing up with respect.

Shiranui was flying east towards Pallet Town on his father's Charizard. The dragon-like Pokémon swooped towards the lab and when his altitude was low enough, Shiranui jumped off and landed in a kneeling position. "Thanks Hokage, see you later!" he said after getting up. Hokage let off an acknowledging roar and banked back towards Ecruteak City.

When Shiranui entered the lab, an aspiring Pokémon watcher named Tracy Sketchit led him to Prof. Oak. "Hello there," the professor greeted, "What starter would you like?"
"I'll pick Bulbasaur please," Shiranui answered.
"Excellent choice," replied Prof. Oak, "Here's your Pokédex and five Poké Balls. Good luck on your journey."

Shiranui left the lab with a smile and looked around at the congregation of people, seeing a battle here and there. "Fushigi, come on out!" He let his starter Pokémon out for the very first time and the Bulbasaur looked over at Shiranui. Fushigi, after a while, ran at Shiranui and jumped into his trainer's arms. "We have some great times ahead," stated Shiranui as he got with Fushigi in tow and made his way to the Route 1 exit.

Alexa, wandering away from the battle, saw that there were more people coming to get their Pokemon. "Hi!" she greeted them, "Have you gotten your Pokemon yet?"

"Saur!" The sunlight turned harsh when Brobasaur found his next opponent, A pidgey.
"Sunny Day, hUh?"Jason said, shielding his eyes. "Why sunny-"
Before Jason could finish his sentence, Brobasaur spewed a dark, toxic liquid at the Pidgey then nimbly dodged it's incoming gust attack. Brobasaur quickly finshed Pidgey off with a tackle right after it's missed gust, knocking it down to the ground. Proud of himself, Brobasaur looked over at his trainer with a grin.
"You were going fast out there, Brobasaur," Jason said, impressed. "A lot faster than before. "
"Bulba!"
"How did you do that?"

"Nice!" Chuck said, smiling at her new friend. "We should see if anyone else wants to come with us."

Alexa, overhearing their conversation, asked, "Can I come? I won't be much help... but I may be able to heal your Pokemon." She wasn't going to go alone. She needed friends.

Laim stated "the more the merrier." He then walked over to Shirauni and introduced himself.

Brobasaur did not reply but looked around more, eager to fight more.
"Alright, I'll just ask a professional or something later. Eventually." Jason said. He then walked to more of the tall grass, with Brobasaur right beside him. A couple seconds past, and another rattata appeared. Brobasaur spewed a gray powder at the Rattata before Jason could order him to do otherwise, and the Rattata fell asleep.
"Sleep powder?"
"Saur!"

Brobasaur did not reply but looked around more, eager to fight more.

"Glad to have you!" Chuck said. He went with Zeni to greet the newcomers.

"Thanks for letting me come along." Alexa said to Liam. She let Kawaii out of her Pokeball. "Squirtle squirt!" Kawaii muttered. "You have... Tackle, Hail, Tail Whip, and Dig. Wow... You poor thing, you won't get much battling time. Well I suppose I could attempt it..." Alexa stated.

(We aren't limited to 4 moves, as long as it can learn it, it'll know it.)

"If you need any help, I'm always available." Chuck said. "I know I'm just starting out too, but my parents own a Day Care Center in Kalos, and I helped them out until I left for here, so I know a lot about Pokémon already."

"Lucky! I just had to sit by and watch the day-care couple do stuff in Solaceon Town!" Alexa whined, "So, what should we do now?"

Chuck checked his map and said "Oh, so you're from Sinnoh! As for what know, I think Liam is seeing if anyone else wants to join us."

"Oh okay... And you're from Kalos?" Alexa said, "Have you been to Lumiose City? I hear you can get clothes and haircuts and juice and-" Alexa stopped rambling.

He chuckled and said "I'm actually from Lumiose City, and yes, you can get all that stuff. But if you're not careful, you can also get lost."

Brobasaur then used leech seed on the sleeping Rattata, and gave out a breath of relief when he felt the healing effects of it.
"Leech seed as well? You're very resourceful, aren't yah?"
"Saur..."
After a couple seconds of Bulbasaur enjoying the healing effects, the Rattata woke up and tackled Brobasaur. Enraged, Brobasaur tackled the Rattata into the ground, pinning it. The Rattata squirmed as it tried to free himself, but Brobasaur but the Rattata, ending it's struggled.
"Woah, brutal..." Jason said walked over to Brobasaur. "Take it down a notch Brobasaur?"
"Saur..." Brobasaur growled at the fallen Rattata, ignoring Jason.
